I am so happy I decided to start learning to code with SheCodes. I love to create, so I thought why not learn to create in other ways? The lessons are simple and easy to follow. The basics course is a great way to get your foot in the door to code.

SheCodes basics was an excellent introduction to coding. The course is structured in a way that is easy to follow, Matt is clear in his teaching, and the coding-challenges after each lesson secures constant practicing. I love that it is fast-paced so you have to pause and re-watch the videos, rather than losing attention and focus. Learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript was a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to enrolling in SheCodes Plus!π©πΌβπ»

Great course! It wasn't complicated or confusing at all. Whenever I was stuck I had all the help I needed through the SheCodes community on Slack. I'm very excited and satisfied with the codes. I can't wait to keep learning.
This was a great workshop that covered all of the basics. I had an understanding of some html and css from blog styling, but this workshop taught me how to understand placement, tidy code, as well as the wide possibilities and functions that could also be achieved with the basics.

It was a very interesting experience of creating a website - from idea to implementation. I created a website for my mom with real data. I plan to use it in the future. Thanks to Matt for a clear and interesting material. That was exciting.

The course was broken up into bite-sized chunks that have made it much easier for a total beginner to grasp the concepts taught. I have tried to learn on my own before (and I have been taught by a colleague) and it has been too overwhelming for me to continue. Really challenging workshop especially with learning how to make the websites responsive but I guess that's why we need to know how to do this. I enjoyed the lessons and am now more confident in building responsive websites.

I've always been afraid of coding & felt I'm not gonna learn it ever! But SheCodes has shown me that it is not impossible. Each lesson covers several new things but finishes before you get bored and I think this is the golden point. So happy to start this journey.
Thanks to the Delac Foundation that gave me this opportunity to be in this workshop. It was incredible! I've never imagined how interesting JS would be, also Matt (the instructor) teach every subject plainly so that everyone can learn and understand in the best way.

Admittedly, I was a little overwhelmed at first. However, while I was working on the project, I felt like all of the elements I had learned during the course came together. Creating content about material that I am knowledgeable of pushed me to develop a page that I am proud to share.

I found this course to be pretty fun. But it's definitely pretty fast paced. I would've struggled if I hadn't already learned some basic html and CSS through other platforms. But I really enjoyed all the challenges and homework. I felt like with other platforms I was just coding along and doing what the instructor did. This platform allows you to learn and try out what you've learned, which is what makes instruction stick. I'm excited to go through to the next few workshops!

I am a recent graduate with a BFA degree. I realized I wanted to learn more coding (as in UX/UI) and hopefully become Front End Developer. I was unsure about SheCodes, but took the leap of faith. Totally worth it. I love everything about SheCodes, I always feel motivated coming here to learn and play with my creativity!
I really had so many pre-conceptions about coding! Luckily I joined Matt's free introductory talk and I was hooked. I decided to give it a go and see learning programming as learning any other language (which I really love, and I'm good at), and it worked. Though challenging, I'm loving the process and all the growth I can see myself gaining. Definitely recommended.

It's been awhile since I've done something that had me wanting to do it day and night, but SheCodes had me wanting to start coding the moment I woke up. I started from knowing zero about coding to making my own project with just the basic skills. This course kept my ADHD brain focused and explained in a way that anyone would understand. SheCodes plus was obviously way more challenging then SheCodes basic but not any less enjoyable for me. I am going to revisit some lessons from the PLUS part, just to make sure I fully understand certain topics before I move on to the next SheCodes chapter. I am looking very much forward to it :) Thank you to Matt and the team for all the help. Also, Thanks to the Slack team for always being so patient and prompt to answer all my newbie questions.
