I loooved doing this course! Above all, I really like the way Matt teaches - I think great and passionate teachers make a world of difference. I always liked the idea of coding and wanted to find out if I liked it and if it suited me. For me, this was a great introduction into a new world for which I now want to create space in my life to further explore. I'm inspired - Thank You so much! I also appreciated the supportive community and the generous and accessible resources. This might have been the first time in all my studies - that I remembered to enjoy the process of learning for the whole journey 😄 and that's a really cool space to be in! I highly recommend SheCodes and already have done so to several friends. 🥳

This workshop has been a great asset to my coding courses through SheCodes. It was the most difficult, but I am glad I went through with it. This workshop has been challenging but very satisfying! I actually feel like I am learning what I need to know to succeed as a web developer. I am also able to work at my own pace without feeling rushed. I would highly recommend trying SheCodes!

What I wanted the most from this workshop was to have an idea of coding so I could decide if it was something I wanted to continue learning. I am very glad I decided to do this as it was easy and fun and I definitely will continue on the coding journey!

Easy to learn, great information

This is great project.

After years of working in design and animation, I felt the need to step up my game and give a try on coding. SheCodes has been an amazing platform for women like me who wants to level up a career in tech. This workshop has made me feel comfortable and confident enough not only to design but also to implement my own website project plus I can do it responsive! I am now excited to design and code more web projects.

Again, I would love to thank Matt to achieve a result in SheCodes Responsive. It can help everyone be more productive and effective in team of the company.

I would highly recommend shecodes plus. The lessons were easy to follow while still being challenging. I feel like I learnt a lot from this module and am looking forward to beginning the next one! 😀

This has been a fantastic experience. The Basic course covered so much in 3 weeks that I now feel more confident with HTML, CSS and Javascript. Throughout the course, the lessons, challenges, and solution videos were structured in a supportive and detailed way. The way SheCodes sets up each week makes it easy to fit around life and full-time work. The next course looks amazing and I can't wait to get started.

If you are looking for some courses on Front-End Development, you need to check out the SheCodes platform. I was looking for such courses for a long time and I had almost given up. But then I learned about this grant and it was the best decision I ever made! They helped me with the basics of this profession and taught me what seemed too difficult for me before. Thank you for such a wonderful opportunity for self-development!

It is an excellent course, very simple, an easy-to-understand language for people who do not have experience in coding

Great course to dip your toes into the world of coding. You leave with practical skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript that you can start using right away. The pace was great, and the content was very manageable around full time work. Would definitely recommend this course for those interested in exploring whether coding is for you.

I joined this course without any prior knowledge of coding. After SheCodes Basic, I am now able to build my own website!

This course has been great so far! It's only been 3 weeks and I feel like I'm really getting a good understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Matt does a great job of explaining what to do and why it needs to be done, while allowing us space to practice what we've learned. I can't wait to move into the next course.

The SheCodes Basic's add-on extension was a lot of fun. I was able to learn a few more tricks and produce another cool landing page for my portfolio. Can't wait to tackle SheCodes Plus!

This really is the best coding bootcamp out there. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to code but thinks they don't have what it takes to actually do it.

Thanks to this workshop, I learned React. It was not always easy, but with more effort the result will be great. Also thanks to the links to additional resources, I studied even more material. So I really happy to complete (successfully, I think) this course and now I'm ready to start searching a cool job.

Happy to have completed the last (not including add-ons) SheCodes course! I would recommend taking this right after SheCodes plus, as it feels like a natural extension. I took the React course first, which was definitely more comprehensive. But this course definitely shows how much you can do with HTML and CSS alone, and I'm looking forward to keep working on my new portfolio website!

Understanding coding more and more everyday!

Really loved this course!! As a beginner with React JS , this course helped me have a good understanding on the basics. I would definitely recommend this course to folks who are new to React. Matt is amazing!

It's been a tough 8 weeks. Felt frustrated a lot of times trying to get my code to work but at the end of the day, it all worked out just fine. Grateful for the level up!

I was a little wary to do a programming course because, before joining SheCodes, I tried others and fail to understand most of the commands. However, after attending the free class, I realized it was time to try again, and I'm glad I did! The course is very well put together and planned, and also the community is amazing! With that, it's definitely a good push to really get your gears going when it comes to piecing things together and understanding a bit more on the greater details. This was a super fun and functional introduction for coding! In merely 3 weeks I learned the basics and got to understand the working of coding in HTML -CSS - JS. I also liked how it is already functional to begin with.

A much needed add-on, this was completely helpful to polish skills. Who knew grids could be as equally beautiful as they are complicated?

Very nice basics workshop!

I would highly recommend this course for those who are searching for a way to understand how React and JSX work (you need basic knowledge of JS). It's totally true, that there is not much difference, but with knowledge of how to make it all work will be much easier and painless! Especially when you'll have such a great teacher and instructions ❤️ Prepare yourself, that it will not be click-easy, in light of the extremely fast-changing versions and updates, but you'll definitely get it :) And it will be good training to work with endless updating of React, which is the true face of today's technologies - it's your Wonderland where you definitely need to "believe as many as six impossible things before breakfast" and "it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!" Have fun 🥰

SheCodes introduced me to something I never really thought I could do! I more than enjoyed learning and will continue because of this workshop.

I would highly recommend SheCodes workshop. These courses are a great opportunity to learn new knowledge, enjoying every lesson. Matt Delac explains each topic in a very accessible way, paying attention to every detail to make sure everything works out. Video lessons do not take a lot of time, but the quality of learning is still on the highest level. I had a lot of fun doing challenges and a project. I really like this workshop! The most valuable for me is the method of thinking while you build your app. This step-by-step developing, when you firstly add component, check if it works, add small changes one at a time - it is so simple and so vital to keep in mind!

Easy to follow instructions. I found the project to be very entertaining and it rekindled my love for coding.

I thought it was so difficult to learn and practice coding. But, I wanted to give it try, and after practicing almost every day and going through my code to refresh my memory, I definitely felt I have the knowledge and skills of coding when I took the SheCodes Basics. But, this is just the beginning. I'm planning to take the advanced workshops soon!

This was a more intensive workshop than the basic, I am so glad I completed it! Learning the code was challenging at times but, that's when I was more than happy to turn to the internet for a different explanation. Each assignment had me changing my CSS drastically though, the way you can do literally anything with your code is so fun. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to really know coding.

A friend of mine introduced me to Shecodes and I thought, "Maybe this is something I could do." I found myself enjoying the creative process of coding and realized that I had no concept of time while delving into this new world. I recommend this class to anyone who enjoys learning new things.
