I like the way the subjects are approached and the challenges are designed; we have to strive to complete them, and that turns into motivation to tackle all the required challenges.
I always thought that I need to learn maths to be able to code anything and I could never bring to live my projects and ideas until I did my free class, I instantly felt for the satisfaction or writing a code that works even though it was something simple. Now I am very excited for the next challenge that is coming!

I was in Tech Sales for around 12 years, but I always knew that was not my happy place. After I took the first SheCodes class, I finally realised that my real passion is not selling Tech, it's being in it! I decided to switch careers and I've never been this motivated and happy. I have to say that I REALLY LOVE this workshop! I appreciate that I get to apply the foundational skills taught in the earlier workshops and the advanced techniques learnt in the Plus and Responsive workshops. This opportunity of building my responsive portfolio made me fall in love with coding even more!
Learning to code was on my checklist and I am happy to check this off. I loved applying the learning from each lesson with an exercise, which also helped to remember them better. I loved that the course was flexible and allowed me to complete it at my convenience yet kept me motivated with weekly deadlines.
I got an opportunity to join SheCodes classes, just within 3 weeks I see a lot of changes in my coding journey than most institutions I have tried before. I can't wait to join the next three and have enough skills to join my fellow women in the Tech world.

A fun addition to the basics workshop. The basics add-on shows simple techniques that make a big difference.
From the very first day that I started learning coding with SheCodes, I was excited to build a website with multiple pages based on my design. Having participated in the SheCodes Responsive workshop, this goal has now been achieved. I'm looking forward to learning more about this field from SheCodes and deepening my knowledge.

This course was amazing! As an introduction into the world of tech , this was the perfect pace for me . The instructor Matt delivers the information in a way that simple and easy to understand. Being able to go back and watch a lesson was a huge comfort as well as being able to reach out for help through slack . I honestly give this a 10/10 and recommend anyone who is interested but sure where to start to take this class ! Imso happy I did , and I will be continuing to the next course after this one !!
The course was quite interesting and I had the opportunity to explore my creative side by designing a responsive portfolio website. Having a better understanding of how we build a responsive website is great. To create a responsive website faster, I think Bootstrap, Flexbox, and CSS utility classes are great starting points. In addition to the knowledge I gained, I am pleased with the website I have created for my portfolio.
SheCodes Plus was definitely challenging however I loved that I get to challenge my thinking skills after each lesson and learn something new! The SheCodes team and community is so helpful as well! Thank you and I really enjoyed making this weather app!

As a designer with an education in UI/UX and strong interest in front-end development, SheCodes Basic and Plus were valuable resources on my journey towards refreshing my knowledge of HTML/CSS and Git, as well as picking up new ones in JS, APIs, and more. The lessons were clear and concise, and I liked that the platform allowed me to view and review the SheCodes videos, notes, and other recourses at my own pace. The community is also inspiring, warm, and diverse. I enjoyed connected with a handful of SheCodes alumni as well as fellow students over LinkedIn over the past months. With the help of Matt and the SheCodes community, I feel supported and engaged in my journey towards a career in combined UI/UX and front-end development. I'm also excited to continue working on this project and alongside new ones, in the upcoming weeks!
