I was already familiar with HTML but not JavaScript or CSS. Learning JavaScript and CSS was a breeze with the way that Matt broke everything down. I was extremely nervous about learning the two, but the way that Matt teaches it was truly amazing! I honestly am in disbelief that I have completed my first project! I'm excited to continue learning with SheCodes!
Really fun and useful workshop. All information is presented in an accessible form for a beginner. Learning to code was easy and fun thanks to short lessons with lots of step by step instructions. SheCodes is the best platform to learn coding, as a beginner I thought I will have difficulties in adjusting but it wasn't the case. I am excited for this new journey, can't wait to start shecodes plus, hopefully it will open greater opportunities for my career.

I liked so much the basics course I decided to enrol in the Add-ons Basics Workshop to have one more project and improve my HTML, CSS and JavaScript knowledge. The Plus workshop was instructive in creating a fully functioning weather app. The lessons guide you through the process of implementing APIs, multiple functions, loops and arrays, etc in JavaScript and HTML, and also give you creative freedom in adding personal touches in the CSS.
This was a pretty intensive workshop. I enjoyed and it, and can say that my understanding of React grew. I will add this project to my portfolio. I feel more confident in my coding journey.

I just finished a beginner programming course and it was great! The video tutorials were easy to follow and the instructor did a great job of explaining complex concepts in a clear way. When I signed in on SheCodes, I knew nothing about coding but I've learned more than I expected and I was very surprised of the skills I aqcuired at the end of those past three weeks. I usually don't like online courses but surprisingly, I enjoyed watching the videos and doing the different challenges. Matt explains everything well and the fact that I could extend the deadlines is helpfull and stress releaving. I had a really fun time learning with SheCodes and I highly recommend.
I recommend it to whoever has a basic knowledge of web design and wants to improve it. The videos and mateials are excellent. Throughout the course, you work on different aspects of your final project (Weather app) and that is what made SheCodes Plus special for me.

Wow, learning React has been quite a journey! It was a bit difficult at the beginning to get into the mindset of "components", "states" and "loops", but once I started, I realized that I quite enjoyed being able to build this stuff! I've been able to build a weather app and a dictionary and use APIs for this, and I could never imagine doing this until some months ago. Really positively impressed and I can only recommend this course to everyone!

Learning React with SheCodes has been a rollercoaster of fun and challenge! After learning the basic steps in the past workshops -html, css, Js and Responsive things are really starting to come together. Overall, React is a blast once you get the hang of it!

Its a easy, but comprehensive course. I really enjoyed the simplicity, but the review of options to show the coder that there is a lot of flexibility within the codes.

This workshop was challenging in a fun way and pushes you to learn extensively throughout the explanative videos. While I still do not 100% understand all of the Javascript and function creations have done throughout the project, it was an extremely rewarding feeling following the SheCodes API and putting in the correct conditions. I'm glad it was broken down into multi-week portions as it was HEFTY. I am grateful for the experience and have a project I can look back on and go "Oh yeah we did this here" and I get to dissect it even further while going deeper into learning code. It makes me appreciate the individuals who do this for a living. Hopefully, I too will get to the point where everything "just clicks" as it does for Matt Delac in his informative videos!

The 7 weeks were pretty stressful, but it takes a lot of dedication and navigating to figure out your own code. I successfully learned API, what to do to create and link my javascript code to the openweathermap.com, how to successfully host my website on Netlify, and to push my commits on GitHub.
