If you want to start with coding, I strongly recommend SheCodes Basics! You will learn high level what HTML, CSS and JS can do, and more importantly you get the tools to start exploring yourself :-).

Great introductory self-paced course for learning to code for front end development! Excellent three-step content delivery format: "learn, challenge, and solution" that helps in consolidating new knowledge and skills. Weekly deadlines (with reminders) reallyΒ holdsΒ you accountable, and the Slack Community has been an invaluable source of guidance and support.
Not gonna lie, it was the most challenging course. There is still a lot of things I need to study by myself, however, the base is very solid and I feel encouraged to continue my coding journey.

I have learned so much from these workshops. I started from not knowing anything about coding and now I can say that I've gained knowledge. While there is still much more to learn, this program helped in my start with this new career path.
I have enjoyed developing my coding skills with SheCodes. I especially enjoy that the content continues to build upon and utilize previously learned concepts and that each of the projects show a progression in skills.

I wanted to try it out and it was fun at times but the others a bit challenging. Now I can say I've tried it out. Though later I might like to do this again. It was pretty alright for the most part.

I came to SheCodes as an absolute beginner. The Basics workshop is exactly that, the basics. I didn't think that I would be able to learn the basics in HTML,CSS, and JavaScript in just three weeks. π
I thought this was a great introduction to web design.
I like the work at your own pace style and the short videos. I find that I am more likely to watch and listen to an entire video if it's no more than 15 minutes long. I also find the challenges after each video super helpful with understanding and remembering the codes. It is a great beginner course for anyone at any level.
Shecodes was the best place for me to start my coding journey. The ease and fun of coding was made possible here. This experience was so enjoyable that I look forward to continuing to develop my coding skills.
I really liked to watch the videos every day. It was interesting for me to make it and I could understand it much easier.

To be honest, React was a lot of challenge for me to learn, but all over that, it was a lot of fun! I appreciate the SheCodes team and Matt that I received heaps of help when I got stuck. This course is really good :) Enough information to make something good as a first project. And not overwhelming for newbies. Videos made as you can easily follow the topic. You will get a small pieces of knowledge but for everything. And you could decide at the end if you want go further.

Learning the basics of html, css & Javascript was a challenge but i felt so fulfilled after every lesson. The workshops were thorough but gave space to creativity and research without ever feeling lost. The Shecodes team are very attentive and make their presence known so it doesn't feel like you're just learning stuff online by yourself. I would recommend to anyone trying to get some more understanding of coding without it being intimidating.
Loved to learn React with SheCodes, it is explained for everyone's understanding and actually Matt made it look way easier than it is by teaching everything step by step so well. Totally recommend this course and SheCodes for everyone that wants to learn computer work.

Having no experience whatsoever about coding, I felt the course was very easy to follow. The way the content is shown makes it very easy to understand, and the practical challenges help you to apply the learned content. You are able to advance at your own pace which is great because sometimes you have some set backs. Still the follow-up emails always helped me to get back on track, to not give up and continue with the course. So far I am very happy with my learning experience, and I am very excited about the possible opportunities this knowledge may open for me.

This was my favorite class! I learned so many tricks and tips to make a really beautiful landing page. This class is a must to learn to make a webpage that looks professional and organized.

The course cover vast arguments that sometimes escape in other courses. I raccomend this course but don't forget train and search for yourself, don't relay only to the course.

As someone who was trying to self teach the basics of web development, I found the huge amount of resources available online intimidating and my attention wouldn't stick to just one course or one video tutorial. I would hop and skip to the next, and the next, and the next. This SheCodes course grabbed my attention from the start and definitely has me hooked. I am grateful that the Delac Foundation offered me a scholarship, which has allowed me to pursue my passion for coding. To expand my chances in this rapidly evolving technology industry, I have acquired knowledge and skills that I can build on. It feels quite empowering to have mastered the fundamentals of coding, and I am very proud of myself for being able to do it. I really enjoyed this workshop. Making weather app was really fun and satisfying. Matt is fantastic teacher and introduces you step by step in the begining web development. I never thought I could ever learn coding but SheCodes made sure that one can learn coding in the easiest yet most practical way. SheCodes Plus was really fun for me. Even though some of the coding seemed hard at first but Matt explained everything so clearly and the results amazed me every single time. I still can not believe I was able to make a Weather application!! Thanks to everyone at SheCodes and Matt for all the amazing work.

I learned a lot in this workshop and it was really fun working on my own portfolio website for the main project which i can build off of and use to showcase my work going forward. I like that Matt troubleshoots things in the videos and lets you know what the best practices are and why so you can apply it to real world experience.
It's never too late to learn! I gained so much fun within the course. It's exciting and fascinating progress to create a website on your own
I enjoyed this 3weeks. I had already learned html, css many years ago, but I didn't understand them.every class is clearly and homework is pracrical.
The SheCodes Plus course was certainly more challenging than the basics course but it is completely jammed packed with such useful information. Again, Matt explains everything in a way that makes it so easy to comprehend, even for beginners. I absolutely loved this course and enjoyed the challenge. The amount of information you receive for the price tag is well worth it. I'm super grateful that I stumbled across these workshops and look forward to building my own apps from scratch. :)

For beginners who are interested in getting a taste of what the coding industry has to offer, and how it would feel to walk in the shoes of an actual developer, I highly recommend taking the Basic class. The fact that I am more of a beginner, maybe even below zero, was not a problem. As a result of following the classes and instructions, I've been able to create a simple HTML page, with buttons, images, and information blocks, yay! I'm so happy with my progress so far!
SheCodes responsive workshop by far is the best workshop so far. It was very challenging but exciting. Everyday Matt taught us something new. Thank you so much to Matt and the SheCodes team!

I have really enjoyed the basics add-on course. It's a fantastic little course packed full of new things to learn. This add-on course has given me even more confidence to build projects and I am looking forward to the next challenge! I enjoy watching war films so that was my topic for this project!
This Add-On workshop included lots of great extra information which will be beneficial to improving the skills I gained from the previous course.
I have really enjoyed learning SheCodes Basics and completing the project. I have some other HTML knowledge but Matt's teaching style is easy to understand and doesn't give information that isn't necessary at this stage.

The Basics Add On course was both challenging and fun. I'm pleased with all the new tricks I learned and hope I will be able to apply them in the next course. After pursuing music for over 20 years and joining the Navy as a French Horn Instrumentalist, I have found a new passion in web development. I love the mathematical aspects of it, and I look forward to being able to provide for my family and enjoy my job every day! SheCodes has been an incredible resource to not only refine the basics that I already taught myself, but to approach them in a new way that makes the knowledge stick. I look forward to completing more of this program and using it to challenge myself!
This workshop is very efficient, all that you would learn here is based on a real-world project, and with such a small amount of time, you would be learning so much! I love the fact that every single lesson will involve you in a real-world application challenge
