I am looking to make a career transition to allow me to work remotely. I took this lesson to get a general idea if I would like coding. It is just a basis for my continued education. I think this is a good course to get the basic foundation down for continued education.
This was an excellent experience, I learned a lot and I would definitely keep doing all the courses in SheCodes. Matt is a great instructor, every topic is very well explained. I am currently studying UX and I'm excited to put to use all the tools when it comes to create a prototyping design, mobile apps, or websites.

Having to create not one but two different weather apps using two different languages has been so interesting. From having little to no knowledge about react to learning and creating a weather app is fascinating. After completing SheCodes Basic Bootcamp, I must say that it was an incredible experience. I had always been interested in coding, but I was intimidated by the idea of learning it on my own. However, SheCodes made it easy and accessible. The course was well-structured, and the instructors were knowledgeable and patient. The lessons were broken down into manageable segments, making it easy to understand and apply the concepts. Additionally, the practice exercises and projects were challenging yet rewarding, providing ample opportunities to apply what I had learned.

I absolutely loved the workshop, as a person that had never had contact with any type of programming language. The tasks were really easy to accomplish, the videos easy to follow and direct, the material accessible, and also the channels of support much dedicated.
Thoroughly enjoyed this course and has given me a really good starting base to develop my self education. Although I struggled at first it became easier to pick things up over the 3 weeks. I'd recommend this to anyone and look forward to doing another course in the future.

I was a bit worried at first because I wasn't sure if I wanted to pursue a career in coding however, SheCodes helped me realize that I do enjoy coding and I don't regret my career choice.

I learnt a lot during the last 3 weeks and one thing that stayed consistent in my mind was that coding is all about practice and having patience. It's refreshing to see an instructor not push you but encourage you to do more even though your work might be flawed. Thank you for this experience.

This first class was definitely difficult but once you get the understanding of what you're doing and practice it becomes much easier. I love it. A very well dictated course where you feel that you advance quickly but at your own pace at the same time. I was able to build a landing page in only three weeks even though I knew nothing about coding before starting the course.

Before joining SheCodes, I had no idea what coding was. And because of that I anticipated it would be challenging to learn or even understand, but Matt made it simple to comprehend. All I had ever known was science, and I never in a million years imagined that I would be here today writing code. I can state with confidence that I know what HTML, CSS and Javascript basic is and I can create websites, not yet professional, but I do know a few things. All I can say is that I'm eager to study more and develop my skills because the future looks too promising. Who knows, maybe I, a South African woman, might return and claim that I also work for Google. Crazy right!
