I had 0 experience with coding nor do I have a tech background. But was very interested in learning how to code. This beginner workshop was very helpful and the lessons were straightforward with useful information. The homework helped pull everything together. The project at the end was fun and gave me a chance to create something with everything I have learned thus far. Iβm hoping to dive deeper and learn more!

After I was finished with SheCodes Plus I moved on to React.js and it was more challenging than I thought it would be (the good kind luckily). Now that I know the basics I am excited to see where my next stop is going to be, hopefully I'll be able to find a job that's going to help me to grow more as a front-end developer. I'm thankful for this opportunity!

I don't think I could've acquired the coding knowledge and skills I now have without SheCodes. Bachelors degrees and intense bootcamps would have overwhelmed me, while SheCodes did well to nurture my learning in a non-threatening or overwhelming environment. It lets you choose how fast you go. One of the standout features of the She Codes Basics course was its strong emphasis on hands-on learning. As someone who was primarily focused on back-end learning, it was refreshing and incredibly valuable to visually see the impact of my code in real time. It was good
I started with SheCodes Basics and thoroughly enjoyed this add-on portion. I learned a lot in a short amount of time. The content was extremely helpful and the assignments and project were a lot of fun. You get to practice invaluable skills that you will want to keep using.

I had a hard time on java script lesson 10 and 11. I need more training in that area; other than that I enjoyed learning how to code.

SheCodes is the best coding website I have come across that teaches coding skills to busy women like me. I have always had the desire to learn coding but that desire was always surmounted by fear. I already had some knowledge in HTML/CSS/JS before starting the SheCodes Basics because of which I was able to complete the workshop within a week. Got to learn a lot of new techniques. Wish that I'd known about SheCodes earlier, I would highly recommend these workshops to anyone. Matt teaches every hard thing in a simple way. Mucho helpful resources are provided. Challenges next to each topics were actually interesting which doesn't make me sit still just by watching the tutorials.
Software Development has always been associated with being a male dominated industry. Although it has always been my passion, I never took it seriously, until I came across SheCodes. To know that I'm catered for and I'm not being prejudiced made me feel comfortable with taking that leap and pursuing my dream. SheCodes has changed my life.
I enjoyed my introduction to the coding-world at SheCodes. It has been challenging but also a lot of fun. The program is easy to follow and the instructor Matt makes the lessons enjoyable. I come from a background in the healthcare system and therefore coding was intimidating at first. But i'm amazed at how much i've learned in such a short period of time. I'm excited to learn more and hopefully make this into an IT-career in the near future.
