I never imagined learning how to code would be this easy. I had this idea that coding is only for people with a background in computer science but I'm so glad I was wrong. I am definitely continuing with the next workshops!!

Great course on how to make websites responsive.
SheCodes React workshop, personally, has been the most challenging one for me. But Matt made lessons very understandable. It took a lot of patience and perseverance. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work on such an insightful workshop. This workshop has been packed with relevant and important lessons.
I've always wanted to learn how to code and build websites but I was never able to find a reasonably priced and fun course that I could stick to. That all changed when I found Shecodes. I have had so much fun and learned a lot in just a few weeks. The interface is appealing and easy to use and I really like the fact each class requires you to immediately put what you learned into practice. This really helped new principles stick. I am looking forward to completing the next workshop!
SheCides has been the best. I absolutely recommend it to anyone who doesnβt know anything about coding and best believe you will eventually learn everything.

Just completed the Basic workshop and I highly recommend it to anyone either who is new or already have coding experiences. I do have web development experience but I was not thought as detailed as what SheCode teaches and I am really satisfied with how much understanding that I received by the end of this workshop π
I would recomment this workshop as it gives good explanations of API usage and using GitHub in a real app context which is really helpful to build knowledge.
I am super thankful that I enrolled for this course. It has been an interesting and challenging experience altogether. Special thanks to the team for this opportunity to learn coding basics.

I am really appreciative that I had the chance to enrol in SheCodes. It was a fantastic experience that made learning the principles of coding interesting and enjoyable. I didn't have much expertise with coding before SheCodes. The idea of learning to code has always scared me, but SheCodes made it fun and simple. The instructors are constantly ready to assist you if you run into difficulties, and the lessons are easy to follow and well-paced. I adored the fact that SheCodes is a group of women who encourage and support one another. Throughout the programme, I made a tonne of new friends, and we all supported one another's development. I was able to create my own website and web application by the end of SheCodes. I couldn't have done it without SheCodes, and I was incredibly pleased of what I had achieved.
SheCodes has been an amazing experience! The courses are informative, interesting, and a great way to learn. I've learned so much in a short amount of time, and I'm excited to continue my coding journey with SheCodes.
Lessons are short and to the point, practical coding. One can see the results as the lesson progresses. Even though there's a deadline, one can get extensions, which gives one the opportunity to go through the lessons again and again in case you forget something. As a starting point, would highly recommend this.
Very useful add-on that teaches you how to work with the Moment.js library! Moment.js makes it easier to work with dates and timezones.
I enjoyed every moment of this course. I am not the most computer literate person, so as basic as the course may seem, it was fairly challenging for someone like me. However, I was dedicated and committed to pushing through. I am confident that has been a valuable means of expanding my skill set and I cannot wait to begin the SheCodes Plus Workshop.
SheCodes Plus definitely was a challenge in comparison to the previous course. I enjoyed it though! I am learning so much and I know I wouldn't have been disciplined enough to get this far on my own. Thank you, so much Matt and SheCodes crew! For anyone considering Plus, my best advice would be to make sure you set aside at least an hour or two every day to work on your project. I got behind by trying to do the week's worth of work in one night a few times.

I really like the structure of SheCodes: first a video lesson, then a chance to practice, often using code snippets or tools that weren't covered in the video so we get used to accessing external resources. I'm already looking forward to the next course!

This was the most clear guidance on making an app from start to finish and tips on designing and replication. It really helped me understand what I needed to do to get my desired look.

She Codes Add-ons have been an extension and practice to my new learning. I am starting to see some of the building blocks finally taking shape.
I started with SheCodes Basics about 7 months ago, I wasn't too sure how my journey was going to be, coming from the fashion and sales industry. All I can say, am I glad that I embarked on this journey because I am now clear on the career path I want to take. I went from thinking that I couldn't grasp the concepts to being confident in my ability to build something from scratch. I have found myself enjoying the problem solving process and building my apps. I have no doubt that I will be back on here again sharing a career testimonial within 2024! Thanks Matt and team

The course was easy to follow and thorough. I feel like I received a great base that I can now build on.
I just completed the basic front-end course, and I have to say it was a nice experience. The content was well-structured and easy to follow, even for someone with minimal prior knowledge in web development. The instructors were knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining concepts in a simple and understandable way. The hands-on exercises and projects were especially helpful and fun, as they allowed me to apply what I learned in a practical context.
I never knew i could come this far in coding. All thanks to Matt and the entire SheCodes team. Going through Shecodes Responsive training was a thrilling experience which has made me more grounded in coding.
React is difficult to learn. I appreciate that this project used multiple components of React to build on learning from the last module.
I really enjoyed coding. I am proud of myself for taking the chance on myself to get it done. I have always been interested in it but was too scared to try. Matt & the team with SheCodes made this a breeze. The lessons are easy to understand and walks you through everything. I would definitely recommend it.

I went to tertiary to study BSc Computer Science and I finished my degree without understanding anything, everything was all about scramming and passing but since I started SheCodes everything is better and clear, I can proudly say I know how to code. Thank you Matt for the wonderful teachings.

I recently completed the SheCodes online programming course, and my experience had both positive and negative aspects. The course is beginner-friendly and offers a supportive community, but I felt it lacked depth in content and was kind of limiting in its scope. It's a suitable starting point for complete beginners, but may require supplementary resources for a more comprehensive understanding.
I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to start a career in tech. SheCodes has taught me a lot about coding and I will definitely be joining more workshops.

The SheCodes Plus workshop really helped me to develop my coding skills even further! The use of JavaScript is way more intense in this one, but it shows how powerful and dynamic this language can be. As usual, it is also important to point out that it's always appreciated that Matt takes you step by step along the lessons, otherwise, those who are very new to coding (like myself) may lose their footing. But, even if that happened, a member of the team would always help me in Slack :) I learnt a great deal and had fun working towards my final project! I am so looking forward to start with the next workshops now so I can learn how to use React!

I had a lot of fun building this website and applying everything that I learnt into one project. It was quite challenging to learn all of the different frameworks but it was worth the time and effort to build the skills.
I started this workshop not knowing a single thing about coding and I can say with all honesty that it's taken me from a 1 to a 10. I will definitely be trying out another workshop to improve my skill setπ

Fantastic course, well paced with a plethora of information you can build on, its a practical learning course with a lot of examples and opportunities to build on understanding through independent studies. I feel much more confident about coding from this short course alone.
In summary, it was amazing!
When a cancer diagnosis turned my life upside down and I had to find my way back to life after treatment, this course was a glimmer of hope and helped me to believe in myself. The SheCodes Basics course was incredibly motivating and empowered me to start my coding journey. It made me realize that I want to make a career switch towards tech. I think the SheCodes Basic course is a wonderful option to get into coding, and you can tinker with your own projects with the new knowledge.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the Responsive Add-On course. I have learnt so many new techniques and had so much fun working on the project. I would highly recommend this course!

I've always heard that learning to programming is a little percent of courses and a huge percent of coding and practising. The best of SheCodes is that you can have boths.
