At first it seemed a little intimidating as I have never done anything of this nature previously. However, the teacher/instructor made understanding the coursework a lot easier with how everything was explained as well as the examples that were provided. I really enjoyed working through the work.

This course was short but very exciting for me. I learnt about new interesting features such as making grids, working with images and using HTML class manipulation to change the theme of a web page. I was so immersed in this project that I was curious to learn more on the external sources and kept improving it again and again. I came into this workshop knowing nothing about building websites, and by the end I was sitting devoting hours to coding and styling my own landing page. This workshop was fun, easy to follow, and a great introduction to coding! Thanks SheCodes!
Course syllabus got a little more advanced but Matt broke it down step by step for us to understand better. Highly recommend this course to those with an interest in learning python on a deeper level!
A good workshop that provided me with further insights into my learnings from the Basics workshop. It gave me the opportunity to refresh what I learned and take it many steps further in terms of polishing my skills in css, html and JavasScript. I liked that the workshop was project focused so you got the chance to work on the same project over several lessons and see your work evolve.
This program is amazing! I noticed that the lessons were well thought out. The transition between lessons are very seamless and you won't get overwhelmed by the content most especially if you're a beginner.

Enjoyed coding and learned to use API integration to build a functional project. Courses material were structured well, learned the workflow on deploying a project, from planning to structure to development. I enjoyed learning how to overcome the errors and learn to understand the importance proper structure of codes for quick troubleshoot.
At a glance, Python can seem intimidating, but once you learn to read and code Python, it's really beautiful and fun. Matt is an excellent teacher and communicator and has made the learning process less stressful. I love that I can see that I'm surrounded by other students, so I don't feel alone in the journey.
Completing the Responsive course was a transformative experience in my journey as a web developer. The culmination of this course was the creation of a fully functional, multi-page website, which allowed my to apply everything I had learned - from responsive design and CSS utilities to SEO best practices and deployment on Netlify. The hands-on approach and structured curriculum provided by SheCodes enabled me to build confidence in my skills and has prepared me for real-world projects. Definitely a challenging course, I feel it took me a lot of time to understand some parts which could have been explained better. Going back to work on the weather project was not the best in terms of motivation, I would have preferred doing a different work. But overall there is a lot to learn for sure.

Highly recommend! The structure of the course is perfect. First becoming a little familiar with React before jumping into creating a React project in VSCode allowed for a smoother introduction to React. I liked that it was a similar project to the SheCodes Plus weather app but in React. This made the differences and possibilities of React much more noticeable and it made it easier for me to understand React and to apply it to other projects. Great course and I am excited to continue learning. :D
This was a great supplemental course to the Basics, as it built on the previous lessons and further explored CSS/HTML/JS.

My second week with SheCodes was just great! We dove deeper into JavaScript, and already then I could tell how much I'd learned and grown from this experience. Engaging lessons with just the right balance of fun and challenge in the challengesβwhat more could one want? Building my first interactive web elements was really a fun experience. The team behind SheCodes and the community were very supportive, and whenever I had questions, really fast responses appeared with useful information. Week 2 really cemented my love for coding and gave me plenty of confidence in working with projects that are a bit more challenging.
