Matt takes his time to teach the course effectively. I'm still adjusting to adding script on the HTML file as JS, CSS and HTML should have its own files. This should be something already taught at the beginning of this coding bootcamp. The projects offered are fairly easily to complete, which is good for beginners.
The material was presented in SUCH a digestible way! It was straightforward enough to understand, but not so simple as to be boring. And there was just enough of a challenge that I had to Google things. A engaging and educational workshop!
This add-on workshop was very intense, but also very invaluable. Learning the benefits of react.js, along with how to combine multiple API integrations into 1 application opens the door to countless possibilities! I can't wait to apply everything I learned here and create my own website. Completing this course is an achievement in itself and the webinars along with the exercises made it possible, so thank you for providing me with the building blocks!
The Shecodes Basics workshop is fun!! Easy enough to understand, with a few challenges along the way to keep it interesting.
Really good, was tricky at some parts (which is to be expected), learning different techniques including advanced ones but the pride and excitement I felt once my project was complete and fully working made it all worth it.
After just three weeks in the SheCodes Basic Workshop, I can now code an interactive landing page using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript! This project was definitely one of the more challenging ones, but Iβm proud to say I was able to push through and finish it. Itβs been quite a rollercoaster of a learning experience, with both moments of frustration and victory. Throughout the process I gained a deeper understanding of JavaScript, especially when it comes to manipulating the DOM, and working with APIs. The lessons were incredibly valuable, and I feel like Iβve absorbed a lot of the content. However, I know this is just the beginning and so Iβm excited to continue my learning journey with JavaScript and tackle even more complex challenges ahead.

Never give up. Keep coding and when I face a roadblock I took a break away from coding and look at it from a fresh start to follow through. The key for me was to replay the lessons few times and follow exactly as shown.
I would definitely recommend this course, it is quite challenging but it gives a great learning experience.

It has only been 3 weeks but i feel like I have learned so much. I am able to correct my mistake and I love and enjoy build pages.
The course and the process of coding is gradually solidifying itself as an active interest in my life. I enjoyed the challenges and the self-paced learning environment that allowed me to learn new skills and polish old ones. I give myself frequent refreshers in areas I am still struggling but I have no need to worry as the SheCodes team and my fellow learners are always supportive.

Another great two week workshop from SheCodes. I love that every session in the workshop is provided with clear and hands-on instruction. The Responsive Add-on has helped me to understand more about creating responsive websites for all screens. The step-by-step guidance made concepts easy to understand. I have learnt some valuable skills which I look forward to using in future projects.

I learned about how API's work with JavaScript and how to host/deploy GitHub projects using Netlify which is actually not as complicated as i thought.
Building the AI Travel Itinerary Generator was an enjoyable project, allowing me to create an intuitive tool for personalized trip planning. Integrating SheCodes AI for itinerary generation and adding a typewriter effect enhanced the interactive experience and deepened my learning. This project helped me understand the importance of a smooth UX and clean design.

I have always loved the SheCodes courses and I will never provide less than a 3 because this might be the only site that provides a lesson and homework and that works best for my learning style but I wasn't super impressed with this course. The final project was fully provided. I looked at multiple students solutions available through slack and besides a few extra comments, it was exactly like the answer provided in the video. While I might have understood the content more after watching each video, there wasn't room for figuring it out on our own. There are also mistakes throughout the course and notes that aren't relevant to that particular content. I feel like this was thrown together because people had been asking for a python course but you can tell from previous courses and certain references to material in this course that Matt is super knowledgeable in Java and also lacks in his python skills.
I enjoy very much this worshops as they very usefull and easy to learn.

I had a fantastic experience with the SheCodes basic workshops! The challenges were engaging and really pushed me to grow as a junior coder. Matt's explanations were clear and approachable, making complicated topics easy to understand.
Python Basics workshop was interesting! I learnt a lot about Python fundamentals, including strings, variables, data types, loops, conditions - knowing how they work and how they can be manipulated. Building the weather app on Python was a challenging yet exciting exercise - Matt was really good in breaking down the process which made it easy to understand and follow through. I am confident that my knowledge of Python will improve when I undertake the Python Plus workshop.
This was an amazing workshop where I learnt beginner coding in an understandable way. Matt Delac does an amazing job of demonstrating a skillset and allowing room for students to expand on this basic understanding and add their own unique final touches to their programmes; this in turn instills confidence and makes coding an exciting process where you can expand your horizons with user experience and aesthetics for the creating process of your website.

Using a different API (SheCodes Weather API) from the one shown in the videos made the learning curve steeper, but I appreciate that because we had to think for ourselves - like we will in the real world. I decided not to follow Matt's coding/file structure on the videos exactly, implementing my own ideas and trying to find solutions by myself. This meant I felt blocked a few times, but the support available on Slack is incredible. Thank you!
