This was a great experience! A nice bite-size introduction to front-end coding.
Let me start off by saying that this experience learning from Shecodes has changed my life forever! I was never that kid who loved the computer growing up; that was my younger sister. I studied music while she went on to become a successful Program Developer. I would always watch her work and felt like it was too hard for me to ever understand; coding was out of my league. When I saw this opportunity come up, I became excited. I started reading all the stories of people who changed their careers after taking the classes and knew I wanted the same opportunity. I started with the basic introductory video, and I was HOOKED!! I found myself talking to anyone who would listen about my Shecodes experience. I called my sister, and she was so excited for me. I was asking questions about coding and weβre bonding even closer because of it. Learning something new, especially at an older age can be frightening. Iβm telling you that Shecodes is an experience that every new student should experience. Matt does an incredible job explaining the details so when its time to show your work through homework, you feel confident. Idk what more I can say than WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR = SHECODES IS THE PLACE TO BE! LETβS GO
The Weather App Project was superb! I enjoyed every homework and it was a great challenge to work with JavaScript & API calls. 1000% recommended π€

SheCodes Basics is a great course for making an introduction to the world of front-end development. Especially when you donβt really know what the essence of the profession is and what tasks you will have to solve in the process of work. In one learning space, you can learn the basics of not only html and CSS, but also JavaScript too. A cycle of short lessons prevents you from overloading your brain and getting confused when learning a new material. I want to thank the SheCodes team that allowed me to take the SheCodes Basics course.
Π’ΠΎ be honest I was never attracted by computer, video games or IT. It was always an extra effort for me. Something that I need to do, rather than want to. But with time I have realised that IT sphere is impossible to ignore in our times. It covers all the areas of our life, personal or professional, and in the end makes our lives more easier. So I have decided that I need to change my attitude towards it because whenever I will work I'll certainly need to deal with one or another side of IT. And here I have heard about Shecodes. At first, I was pretty sceptic about the course but I gave it a chance. And have never regretted it. It helped me to make my transition possible by making coding accessible, fun and rather easy to understand! And the team as well as the whole community were super helpful when I was stuck. So if someone wants to dive into coding from level 0, I can't imagine a better platform to do it!

I thought coding is extremely hard and requires to have special skills, but SheCodes made the learning process detailed, user-friendly and simple for understanding.

React was definitely more difficult than the rest of the sections, but was definitely worth it, and Matt made it easy to follow along. I'm incredibly glad I did this course, as it's taught me a lot, now hoping Ill be able to get a job from this.
Programming was something I never saw myself capable of doing. I had mistaken ideas about my suitability for it that were dissolved by Matt's first introductory session, ie the day I became obsessed with wanting to code. The SheCodes Basics Course has motivated me everyday to learn, practice and understand better. The lessons are clear, the challenges and homework concretise the knowledge gained and are challenging enough without being daunting! The team is on hand always to help out, and the female community is absolutely fantastic and so encouraging.

SheCodes Basics is a great learning program for someone completely new to tech or new to coding like me. So far I never interest with tech and I really have no idea what is coding. Thank you very much for this opportunity to learn HTML. I did not think it could be so easy and fun. Lessons and tasks are very understandable, despite the fact that English is not my native language.
After the beginner's course, I made sure that this area was interesting to me. The basics of html, css and javascript are presented in an accessible form. For the past two weeks, I haven't even been distracted by movies or TV series. I look forward to the beginning of the next level.

Very intense workshop which allows you to make real things, like Weather or Dictionary Apps, in a pretty short time. I must admit it has been the most challenging SheCodes workshop, took a lot of time and effort to sort out the information and understand the occurring errors along the way.
I enjoyed the learning process. The material is presented in an accessible and understandable way. I really want to continue my education.

This workshop is much more involved and difficult than the previous. HOWEVER, it is also so empowering! SO much to learn but the feeling of accomplishment after you grasp a concept is out of this world. You'll get addicted to coding after taking this course!
Came in knowing not a whole lot about coding, but after just the introduction workshop, I have gain a new skill that I will continue to use. I will continue using the skills I learned and will hopefully get to do all the workshops!! So happy I found this when I did!

SheCodes Plus was a great course! It was more challenging, but still really doable! It was easy to follow Matt's instructions and having to apply it to your own project. Ofcourse, sometimes I struggled a bit but that is exactly what you need when you are learning a new skill. I loved working on an actual real-life project, while learning to use a professional way of setting up a new programming project.

It was a pleasant jump into a world I did not know and did not know could interest me. The lessons delivered clearly and it was a super good experience for me :)
The concept of coding terrified me to a certain degree. I was debating whether I should even get into the field of programming. Yet, I knew if I didn't take action now, I would regret it later. I've always been iffy about major life-changing decisions and the outcomes they will have later in my future. Therefore, I decided to take charge and not overthink it if I genuinely wanted to achieve in life. I took that step and joined SheCodes! At first, I was overwhelmed with fear and failure, but I saw how easy-going each lesson was as soon as I started the program. I am very content with how far I made it! So, if you're debating whether you should join SheCodes, remember to think about how this will benefit you later on!
It was really fun learning new stuff. I feel like it let me open myself up to new opportunities and express my creativity in a way I've never tried before. Definitely gonna come back to learn more.
At first two class were easy i not going to lie some of the class were a it hard. but it helped be find videos that explain some of the topic's from the class which it helped doing the class.

Before shecodes, I thought that coding is too boring. But now Iβm having fun here and learning new sophisticated things.
It was really fun and I learned a lot. I was a bit scared of Javascript at the beginning but turns out it's actually not that complicated if well explained :)
I barely knew anything about coding before this workshop, but now I understand much more and feel less intimidated. The way the workshop is set up (with lessons, challenges, homework) and how it's completed in your own time is super helpful. Shecodes taught me so much in these three weeks, I'm new to pc, I only just got one two years ago. But I knew I wanted to learn coding at first I was afraid being so new to computers, But Matt explained everything so well it almost felt easy (almost)π

The course is super easy to follow as all the lessons are split into easily digestible sections + it includes practical challenges, which in my opinion is the best way to learn! It's been really interesting to get a peak into what front end development consists of, would definitely recommend this course!
The basic course is just great. Everything was clear and cool to me, that there was nothing superfluous. I had a lot of fun coding and recommend everyone to feel the same.
You learn quite a lot in the time given and the exercises each lesson/homework each week allow you to practice what you've learnt.The process was enjoyable, even during the times I struggled, because it allowed me to really challenge myself and experiment with what I had learnt. A challenging workshop but definitely worth the work--especially when you look back at the end and see all you've done.
It was so much fun learning to code with the help of Matthiew, he is an excellent teacher and made the process so fun!

"Wow, very sophisticated, very powerful and very tricky!" - that's what I thought every single day learning React. I found the explanations a bit too fast from time to time but with a little research I was able to figure it out. Even though, I think that React is not really for me, as always the course gave me lots of interesting and fascinating insights into the world of coding which I value a lot, just like my whole coding journey - so thanks a lot, Matt and the SheCodes team π!

This course was much more straightforward and easy to understand than using functions and JS. It was cool being able to build my own website at the end also. I learned a lot!

I am a person who NEEDS projects and homework and deadlines to make progress and focus on learning. The chosen projects are clever in that it gives an opportunity to learn and apply new skills. Each component of the final project makes sense with minimal repetition of focus tasks.
Here is my last Project with SheCodes React. It's been AWSOME to learn and do so much in all these projects. Thank your to SheCodes team for all the support and I'd like to encourage all of you thiunking about making this change, it's worthy and I can say that this open my eyes to a new path and I'm loving it.

Workshop is very good. All information is presented clearly and concisely. Important topics for the developer are touched. And after three weeks you can already create your website not only with HTML and CSS, but with JavaScript interactions.
