I loved this workshop! Thanks to SheCodes Basics I know that coding is something I want to pursue. Matt's videos are clear and easy to follow. If you aren't sure whether coding is for you, I'd definitely recommend to give it a try.
I really enjoyed all the SheΠ‘odes courses. The last one (React.js) was not easy, but still very interesting. I plan to continue making sites and work in this direction. SheΠ‘odes workshops were a very good start for me. Of course, you need to spend a lot of time on self learning, but with the course it is much easier.
I really enjoyed this workshop! I got to learn just enough to know if coding is something I want to pursue, and I do! Matt's videos are thorough but easy to follow. Also, when I joined slack, the team members were friendly! If you aren't sure whether coding is for you, I highly recommend that you give it a try! ^-^
I'm so excited to have finished my second workshop so far SheCodes Plus. The courses were challenging yet easy to follow because they were explained so thoroughly. This course was great and I'm so eager to start SheCodes Pro to continue learning and enhance my skills.

Like my boy in that one vine once said - "That was legitness". This is my third workshop from SheCodes and once again my guy Matt killed it with the video lessons. My ADHD brain has no problem following each video because Matt is great at explaining concepts clearly. I appreciate the structure of the workshops. I'm able to balance working full time and completing homework each week without feeling overwhelmed. Bibleβπ½.

Loved SheCodes! It was a perfect intro for a busy mom because the videos were short - sweet - to the point and then they were followed with a challenge to use the topic just learned. It was so helpful to immediately apply the lessons as it demanded focus and didn't allow multi-tasking. Which most of us are guilty of!

This part of the workshop was much more challenging and some lessons were even difficult to grasp but it was very well explained, I only had to watch the lesson again and practice to get the handle of it. It all felt very rewarding by the time I finished this project. Highly recommend this! Support has been amazing.

Highly recommend this workshop to everyone! I find React more interesting and fun as I learn through the lessons. I've gained more knowledge about how React works with the advanced features. The workshop are definitely challenging sometimes but with all the resources and help that you can get from online and Slack, I find it very rewarding when I was able to figure out the codes and debug the errors.

I have been trying to find a coding course that i could stick to for about a year now. This. course doesnt waste your time on tangents, its all actionable items. I love thatafter each day you have skills that you can demonstrate. Highly recommend, and SheCodes radio is 10/10 as well.
Really enjoyed the course! Matt is a great instructor building up the content just in the right way for us to process all the new information and motivating us all the way through. As someone who had absolutely no prior knowledge about coding this course has been super insightful. The weekly homework, Slack support, and the SheCodes team were also huge plus! This was the first workshop I did, I will also be doing the rest of the workshops that come with Pro. I will say that I knew HTML and CSS before joining the course but I always struggled wrapping my head around Javascript. This workshop gave it to us in bite-size easy to understand pieces and I really think this time around I will soon be called the Javascript master.
I am looking forward to be frontend developer someday soon.
I have had a great experience building Weather and Dictionary App. React is pretty advanced stuff and I spent hours finding the best appropriate solutions for the projects. The tasks were rather brainstorming and challenging. But I managed to cope with them. Thanks to SheCodes!

I feel like I learned a lot, however nothing is very taught in depth After the HTML and CSS weeks I did the FreeCodeCamp challenges and felt like I was way better prepared However, Matt explains things really well and gives great tips on how to be more efficient while coding, I just wish the lessons had more depth and more small challenges.
Just finished the first workshop π! I loved every minute of it, it was so much fun and interesting. Matt is a wonderful teacher and so understanding. Looking forward to start the second workshop π©βπ»

This basic course is insightful and offers taste of what programming is. It is fairly easy to learn through the videos recorded by Matt. I think that the course is well structured and leaves room to do research on your own.

The Responsive course was quite challenging as we got more into depth of web-development. However, the videos and slack channel helped me overcome my problems!

This basic course is insightful. Through his teaching videos Matt takes you by the hand and introduces you step by step to the coding world. The SheCodes team is very supportive and quick. I completely recommend the SheCodes Plus workshop to everyone.
One of the most complicated topics for me, but I genuinely like this technology. There are a lot of mini details, so it remains to us how important to write pure and accurate code from the start of the work. I see a lot of work for myself to be a perfect coder, but I think I'm on the right way.

Another great learning process on coding in the React workshop. Getting to know different way of coding and gaining more knowledge of more advanced features. Quite challenging sometimes but with all the available resources, this made the self-learning process possible.

I haven't played around with HTML or CSS since making MySpace skins as a teenager. This course was a great refresher to dust off those skills. And I learned a brand new skill with the introduction to Javascript. The lessons were short and straightforward so the time commitment was very reasonable while working fulltime. The challenges for each section helped you build off of each previous lesson, showing how HTML, CSS and Javascript can be used in conjunction. Highly recommend for beginners and those who need a refresher!
I was a bit nervous at first trying to learn a new language. I guess with repetitive steps it helps me feel a little more confident toward my next assignment. I honestly hope I am able to keep up with all these new terms . I'm sure if I keep putting my head to the zone, it will all come into place. Also, as a parent and working at night, it makes it a lot easier for me to have my time to truly understand the step by step process from these workshops. Thank you!
Before starting SheCodes, I had ZERO experience in coding. During my multi-week search to find a source that would teach me coding well, but would also hold me accountable to assignments at a comfortable pace, I finally decided to go with my gut and chose SheCodes. Matt does a great job explaining all the coding language while showing it on video. SheCodes also provides supplemental sources in the majority of the lessons if you want to learn more. Life itself has been very busy so that ability to be able to request for a deadline extension was a very nice touch to the course, as this came in handy for me. If I was every stuck on an assignment, every question I posted on Slack was answered within 12 hours. Overall, I definitely enjoyed this course and would like to move forward to the next workshop!
Coding is proving to be quite challenging, but with the step-by-step teaching style as well as plenty of projects to apply everything you learn as you go, it doesn't feel too overwhelming.
It was a great decision to choose the course, I discovered that it is an area that I really like and I hope to continue progressing and advancing.
As a coding novice, SheCodes Basics has given me sufficient knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to comfortably create a page from scratch.

These workshops are amazing. Before I started learning to code with SheCodes, all this looked complicated and intimidating to me. Thanks to SheCodes, I saw that coding is interesting and exciting. It's not always easy, sometimes like a puzzle. But it's not scary anymore. It's very fascinating. The more new information I get during my studies, the more confident I feel in front-end coding.
I learned a lot from this workshop and enjoyed learning how to code. It was very easy to follow as a beginner and I would highly recommend!
These classes are fun, and they can be a little frustrating but stay with it and you will see the light at the end.
