This is a great workshop to combine all of your previous knowledge and to actually use it. And of course to learn about SEO and Responsive. Loved to make the final project for this workshop and I'm going to definetely improve it with time.

I highly recommend this course to everyone, who wants to learn coding with lots of fun challenges and useful projects. it is the best coding workshop that I've ever seen. and I really enjoyed this course.

Im grateful that I joined this course and got a chance to learn something I never believed I could.

Thanks SheCodes, I have really gotten so much out of this program. It helped me to get into further coding studying at a university and a digital jobs program through the government in my country. I'm really excited about everything that I learned, and I can't wait to keep learning more. I appreciate the style of teaching, the supportive teachers in Slack, and I'm shocked at what I've been able to build in just a few short months, and the way that this has allowed me to springboard into understanding more complex courses and code. I never would have dreamed what I have created would have been possible for me, thank you.

Highly recommend this course to everyone, who wants to learn coding in an interesting way! Lots of explanations, exciting tasks - it is the best coding workshop that I've ever seen 😉

This course pushed me in a way that was super satisfying. I've learned a lot!! I enjoyed it so much that I finished ahead of schedule and I love that I was able to do it at my own pace. I found it really interesting watching Matt code and I think it's great that he didn't edit out his little errors so we can see him correct them. I feel proud of my little weather site and am super excited to jump in to the next certificate!

Being a complete novice to coding, this course was quite overwhelming at first, taking me a lot longer than the suggested study time each week, however with lots of breaks and practice I was able to produce a some-what functioning page. Not the best or prettiest work but we all have to start somewhere! I have a much clearer understanding of behind the coding now, which was my ultimate aim!

This has been an excellent experience so far. I have a taken the basics, plus and responsive. Hoping to take React soon!

Very happy but more sad that the workshops are over. I completed all of them with a long break halfway through. React was the best workshop as it was a lot about advancing in front-end frameworks, structuring code and building something very interesting from scratch. The projects were the parts I enjoyed most as for me it is more important to have something to show instead of "just" a certificate. I felt guided and supported throughout the workshops with a great balance between autonomy and dependence. I really liked that Matt is so authentic when the code didn't work, e.g. "my god this is the kind of stuff you could spend hours on fixing this" made my day. 🥐🥰

Wow! its been an amazing Journey with SheCodes! React made me experience coding in another dimension. though i had to face some challenges and having to debug, but in the long run i had so much fun doing this! Joined SheCodes when my baby was just 3months, Am a proud nursing mum!

I'm so happy than I found a SheCodes School. Before I start my journey with codding I thought IT is very hard to styding and I need to have a special degree ,but now I understand it was a mistake! After FREE Coding Class I was so excited and start my road to IT. Tutorials are so interesting and have a lot of practise. I decided to continue my education with other workshops on SheCodes, get job in IT and improve my skills

Learning was easy to understand and I like the way how workshop was set up: learning by examples, lots of hints and useful links, tools, that I can already use.

I grew my skills and learned a lot about Bootstrap, Responsiveness, and SEO. Creating a portfolio was the highlight of the course.

Honestly this workshop was a roller coaster ride. It was tasking in some aspects, I won't lie. Overall, I really enjoyed building this weather app, and I'm extremely proud of myself and also grateful to Matthieu and the SheCodes team and also fellow coders for indirectly reminding me of the fact that I' m not alone and for encouraging me.❤

The React Workshop is Challenging but also very gratifying. I had a great time getting started in React and looking forward to continue on my own. The workshop provided alle the information I needed.

The lessons were well organised, and I really liked the self-paced nature. I also like that there were challenges along the way, because it really made you think about what you learned and apply it straight away. I would highly recommend this course for anyone thinking about learning to code.

SheCodes Basics was a great introduction to coding. I had tried another class previously, but struggled to gain momentum. The format of SheCodes, which broke each concept down and then allowed me the opportunity to practice using it, was very effective. SheCodes provided a great, easy but comprehensive, introduction to web development and several different programming languages. The lessons were very well-planned, in a way that was inclusive to people from different backgrounds and with varying levels of expertise. SheCodes Responsive has been a really valuable course to develop further skills in coding and learning the principles of responsive web development. SheCodes is a fantastic course! I learned so many things in the SheCodes Basics Course. The course is easy to follow and very manageable even while working a full time job and being a mom to a 5 month old baby. SheCodes beginner workshop was challenging yet doable, with resources like slack you can get help from other peers as well as professionals. Unlike a traditional class, SheCodes courses are simplified and broken down in such a great way, you don't even feel the time. I didn't think it'd be possible to learn so much in so little time, yet here I am, feeling more knowledgable than ever. Knowledge is power!

Since graduating college, I wasn't sure what to do as my career. SheCodes was a fun opportunity to learn a new skill in a new industry.

I had done a coding bootcamp before, but I felt that I never truly learned code. It was very fast and I didn't get much time to sit and play with it. This course helped me take the time I needed to understand and research what I was having a hard time with. I feel a lot more confident in my skills and am ready to keep challenging myself!

SheCodes and Matt offer excellent tutorials on how to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript, for beginners (like me) who have never coded or used coding languages before. The challenges and weekly homework really allow you to apply what you have learned so that you have a better understanding of the material. I am looking forward to continuing more SheCodes workshops in the future!

As you progress through the lessons, this gets more challenging and complicated at times but it's well worth it. I totally recommend it

This was an enjoyable beginner course! The modules are well proportioned and I really appreciated being able to reset my "start date" a couple times due to finals and other life things that came up.

It was interesting, fascinating and most importantly understandable. I'm glad I got into these courses because they are very suitable for starting.

I absolutely LOVED this experience! It was challenging but the needed support was provided through slack and cheat sheets. I loved the self-paced aspect of it. I love the challenges and appreciated the hands-on practice.

The Best courses

This workshop is a perfect way to get started with coding. It is very well structured and understandable. Being able to take the class and do homework flexibly was important to me, as I don't have regular work-hours. Having homework and deadlines helped keep me on track. Looking very forward to the next workshop!

I finally got to revive my curiousity for website creating, which I by mistake left behind in 2009. I've discovered that it is as exciting as I remember it. SheCodes is a really good resource with a simple but useful interface. It really is what you make of it. The more time you spend on it, the more you can discover and create.

I really enjoyed working on my portfolio project. Learning how to make websites responsive and seeing all the techniques come to life is so much fun. Thank you SheCodes!

I'm really enjoying learning something I never thought I could do. Matt's lessons take things step-by-step to help make learning easier in a way that is not overwhelming.

Following along with the video instructions was very easy. There were a lot of helpful cheat sheets, apps, links, and hacks provided. Beginners who are just getting started with programming should definitely give it a try.

I like how the course is planned and that you have the opportunity to do it in your own time.
