SheCodes has introduced the fundamental concepts of web development. I loved how all the lessons were formulated, and I found the practice exercises followed by each module to be very beneficial for my learning.

The SheCodes Basics Add-On is a great course to expand on the knowledge that you gain in the Basics course. I highly recommend this addition.
I've recently started this course and thought I'd struggle with two young kids and a full time job, but the content is in bite-sized manageable pieces so I can squeeze in half an hour when I need to. The content is also easy to follow with good challenges at the end to test your knowledge and really help commit the content to memory.
I am highly excited and am so happy and fortunate to have been part of this workshop it is one of my best experience this year. I had to take a bit of a break from coding due to real life getting in the way, and this course was just what I needed to get back into the swing of things. This was a really really great way to brush up on all the fundamentals that I learned in my other SheCodes courses, all whilst learning new techniques along the way. Looking forward to the other add on courses!

This course was excellent. The delivery of the course was engaging and extremely informative. It has kept me engaged and motivated me to advance further through this field in understanding and practical skills.
It was a well-designed course. Over the weeks I built my meteorology project, step-by-step, to understand and consolidate the given material. It was a more challenging course, I had an easier time with HTML5 and CSS3 than with JS. Along the way I had a mix of emotions, enthusiasm, and frustration, but in the end, it was enriching. Excellent work to the entire SheCodes team.
I've finished this week the SheCodes Basic add-on workshop, and even though it was a short one, I feel that I've learned some exciting designing tools with CSS and JavaScript that can really upgrade my websites. Highly recommended!

Working full-time, these lessons were very easy to incorporate into my busy schedule and I was able to learn & complete my homework without the pressure of an imminent deadline. The course is very well-structured and when followed as recommended, building knowledge of the coding languages was seamless.

I wanted to see what coding was about but there were many bootcamps to choose from and some seemed overwhelming. SheCodes Basics was affordable and it allowed me to learn and try basic coding. If you get stuck on a coding problem, SheCodes provides various types of help in better understanding and fixing the problem.
These weeks were very challenging, there are still many things I need to work on JavaScript, but I feel proud I got it until this point. I totally recommend going down this path, it helps you not only professionally, but personally, since you develop logic skills you could also apply on a daily basis. I will definitely continue with the next project to keep on improving my coding skills to hopefully boost my professional profile and get where I want to be. I really enjoy the part where I am coding and I can see it's working (it's stressful when it does not work LOL), but once you see the results, it's all worth it.
I really enjoyed this course and definitely taught me a lot on a subject I didn't think I would ever explore; I genuinely enjoyed coding and it was a fun challenge for me.
Even though my own circumstances became not ideal after the first week, I still enjoyed everything I learned in the course!

This is a very interesting course for beginners. At the end, you can make your own simple website. Homework gets harder each time and makes you look for ways to get things done. I recommend it!

I loved learning how to code with SheCodes! Since I've completed the previous workshops, I was so happy when the Max Workshop was added on.
I truly enjoyed doing the basics at Shecodes! I think it's a great course to understand if you really want to move forward to the more advanced one. The basics workshop was such an enjoyable experience and I learned so much in such a short amount of time. I really appreciated the chunked learning, the example-challenge-solution format and generally the explanations by Matt were super clear and accessible.
