This is the best coding workshop I've done. All of the videos were easy to follow and I now have a solid understanding of the basic functions of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
It's been so fun learning with SheCodes, I can't wait for the future to see what exciting projects I'll be creating next.
Coding the React dictionary App was another challenge that made me understand React better. The SheCodes workshop's have come to an end. Looking back, I have learned to code from scratch, thanks to Matt and his SheCodes Team! I keep referring new women to SheCodes. Especially trying to reach my Namibian people to join via the Delac Foundation.

As someone who started learning coding at 28 with zero knowledge, this step-by-step, simply explained course helped me learn about basics with joy and passion and it really built my self confidence as a beginner. I really appreciate the methodology and the way it was taught that made me fall in love with coding and get passionate about it.

It was practical
I managed to grasp very well all it takes to build a responsive Web Design using HTML and CSS to automatically resize, hide, shrink, or enlarge, a website, so my portfolio looks good on all devices (desktops, tablets, and phones).
As a person who doesn't have any coding background or experiences. I can say that this course helped me a lot. It might be confusing and challenging at first but soon enough you will get the hang of it. I will recommend this programπ
SheCodes Basic Add-on project was equal parts challenging and so rewarding! Through building projects and repetition, I'm not only getting adequate practice but also getting a deeper understanding of coding concepts. I can't wait to see what's next!

I took another coding course with a different company a few months ago, and this one blew it out of the water. It was using different programming languages so it might not be fair to compare, but all of the concepts were explained so well here that it actually felt easy from beginning to end.

I enjoyed the classes. While some of the lessons were refreshers, I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge during the 3 weeks. Even though I faced bouts of frustration, at no point, did I want to quit. I recommend this course!

I feel so accomplished after completing this workshop! I was doing the self-taught method for quite some time but SheCodes gave me the structure I desperately needed! SheCodes Responsive was the third course that I have taken through SheCodes. While this course was probably the hardest for me, it was the first time I have started to feel really comfortable with code. Learning how to make pages responsive will definitely translate in to a real world skill. Matt takes work that seems scary and unmanageable and breaks it down into digestible chunks, which really helps to boost your self-esteem! I am looking forward to the next React course.

This is a great course if you are a true beginner looking to research whether or not web development is something worth further pursuing. The course definitely tests your mental strength and endurance, but the results are rewarding when you execute the assignment and the final results mirror that of the examples.
I want to thank the SheCodes team for this great opportunity to study JS and React. This was pretty complicated journey but it was interesting, challenging and exciting as well. Now I'm really proud of myself and eager to learn programming languages even more deeply.

I learned how to code in a very simple way, which became a motivation to learn more about JavaScript.
I really liked the course! The only two things I'd personally like to see are: 1 - consistency in what's taught in the video vs what's in the assignment. A lot of the things we're supposed to do for homework wasn't taught in the video, or was taught another way, and the answer we're given is to just "google it." I know, but if we're spending $$$ on this course, this info should also be given to us on a foundational level so we know what to google in the first place, and 2 - I'd love to see more "practice projects" that we can do that aren't necessarily graded, but we can maybe submit in a different slack channel for our peers to weigh in.
The SheCodes Responsive workshop was fun and showed me that I don't always have to resort to bootstrap to get the look and feel that I desire from my projects. Looking forward to react!
It was such an interesting course! Every week it gets more and more interesting. It's amazing that I can already create websites by myself! Many thanks to the Matt Delac and SheCodes team, very well-coordinated work and the whole learning process is build informatively!

I did all the assignments for this course and I really enjoyed learning this course. The part I liked the most was learning to use API
I really enjoyed learning the basics of coding. The workload of the course, which was well-structured, was doable combined with work and childcare.
It was great but for a really beginner it takes absolutely more than 5 hours. Mostly the first week was hard with a full time job on a side.

Iβve already recommended this course to some of my friends. Everything is very well explained and we have assignments to put it in practice right away, which, for me, is a great way to learn. Iβm looking forward to the following lessons with Matt :)

I had zero knowledge of any languages covered in the basics program. It was simple enough to follow along with the videos, and I really liked having a challenge right after the explanation video to test what was just covered. It helped me to learn it on my own, and I now feel a lot more confident for the next workshop!
Starting to learn how to code with SheCodes was a very good idea for me. I like how the learning material is broken down into small lessons that are easy to follow. It really is a lot of fun actually!
Doing this was the first time I actually made a decision on my own and was able to have full control on how I preferred things. It made me realize that not only was this good for me to try a new thing, but it was a fun yet equally challenging experience that makes you want more.
