Using Shecodes has helped me to gain an understanding of basic coding and the importance of code. I've really enjoyed learning and completing all the challenges and want to continue to learn to code and to eventually break into the tech field.
The course content is outstanding, with expert instructors who make complex concepts easy to understand. The structure is well thought-out and includes hands-on exercises and projects, as well as a supportive and encouraging community.

I was so nervous about this course at first because computers are so intimidating but I love the way that Matt describes the concepts and gives us plenty of opportunities to practice everything we learn. SheCodes Responsive has been my FAVORITE course so far! Going from making single page websites to having a full blown site with multiple pages that responds to different screens and is optimized for Google SEO.... in about three weeks of full time work? I cannot recommend Matt and the SheCodes team enough!

I had a really great time learning HTML, CSS and JS in this workshop. I liked the assignments we got, they left us with full room for creativity and our imagination to design them the way we like. I loved how detailed the tutorials were, Matt is an excellent educator. Overall, this course really helped me learn something new without getting overwhelmed!

The SheCodes React course was the most difficult and I still have a lot to learn; however, it was informative and tons of fun building new sites. I hope to change careers in the near future. For anyone who wants to start learning code, this workshop is very interesting. You will be challenged with different exercises, and everything is well explained, homework and deadlines are good for keep focus. You can make your own portfolio.
I couldn't say how SheCodes can help you to improve your skills in programming and you can't imagine what a up to date techniques I have learned with it.
I have learnt a lot from this workshop the foundation of creating a website and I enjoyed every challenge and will make sure I pass the knowledge to others, and I am going to learn more about it as I would like to be a web developer.

It's a workshop that I would highly recommend for who wants to become/enter on the world's web developers. My next move is SheCodeMax :) But I would apreciate another one for not only Front-end, also for Back-end, that will be successful for sure!!!
Amazing learning a lot of new code. I especially enjoyed all the new tools we got to work woth during this course, that makes coding easier and more manageble. Weather forecast is maybe not what interests me the most, so in that sense the motivaton was not at its highets, but I very much enjoyed working with bootstrap and githup and learning to host webpages.
Basics Add-On project was very fun to do! This workshop taught me once again many new and useful skills. It was rewarding to notice that it was easy to learn new - like it was with Basics workshop.

I learned so much during this workshop. At times it got frustrating when I couldn't figure out what was going on and wished there was someone that was with me that could help me however I do have to say SheCodes team usually got back to me pretty fast. It's crazy how far i've come considering I didn't know a single piece of code when I started!

SheCodes is a great way to learn how to code to see if you would like to have a career in it or even to just learn for fun. They give you fun challenges and have a great support system if you're ever stuck or have any questions.
I always thought that coding would be too hard for me after having one coding course at the university a few years ago. However, Matt explains everything so well and in a simple way that i can't believe how fast you can learn and how interesting it looks now. I just feel like wanting to learn more and more.
SheCodes is a great program, I loved that we had access to Slack for help, and loved the pace and lessons as well!

It was incredible, interesting and difficult at the same time. Sometimes it seemed that I would not be able to cope, because this is my first experience in Java Script. But I managed, and did everything exactly as I had originally planned. I am extremely grateful for such a wonderful opportunity to gain new knowledge and develop professionally!

Before ,sheCodes i have always had a problem with responsiveness , i never just seems to understand how it works especially the media query . i always found a way to avoid working on the responsive part of a web App but now , thanks to sheCodes i understand how it works much better now
I'm so glad I also enrolled in the SheCodes Plus Add-on because I was able to learn and incorporate new forms with HTML and new user interactions with JavaScript. Specifically, how to build an application without the use of APIs but rather with the moment.js library.
Nice and detailed workshops, everything explained in a proper way so that there almost no reasons to encounter serious problems or even get stack. The project itself is interesting to do and also an extremely good experience, as we usually need to make portfolio for ourselves quite a lot. Thanks to the SheCodes for these nice lessons.
The lessons are bite-sized, easy to follow and digest, and work well for busy people. I will rate this five out of five! For me, it is perfect as it is :)

With the "Responsive Add-On" Workshop, I deepened my advanced CSS and vanilla HTML techniques, to create a responsive website without any framework. I highly recommend this coding class to anyone looking to advance their skills in web development!
Another exciting and challenging workshop! I really liked the Responsive workshop which made me able to build a portfolio that looks good on any device. Like the previous workshops every step is explained by Matt and you can check your progress through the challenges before writing the code for the final project. I can't wait for React now!
I never expected to be able to accomplish such a project! As a full-time worker, I had quite a few difficulties, but the flexibility of this course was perfect for me. I look forward to continuing with the next modules ๐

Great coding Workshop .
I decided to learn a new skill when I suddenly had a lot of free time on my hands due to an accident. It had always been an interest of mine, but I never really thought I would be able to understand coding, as it seemed really complex. SheCodes has taught me a lot in a very short time span. The tasks and lessons are short and therefore manageable. I really am enjoying this course!
I enjoyed this course. Realizing is not THAT hard. Of course requires time to understand all of the features. But realizing you got this. Everyone can do it. I feel proud that after years of saying I am not a tech person, now I know the very basics of coding!

The Plus workshop is a lot more advanced than the Basic one. However, if you put in the hard work it requires, you end up learning a lot more. Difficult at times, but the SheCodes team is always ready to help you solve certain problems you may come across.

I recently graduated from college in May 2022 and received my degree in Informatics with a concentration in Data Science and a certificate in Creative Writing and Technical Writing. After I graduated, I felt burned out from coding and decided to pursue my new grad career in UX Writing. I enjoy being a UX Writer, but I started to miss coding. Out of curiosity, I researched different boot camps, and they were all costly. I looked up boot camps that were good for women on TikTok and came across someone speaking about SheCodes. I was interested and went on the SheCodes website and was amazed at what the program offered at a lower price. I believed it would be a great way to get back into coding and go at it at my own pace. I am delighted with my decision to choose SheCodes.
I've enjoyed learning these past few weeks, the course was approachable enough even with no previous coding background. Now that I've got my feet wet in the subject I can't wait to learn more and move on to the next course.

I've learned so much in the past two weeks!! Java dealt with me, but Matt is a great teacher. He did a great job at breaking it down and making it as easy to understand as possible. I enjoyed the little activities after each lesson to practice what I've learned. And the final project for the Basics workshop was fun to do! Would highly recommend it, 100/10!!
