Hi I am one of the participants of SheCodes I applied and was answered a week later really I have now finished one workshop of sheCodes basics really I have learnt a lot from them now I am able to design a webpage in the way I want. Really it's amazing I like it, before I knew only little about html I didn't know about CSS and java script and now I can try and do more. It is quite a fun workshop right after the Plus workshop! It is great review of what I've learned so far to a much simpler project that can be familiarized with everyday use and curiosity. π

As a mom of two I found SheCodes Plus very challenging at times, and often frustrating just like Matt described, but in the end creating a weather app that works with real life data was an amazing feeling of achievement. I would highly recommend this workshop as the lessons are clear and concise, and you become a part of a community that's always ready to help. What I love the most? You get to learn at your pace, and if you need an extension or more time to grasp a lesson that is possible, its not like being in a classroom where you get left behind. The pace of this course was perfect for my needs and I learnt so much with Matt! The introduction to JavaScript was by far my favorite part because it was a bit challenging at moments, but that only encourages me to keep learning so I can gain even more experience and improve my coding skills!

I had already started a different SheCodes workshop but noticed that there was a new (to me) add-on. I quickly went back, took this over the weekend, and am so glad I did. It was exactly what a needed to refresh and reinforce my knowledge.
the program is hard and easy at the same time, the course work has been broken down in a way that a child would also understand. The Couse has all that is need to be successful in front-end and I can see myself using everything that I have learnt and how it can be applied to different projects in the future

Before taking this course I had heard many negative things about React. However, as soon as I started coding and completing challenges, I realized that React is much better than vanilla JS because there were no long codes anymore (which was annoying to me) and I was able to categorize different parts of my code (It's more concise and maintainable). The SheCodes React workshop was well-structured (as in previous workshops); with comprehensible and easy-to-follow learning videos, multiple challenges, and a practical final project (updating the weather app). I would like to thank the instructor, Matt, for his excellent teaching and guidance. I learned so much from this course and I am grateful for the opportunity to participate.

Difficult but interesting to see the difference between the different programming languages.
I have really enjoyed learning sheCodes basic. Matt is a good teacher and it is helpful to be able to pause the video/replay etc so I have time to write down notes.
Great Workshop
I am very proud of myself that I took this course of Coding without experience. Today I can build a responsive Website and host it to a live server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React with GitHub/Netlify.com. I've learn all this in the space of 6months with sleepless night with weekly assignment. Thank you Matthieu Delac for your help and always teaching us to take a break when we're stuck and SheCodes team for your assistance. React Application was very hard to work on but I kept going today done and dusted!
