Having done SheCodes Basic and having the means to compare the degree of complexity and what is now expected from us while doing the Plus homework projects, there is no doubt that there is a clear progression on the demand. However, i felt enthusiasted confident enough to keep myself motivated. It is getting more and more challenging but totaly attainable. Week after week, the programe and exercises are very well structured so we keep on going! Just great :)
Things became more challenging, but it has been fun trying to figure it out. I learned more, and took breaks instead of breaking my laptop 😅😅.

The past weeks l have been learning to code with SheCodes have been nothing short of extraordinary. I have learnt skills such as time management since the assignments have to be submitted after every week which allows for consistency and discipline. I love how the courses are grouped into short videos which are so easy to understand. With the help of Slack ,I have been able to correct my mistakes through the help of others. Slack has been a great instrument in teamwork and effective communication .I am so grateful to be a part of this opportunity.

In this workshop, I dedicated time to learning how to effectively use Bootstrap. Throughout the lessons I created a new portfolio website to reflect my growth as a developer. Since my career interests straddle web-development and content creation/ebook publishing, I created a portfolio to showcase both interests.

Very good, interesting and efficient points were taught in this course and I am very grateful to the course instructor who taught the material patiently and in full detail.
It was fun, frustrating, exciting and rewarding. I have new skills now! Google is your friend as well as MDN. The best lesson I learnt is that it's better to take a break and come back with fresh eyes than to be working and frustrated. A nap is not a terrible idea at all.
By no means was the Plus course easy to get through but I will say, it was 1 million percent worth it and as the previous Basics course proved, the lessons, challenges and projects were so amazingly put together! As challenging as it was, I really enjoyed growing my skills further and I can't believe I have been able to build my own weather app with a 5 day forecast from scratch after just 3 months of learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript - here's to more learning with SheCodes Max!
This project was a good exercise to put into practice the things learned during the SheCodes Responsive workshop. It allowed me to strengthen my coding skills and apply them in a real-world context. As a beginner Coder, I was expecting to enter the program and struggle almost instantly. However, thankfully and gratefully, it was not! The lessons are challenging but once you get the solution you're hit with an "ah-hah" moment and that's enough to fuel your motivation to learn more.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to get into coding. The course was well thought out, and highly instructional. I went from not knowing anything about computers to being able to basic code! Incredible and intense course, new topics and ways of doing things.
I was applying to college when unfortunately, the college I wanted to go to stopped taking secondary schooling students. So, when I started looking into other options. I remembered seeing a lot of She Codes adds a lot on YouTube a year ago and thought it was really cool, but I had other plans till I didn't. So, I looked into it. Surprised by how reasonable the prices were and read a bunch of reviews. And decided to just go for it. A leap that I'm glad I took. I really liked the pacing of the lessons and how I was able to fit them into my schedule while working full time. It was easy and hard at the same time, but I wrote a lot of notes. I found it really fun to tweak everything and kept having to remind myself when I got frustrated. That I only started learning a little while ago. But I kept at it and was surprised to see how much I learned in such a short time.

I went to school for frontend, but that was way to slow for me. With shecodes, I do exactly the same as I would have done at school. But at a faster pace, which I enjoy and which doesn't make me lose concentration so easily.
SheCodes is absolutely amazing for absolute beginners or anybody interested in coding. It was easy to understand, there are resource link provided at the end of the videos which is great incase you want to read more about it. The challenges at the end of every lesson ensures that you have grasped the concepts being taught. The fact that they don't readily provide solution is great because it builds up resilience and self reliance which is very much necessary if you want to take up coding professionally. They also have a great team on slack to help you out incase you need help.
