I really enjoyed learning the basic workshop it was exiting. i would really recommend it to anyone who is interested in coding, i cant wait for the next workshop.

This add on workshop was perfect for continuing my experience.

The course provided valuable content and it covered key concepts effectively. Although, along the way it was a little challenging to fully grasp complex topics.

Thanks to a scholarship from SheCodes, I delved deeply into CSS, HTML, and JavaScript, gaining comprehensive expertise. Guided by experienced instructors, I progressed at my own pace, tackling challenges and expanding my knowledge. This transformative journey ignited a passion for coding and equipped me with the skills and confidence to pursue a career in web development. Grateful for the opportunity, I'm now poised to make meaningful contributions to the tech industry.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics workshop. The deadlines encouraged me to be disciplined with my coding work and the assignments made sure to fill any gaps I had from each session. What a journey it has been! And I am saying this with so much excitement for wanting to know more that there is to know about coding. The road was not an easy one to travel, but trust me when I say, it is definitely worth every sleepless night, the high and low emotional turmoil, the screams that you make when that code finally works, it is amazing. This was an amazing introductory course into the world of trading. The videos and website made everything that much easier as all I had to do was follow along and listen intently. The instructor explained things in a clear and concise manner that made the learning that much more fun!

The SheCodes Basic Workshop just confirmed what I suspected: coding is so fun! 😁 Starting with Matt, who is an amazing teacher and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand, using examples that make the activities even more fun. The final project was my favorite part, when I could apply all my new knowledge using a topic I'm passionate about. As a marketing professional considering changing careers to tech, the workshop was the extra push I needed to believe I can actually do it. I'm very excited to do the advanced workshop soon!

Participating in the basics ad-on was a bit tough at first, but the challenges in each section have really helped me understand things better.

There's nothing more rewarding than the will to pursue self improvement. I love what I do as a medical Laboratory Officer, however, I feel the need to learn a completely new skill, a skill that I can eventually use to give back to my field in many ways as a software engineer. I started the SheCodes basics program about a week ago, but I have learnt so much about coding. Considering how little knowledge I had about coding before SheCodes and now, I think I am doing very well. I will forever be so grateful for such an opportunity, I cannot wait to see what is ahead.

Reflecting on my journey through this challenge. I am happy proud and in a bit of disbelief at how far I've come. This wasn't just about learning to code; it was about pushing my limits, juggling my life's responsibilities, and overcoming the voice in my head that often whispered, "Can you really do this?" My fascination with technology and the desire to deepen my understanding of it were the initial sparks that ignited this adventure. Yet, what carried me through was not just fascination—it was a gritty resolve to grow beyond the person who first looked at the bootcamp options and wondered if they were in over their head. From day one, it was clear this would be a marathon, not a sprint. I tackled each challenge with a mix of determination and humility, and SheCodes makes it easy to take the feat head-on. I have been interested in coding since a very young age. I didn't go into the tech direction when it was time to choose what university course I wanted to study but here I am many years later. I found SheCodes on the internet while I was looking for which bootcamp or coding workshop I should go for when I finally decided to pursue my passion. I loved the fact that SheCodes was all about getting more women into the tech space. I then took the free coding class by Matt and after completing it I knew that this was the right coding workshop for me. So far I have learned a lot and I am very excited for what’s to come!

I had so much fun learning about advanced JavaScript. It was a challenging yet a fun language to learn. I’m so happy to know how to call a function and happier to have gained knowledge about how that concept works. This workshop was with no doubt much more challenging than its predecessor. JavaScript demands a lot of thinking and comprehension of its concepts and this workshop does a good job to deliver such demands. I'm confident in the skills I've learnt in SheCodes Plus and I cannot wait to learn more exciting and challenging ones!
