Completing the basic coding course was an enriching experience that equipped me with fundamental skills and knowledge in programming. I loved learning to create a mobile responsive design and build SEO practices into my code! Building my portfolio was creative and will be a valuable project that I will use on my resume - this was definitely time well spent!
I have really enjoyed this workshop. I started it straight after SheCodes Plus and I really felt as though I was getting the hang of how the code fits together and what you need inside a function to get the program to do what you want. I cannot wait to start the next project now.

My favorite aspect of this workshop was the inclusion of challenges and homework, which significantly aided in reinforcing the newly acquired knowledge. Moreover, the self-paced nature of the workshop was a great advantage, allowing me to align it with my schedule, especially considering my responsibilities. The Slack channel also proved to be invaluable, providing a helpful resource whenever I felt stuck or needed assistance. I would undoubtedly seize the opportunity to enroll in the next workshop to further my learning. My primary objective is to enhance my skillset for the benefit of my future employers.

Deciding to learn how to code is by far the best decision I've made thus far, I have never been this excited to learn something. I really enjoyed the basics workshop, it was fun. CSS was completely fun, I enjoyed every minute of it. JS was a bit challenging, but with more practice it gets better. I can't wait to see what the SheCodes Plus Workshop has in store for me.
This was an amazing experience, for a person who knew nothing about coding Matthieu Delac, has broken down everything so exceptionally. I enjoyed every minute of it. At this point I am so excited to build more projects and looking forward to more weeks of intensive learning and coding with SheCodes.

Friends/associates asked how these courses are going. I like the challenge. I am truly enjoying when I solve a coding issue- like when I stare at the computer for hours only to find that my code isn't working because I forgot a period or a bracket.
I really enjoyed this introduction to coding! The videos were short yet informative and Matt explains everything very well. I really liked the challenges we have after every video as it allows me to practice what I've just learned which helps me to remember the information better. I already had a fair bit of coding knowledge before taking this course and I'm glad to say I still learned some new things! So far I love the flow of the course as everything Matt's taught so far connects. Overall a very good course and I can't wait to take more!

I think since joining SheCodes, this was definitely the most challenging for me. I had to remind myself that I am learning this for the first time therefore extending grace to myself was necessary. With re-watching the classes, constant practising and a present and supportive SheCodes team, I build an entire Weather-app using react!!

React was definitely challenging but, as always, the lessons broke down the content into manageable chunks. As frustrating as it got at some points, it was equally as enjoyable. I definitely have more practice to do but this was a great starting point and I'm happy I've gained this knowledge.
After completing this course, I learned a lot on JavaScript and advanced my HTML and CSS. This course on JavaScript was hard but you actually learn and understand how JavaScript really works.
