SheCodes is really great for people who are new to coding, the video tutorials are short and sweet so it is easy to grasp the content taught without zoning out. I love how after each and every lesson we are given a chance to apply what we learnt and this makes the workshop fun. In as much as the workshop is self paced, I love the idea of having deadlines put in place.
It's been a great experience to continue my studies with SheCodes! I'm so happy with my project, it's totally worth it. Matthieu it's an incredible teacher and I love how the platform works. I recommend the Basics Add-on course a 100% for beginners. Now I'm going to continue with SheCodes Plus, I'm so excited!!!!

Although basic, it's a great introduction for those starting out. Instead of trying to explain each of the concepts, the course actually demonstrates in practice how to do things, and that makes it easier to understand.

It has been a really fun and very rewarding journey learning how to code with She codes. I've learned a lot of things about coding and my whole view on coding has changed. I used to think that code is very challenging and might be impossible to learn, but I see that it's possible to learn step by step with she codes.
When I started my journey with SheCodes, I knew nothing about coding but now I'm very happy to say I've learned the basics of coding. It is challenging but if you have passion for coding you'll do whatever it takes for you to be up there. This was a really fun workshop! I learned so much about how to make a webpage responsive and SEO friendly, as well as how to link multiple webpages together. Following along with Matt made it that much more helpful, as well as the help provided in slack. I highly recommend! It was a great way to refine previously learned coding skills and learn new ones!
The AI Add-On workshop has been incredibly enjoyable and fascinating! I've always been intrigued by generative AI and how it can be integrated into a webpage, I have learned so much from this course. Working on the final project was a fantastic experience, and it has quickly become one of my favorites projects.
This basics coding workshop was the perfect refresher to jump back into coding after years of growing rusty. I loved the straightforwardness of the program, the self paced environment and would highly recommend to anyone with interest in the field who doesn't know where to start.

If you are looking to get into coding at all, SheCodes is an excellent place to start. It does take a little self-determination but the timelines are helpful as they keep you accountable. I knew nothing before and now I can make a multi-page portfolio website :)

My HTML and CSS skills have definitely leveled up since the last course. I enjoyed learning about grid layouts, transform effects and class manipulation. It was fun and practical.

However, while the content was valuable, I felt that some topics were not covered in sufficient depth for a comprehensive understanding. Althoughthe course provided a solid foundation, with additional resources or further explanation, it could be even more beneficial. I enjoyed the workshop so much ,it made me feel somewhat clever, I do not regret doing the workshop at all, it is my first time coming across coding. I never even thought that in a million years I would know how to do it, or even when looking at a web page I look beyond the words and pictures its very interesting. It's been a while since I started my coding journey, and what can I say? It's been a rollercoaster, but definitely worth it. The Basics Shecodes course was very insightful, and I got to learn well from it, it was not too complicated and tough, although JavaScript was quite challenging, the course did teach me most of what there is to learn about it. This is a course I would 100% recommend to other ladies interested in learning how to code.
In just three days, I accomplished an incredible project, dedicating no more than 20 hours of my time! Thanks to the dynamic and clear tutorials from SheCodes, I was able to effortlessly integrate Responsive into my design, creating a user-friendly interface using 'embed' features. From sourcing the perfect information, images, and text to building everything from scratch, this experience made me feel like a seasoned professional developer. With more practice, I'm confident that I'll be able to work independently in no time at all. The journey has been exhilarating, and I can't wait to see where my newfound skills take me next!
