I have enjoyed taking the course and learning the basics of coding with HTML, CSS & Javascript.
This has been a really interesting journey! In my daily work as a 3D animator I have always used scripts and tools to make my life easier. They've always been super handy - but I've never understood how they worked. Now I can look at most of them and understand the mechanics behind - which is a pretty awesome feeling. I hope that with time I'll be able to create my own tools to benefit my workflow.

I loved my time at SheCodes! As a woman, I was nervous to learn coding at first, but the SheCodes community made me feel welcome right away. One of the best parts was how supportive everyone was. I could ask questions anytime, and other women learning with me were always there to help too. As one who has been to the Basics Workshop, I still learned a lot more, in a week's time and this workshop I believe will be a strong foundation for future workshops with higher level of coding. It was very good to learn how to create a functional website with API connections.
The React workshop was the toughest one I've done so far. I spent hours trying to figure things out, and it felt pretty hard at times. But in the end, it was totally worth it. I finally got my weather app to work! I learned so much, and I feel way more confident with React now. Even though it was challenging, Iβm glad I stuck with it.

The Add-on basics are a great way of adding to what you have already learnt on the basic's platform. The only challenge I faced was when I got stuck or had a question, as I had to wait to ask in the Slack chat and for someone to respond. While the team is very attentive and helpful, patience is required, especially in the beginning, when things can feel a bit overwhelming. At times, I felt like giving up, but I realized that with persistence, the process becomes manageable, and it's something anyone can accomplish.
