The React Add-on workshop was a great journey to deepening my knowledge of React and becoming used to its techniques and cores. But once you fix them and everything works smoothly it gives you so much faith in yourself. The AI course has been my favourite of them all so far, I had a lot of fun building my AI recipe generator.
I've come to SheCodes to brush up on lessons I learned a few years back. This workshop is definitely for absolute beginners. I like that it teaches women to code, and I think it's a great resource for women to break into tech.

React can be challenging to learn, but itโs an excellent framework that teaches you a lot of valuable concepts and skills. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in front-end development, but keep in mind that it requires a lot of patience and persistence to fully grasp its features and best practices.
The classes are a great starting point to build confidence in using Python. I particularly enjoyed how the lessons were designed to gradually build understanding, starting with simple concepts like variables and conditionals, and then progressing to functions and loops. Looking forward to more advanced learning
I found the workshop a great way to learn the basics of JS/HTML/CSS in a super organized and FUN way! I am planning to attend the Plus as well ๐
I've enjoyed learning the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript having previously done beginner courses elsewhere in data analytics. This feels a little more creative which I like. I enjoyed trying things out on the design side for the project and basing it on a chosen topic. I haven't yet decided whether to make it a career change but it's certainly given me food for thought.

Python Advanced Workshop was really intense and very engaging. I learnt about Object Oriented Programming to help design codes in a much more organized and scalable way. I also learnt more on how to manipulate files - read, write and extract data to make it presentable and easy for people to understand. I am also able to display data extracted using Python plots for better visualization. The most challenging yet rewarding for me in this workshop was learning advanced techniques on csv file manipulation and complex data structures in Python. I learnt how to play around with dictionaries, filtering and aggregating data. At the end of the workshop, I was able to build a project using real life csv file to create data visualization using Python. Thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team for this very engaging and knowledge-packed workshop.

I cannot say enough good things about shecodes! It had been a very long time since I had done any amount of coding. I enrolled in both Python Basics and Python Advanced courses. They were everything I was hoping it would be! Thank you very much to Matt Delac for his wonderful way of show casing information that is approachable and not intimidating to learn. One of the things I valued most was his authentic spirit as he troubleshot while teaching. His vibe is always calm with 'it is ok not to know everything' attitude. If there were more Python courses through shecodes I would take them! As I move forward in coding I will use shecodes as a valuable resource as well as recommend them.

It was very fun to do!
Over the last two weeks, Iโve been working on an exciting project, building a World Clock application using moment.tz, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, hosted on Netlify and managed through GitHub. This project has been an incredible learning experience for me. After 2.5 months of working on and finishing two projects โ a Weather App that provides real-time data and now the World Clock, I can confidently say that my understanding of coding and app development has improved significantly. With the World Clock project, I was able to integrate different time zones, show the current time in multiple cities, and even find my own location in real time. Thanks to SheCodes Plus, I now feel more confident in my coding abilities. The structured lessons and hands-on projects have given me a deeper understanding of how to build apps, troubleshoot issues, and what to look for when things aren't working as expected. Iโm constantly learning and improving my skills, and Iโm excited to keep building more projects as I grow as a developer. I just completed SheCodes AI, and I have to sayโit was my absolute favorite so far! ๐ This module opened up a whole new world of creativity and possibilities. Learning about AI and how to use prompts effectively felt empowering ๐คโจ, and the integration with JavaScript and plugins made it super practical for real-world projects. What I loved most was how much room there was to get creative with the final project. I enjoyed taking what I learned and adding my own twist to it, giving my project "Hello Happiness - a compliment generator" a unique personal flair ๐จ๐. Itโs so rewarding to see how far Iโve come and to apply my skills! ๐ I canโt wait to see whatโs next.
