This week has been really amazing for me, I really enjoyed my coding (Basic-Add on).
A little challenging but worth it when I got to see the final product. Learning even more and taking another step further into my coding journey has me very excited to see what else is in store for me!

It was a really good experience to study at Shecodes and designing a really beautiful weather app with HTML , CSS and JS .
It was great, a bit tricky had to go over things a few times but it was really good.

A great way to learn at your own pace. It can take some time to hear back from others on Slack if you are in a different timezone (I am in Australia which is far away). I've enjoyed learning different languages and seeing the results come to life!
I would like to thank Matt for the amazing, easy-to-follow tutorials. I already learned this in high school, when there were only two or three girls in each class of 28 students. But the environment was so harsh back in the early 2000s that I really did not enjoy coding. Matt and the SheCode workshop brought me a new interest and I now finally enjoy coding. Thank you!
The Python Advanced course opened many channels for learning and better understanding of the complexities of Python. I had a lot of fun and felt challenged with the assignments and exercises. I highly recommend for anyone looking to broaden their Python horizons to take this course.
The Plus Add-On workshop was a lot of fun! I was really excited to learn how to play around with libraries in JavaScript, and building and styling the application for the final project. I am excited to continue my learning journey with all I have learned from this workshop.
The SheCodes Basics Add-on videos are straightforward to understand. The concepts are easier to grasp than reading the concepts in a book or watching videos on YouTube. The learning is more streamlined.
In a few hours, I revised some skills I've learned from past courses and learned a few more techniques for future projects. It was really fun.
The SheCodes basic workshop was exactly what I needed to refresh my memory, as it's been over 5 years since I've done any sort of coding! It was exciting revisiting old knowledge, and now I'm confident of the three basics - html, css and javascript. Looking forward learning more!

My first multipage static website! This project was such a milestone! I had a lot of fun experimenting with some playful features in Bootstrap. Working in Figma was a delightβso intuitive! Have since become addicted to utube figma tutorials. An easygoing and enjoyable module.

I enjoy it a lot. Very simplistic and a little underwhelming compared to the web development lessons, but laid down the bases for a good understanding of Python, which I hope to keep building.

It was really fun building the World Clock project for the Plus Add-On. It would have been cool to learn how to have a search bar that includes all time zones within the Moment library. SheCodes has basically saved my life. It has given me hope. I have been wanting to change careers into tech and due to lack of funds, I had not been able to. Having been unemployed for a long time, I have hopes that coding will open more doors for me. Also, Matt, our instructor has debugged the myth that coding is hard. I design websites as a freelancer and mostly use CMS like WP. You can do a lot with it, but coding websites myself helps me to understand all the details and how everything fits together.
Learning to code can sometimes feel really inaccessible but this course made it possible to learn so comprehensively with a fantastic teacher in Matt. He made it interesting and super fun. It's also incredibly empowering as a skill for women especially given the increasing digitalisation of the working world.
