This workshop was very engaging. The videos were very informative. One thing that I would strongly recommend, as was suggested, is to not pause for too long during the lessons. Sometimes you forget the basic structures and elements. I had a lot of fun completing the assignments and learned a lot more about coding.

I've always wanted to learn how to code but I didn't know how and where to start. SheCodes workshop provided me with short and clear explanation videos along with a mini challenge to check my understanding. This kept me motivated to learn further and I had so much fun throughout the course! I'm so proud of myself to say I now know how to code :)

SheCodesPlus was a great way to utilize and build upon the skills learned from the basics course. This course is well structured and the step-by-step videos are super helpful in breaking down each skill into manageable & "do-able" parts. This whole experience has been both challenging and rewarding for me. I love that I can work on this when my kids are at school. I feel like I have learned so much in such a little amount of time and still excited to learn more! The slack channel and support team are AMAZING and very helpful. Thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team for all of your guidance and support. You are all WONDERFUL!

I really enjoyed being able to do this course while working a full time job. The videos were great in being able to see everything happen and the communication on Slack was awesome. I can't wait to learn more!

I'm loving learning how to code! I thought it may be difficult to learn just by watching videos but Matt makes it easy to follow and the challenges really do help you learn!

I enjoyed SheCodes Basics course as it's structured in a way that you could learn in your own pace, with videos of each lesson rarely more than 10mins. There are times when I just couldn't find enough time to work on homework/projects but you could extend the deadline and complete it later. You'll lost track of time easily when you code because it's so fun! I personally enjoy it overall.

SheCodes has been a great starting point for learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I was exposed to HTML and CSS through University which sparked my interest but there was a lot of assumed knowledge and I found myself scraping all sorts of things together for my assessments. I wish I’d found SheCodes earlier as I have a great basic understanding of these languages now. Matts videos are easy to listen to and understand and the tasks are just challenging enough but not overwhelming. Matts teaching style makes me excited to continue to learn more 😊

I have loved every minute of my SheCodes course and learned a lot of new skill. The mix of videos, tasks and also explaining the solutions has provided a great range of learning tools. The Slack channel for around the clock support is also great as you can ask queries and get a fast response if something is not quite working as you expected. I did not use this a lot but on the 2 occasions I did I received very useful answers in a friendly and timely manner. I feel a lot more confident coding now and look forward to progressing my career with the help of SheCodes!

Having completed the basic & plus courses, I was excited to take the next step. I'm so pleased with my final project, it looks very professional and I'm feeling confident in my responsive coding abilities. The step-by-step videos were easy to follow.

I had a bit of prior knowledge coming into this course, however, I was able to learn so much more through this course. The videos were thorough and demonstrated the information perfectly.

SheCodes Basics was a great introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The short videos and challenges allowed me to learn at my own pace and to repeat the classes whenever any questions arose. The community on Slack was also instrumental in clearing up questions whenever a Google search didn't help. The experience was so positive that I plan to do another workshop with SheCodes.

This workshop was great! The videos are easy to follow along too and the challenges are appropriate and interesting. The project was a fun way to learn more coding and grow my skillset. It's was a great challenge to tackle.

Thank you for another great workshop! The techniques I learned in SheCodes Responsive definitely improved my fluency with CSS and HTML and lent greater overall sophistication to my code. The workshop picks up where we left off with SheCodes Plus and builds cumulatively on prior teaching material with a well-organized curriculum that limits the number of videos per week but covers each topic on average at greater length than in prior workshops. With more people browsing on their phones these days and this trend likely to increase over time, the techniques of responsive development are essential skills for professional web developers to learn. I recommend this workshop if you want all the tools to start building multiple-page websites that will look good on nearly any device.

The course is great for the beginners: short videos (no more 15-hour long Youtube tutorials 😁), challenges are good. I am happy to see a result of my work at the end of each week

I had an awesome experience with SheCodes Plus! I did the Basic class first and loved it so much I had to go back for more. The Plus is definitely a step up! It's much harder, but the way Matt explains everything in the videos is great. The SheCodes team members were wonderful to work with and so helpful whenever I got stuck. It was great to have an online class with real people checking over my homework. It kept me accountable for my work! I highly recommend these workshops for anyone looking for a new skill in tech.

This was another amazing journey into coding. I really enjoyed all parts of this Responsive workshop and I can't wait to start the React workshop. I'm in love with this course; the easy-to-follow short videos, and the challenging final project. Coding is really fun at SheCodes!

Videos are so helpful, the lessons are segmented nicely to allow a good flow of learning at your own pace.

I liked that the videos were short and focused. You get right to the point where you can start building your own small website. Of course the 3 weeks course only teaches the basics, but I was impressed with what I was able to do for the final project and am looking forward to the next course.

Honestly, a brilliant and well taught introduction to HTML, CSS and JS. Really suitable for people with ADHD as the tutorial videos are short and easy to digest.

SheCodes workshops allow you to learn in your own pacing. Matt created very nice videos with commentary, explanations and he makes sure that everything is explained in human-friendly language. So even if you are a blank empty page (as I was at the beginning) do not hesitate to join the workshop. Some things are very easy and other just need more time to learn. But - if you have energy, drive and motivation - everything is possible. I am living breathing proof of that. And even if you will feel like you are lost or stuck, the team of SheCodes provides full-time support for any kind of situation. You will never feel like you are alone in this.

SheCodes Introducing to programming was super fun and very helpful! Videos and tasks help you understand the code and how it works. The format and presentation are excellent. I was able to combine my studies and my other tasks easily. Motivation did not subside until the very end of the course. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get the basics of web development. SheCodes is one of the best online courses. When I watch videos and try to code I have to say I've been coding for hours without moving and I feel tired at all. I knew nothing about coding but now it's my fun hobby.

I am very grateful to SheCodes for this course! Special thanks to Matt Delac for such detailed and clear videos. In general, the workshop was very clear, for me as a beginner it was very important. At the same time, I was studying in other course, there was little I understood, there were only exercise and I did not understand why they were. And at your Basic workshop we not only did exercise, but also a real small site. It is very interesting! The videos are short, after each video there are tasks, not just tasks, but interesting and exciting tasks, and the mentor's decision. Bravo! The whole Basic course passed in one go. Super! Thank you very much for providing me with such basic knowledge of programming in HTML, CSS and JavaScrip. I already recommend you to my friends!

Great workshop for beginners. I learned so much in three weeks and created my project. The workshop's videos were short and informative which I liked too. And after each video, I had an opportunity to practice it myself. It was fascinating and not overwhelming at all.

It is definitely not an easy task. We have to pay much more attentions on the videos and homework in order to learn the challenging coding.

I've always wanted to learn and work in the tech field but regular schooling isn't for me. I just recently learned about coding bootcamps and as we all know the prices are extremely high. I was happy to come across SheCodes, the prices are great and its for women. I have time to learn code at my pace without getting too stressed, being able to re-watch any videos and search for my questions that have already been asked, I love it because I am a "do it/find it yourself kind of person. Can't wait to see what the next workshop brings.

It was a cool experience to participate in the curse. I like that the theoretical part is based on practical exercises. Great that the videos are shot and contained only useful information.

After doing the SheCodes Basics workshop, I couldn't wait to continue on to SheCodes Plus...and it did not disappoint. It was challenging at times but Matthieu makes the solution videos very easy to understand what you're having trouble with. I love that everything is still available for me to look back to in case I need a refresher and the final project is such a great real-world project that showcases all the coding you've been learning while allowing you to get creative if you want to.

The moment I started Week One/Lesson One of SheCodes Basics, I was hooked! The entire course was extremely informative and Matt does a fantastic job explaining concepts that I was otherwise having difficulty grasping. The challenges, homework and final project were a lot of fun and definitely solidified what I'd learned previously in the lesson videos!

This first 3 weeks has been easily manageable with the great short videos and with the short assignments after almost every video. I can't wait to start the next one. ☺️

SheCodes Plus is a fantastic course. I liked being able to fit working on the course into my schedule instead of having to schedule everything around the course. At times it was confusing but there's plenty of support to answer any questions. Each week the sections are delivered in small, manageable videos that help build your knowledge.

I really enjoyed this course. I found the balance of videos and challenges was perfect and really contributed to my learning.

I was really glad that the lessons are in "bite sized" pieces because as a beginner there were lots of videos I had to rewatch to fully absorb the information. I really like that SheCodes Instructor Matt also shows you how to find other solutions and resources online.

Few years ago I took courses on JavaScript but it didn't really click. It's when I started SheCodes workshops I was fascinated and eager to learn. I couldn't have imagined I would end up here, excited to learn and have fun coding. I had watched videos and tried coding courses but it did not work out well for me because it was poorly explained and extremely confusing. I have learned so much just from SheCodes basics workshop, that completing that final project felt like a huge accomplishment. The instructor Matt, has done an amazing job putting these lessons together.

Great second course! Again there was loads of challenges and interactions that made learning easy to follow along! I love that you can watch the videos back and adjust the speed, as well as individual homework pieces that build up to the final project so it isn't so scary to submit the project at the end!

I've always felt like a have a thing for coding but never actually had the courage or time to explore this passion, until I found SheCodes! The lessons are brief, so neatly organized, logically flowing from one concept to the next. Matthieu's explanatory videos are very clear and make it easy to learn this new language. When I decided to start exploring coding a few weeks ago, I didn't expect to be able to create a complete web app from scratch. But, here it is! This course really has exceeded my expectations. This course was exactly what I needed to learn the basics about coding and still wanting to learn more. The exercises were the perfect closure for each unit and the videos from Matt were a great way to learn all the different content. I tried learning js during the quarantine and loved it. I even started making my own site IlearnRussian.net However, I realized that my knowledge needs to be consolidated and sharpened by mentors, so I'm trying to find a school. JS is not an easy language to master for me, and I would love to learn from teachers. (So far I've been learning on my own). During quarantine two years ago, I watched a video, where I heard about html, googled it, didn't understand the explanation, searched it on youtube, watched videos and practiced, was surprised that it's so simple, and gradually got from html / css to js. Since I have a project I'm interested in, I started working on that. I teach foreign languages, focusing on teaching Russian for foreigners. So I started working on a site teaching Russian to foreigners (IlearnRussian.net). The things there are what I did on my own, a project I learned by watching a youtube video, or a code I googled on the internet.

At first two class were easy i not going to lie some of the class were a it hard. but it helped be find videos that explain some of the topic's from the class which it helped doing the class.

I am only at the beginning of my journey, but I have already enjoyed learning on this platform a lot. Many thanks for the availability of the presentation of the material in English. Even with the Pre-Intermediate level, the videos are understandable even without a translator.

I had no experience prior to this workshop and felt too intimidated to get into coding. Through this workshop, I felt I was able to learn a good foundation and I enjoyed doing the challenges/hw. The videos were really easy to follow and understand. Even though I never had to ask directly for help, it was really eye-opening to go through the chat and see what different ways other people were going about assignments. I would highly recommend SheCodes Basics Workshop. I really appreciated the learning videos and the assignments at the end of each lesson. I completed the SheCodes Basics program with a working knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I am able to create a basic, functioning, interactive webpage. I had tried a free coding camp previously but the content was not suited to my learning style, and they did not show us how to use actual coding tools such as VS Code and Colorzilla. I finished that course feeling more confused than when I started, online with SheCodes, where I actually learned useful things that I will be able to apply irl outside of the courses. The SheCodes course material is perfectly suited to my visual learning style, and being able to go back and reference the videos at any time, as well as work alongside them in real-time in VS Code, was extremely helpful. I feel confident in my knowledge and abilities. The Slack group is also an amazing resource and any question I asked was answered within an hour. There is a big sense of community and teamwork, and it is clear that everyone wants each other to succeed. I started the SheCodes Plus course this week and have already learned even more! What I really love about the experience is that I came into it not really knowing anything about computers, and thinking it would be hard to learn. However, Matt and the SheCodes team have created a program that is easy to learn, just the right amount of challenging, and most of all, fun! I will absolutely be recommending SheCodes to any woman in my life who may be interested in learning how to code. Its an amazing and extremely fun experience, and I cant wait to learn even more!

It was a great experience to learn coding in the Basics Workshop! The content of the videos was very well explained, so that one could implement the newly learned step by step. Delac Foundation is indeed a place to be if you really want to develop or grow your career in the IT Industry. I started learning coding from the scratch and I can tell you that my 3weeks learning SheCodes Basics was really worth it, I enjoyed every bit of the training. In time past, I used to see coded languages as strange but now I've become familiar with them. I can now play around HTML, CSS and JAVASCRIPT with ease. The instructional videos with detailed explanations, challenges and homework made my learning easier and less stressful. The Slack platform gave me the opportunity to interact with my wonderful classmates from all over world regardless of our Race, Color, Nationality or Ethnicity. As a beginner coder, this course was great for me to get stuck into the world of coding. You are not only able to learn when and where you like but you also have several accountability partners that are willing to push you along the way. Matt speaks clearly throughout all videos to ensure you understand all topics covered.

This is such a great workshop to take if you want your websites to look good on smaller screens. I loved the videos as we built a multi-page website together. I learned what a good work process is like and it helped me develop my own work style.

I have been loving the journey so far. I do have some experience with html, css and Javascript. I love that the courses uses videos with bite size lessons to complete with one project at the end of each module. I started a front end bootcamp and it was way over my head with a lot to complete in a weeks time. This course has given me to much more confidence that I can do this!

I never thought that it would be so much fun to create a website by myself. I have long been interested in how to program such pages and SheCodes is the perfect training platform for self-study. Matt's videos are outstanding. I enjoy that the videos are short and I'm able to immediately apply what I learned in the challenge. This learning model works well for me and I'm so happy I was able to sign up for this course. I learned a lot in three weeks and I'm looking forward to the next eight! 😊

okay here's just my opinion. I honestly liked the shortness of the SheCodes workshop, it was an eye opener experience for me. I did appreciate the videos that were available, but I also had to spend some time having to learn things my own, by searching up how-to videos, and reading about new terms and techniques, which I have to admit, I wasn't thrilled about. I figured since we were paying to get into the workshop, the information would be taught to us, and not us having to teach ourselves at times. Of course, I can't be too upset with it because it was titled a basic workshop, so I should have probably guessed. I also felt like the project video demos were way more easy to follow along versus the challenge videos from week 1 and 2 (sidenote: week 2 seems a bit more easier than week 1, and it wasn't as over bearing, could just have been for me.) The week 3 (aka project) videos were completely step by step, and when I was doing my project, that's what I used to help me build it from scratch, instead of having to go back to look at week 1 and 2 challenge videos (if you're reading this without being in the workshop, it may not make sense, but it will if you do)! The videos from Week 1 and 2, I only knew what to do after I submitted my solution, and I saw the answer. I wished I just understood before from the learning video. I am quite happy that I was able to follow through with the workshop (finally! I had kept putting it off! :') When I finally did commit to the workshop, though, I had some basic knowledge of HTML that I believe helped me keep going. I do think if you're a beginner with no absolute knowledge of web development, you should try to know some before jumping into this workshop, especially if you're gonna pay. There are free beginner workshops online (way long, might be kinda boring too though), I would recommend watching some videos of Introduction to HTML/CSS/JAVASCRIPT, even reading some books (another sidenote: I bought a workbook to help with HTML/CSS, definitely helped me out.), then I would join SheCodes. It wasn't as overwhelming, because some of the words were familiar. Another piece of advice, the deadline can sneak up on you, especially if you have outside life going on, like work or school or whatever else that can take up your time. This workshop is like an online class, so keep that in mind when choosing your start date. Overall, I do appreciate this as a start up, and a push in the right direction. It really depends on your dedication, truthfully. It's a great tool, and I'm thankful for the opportunity. Also, its three weeks-one if you really wanna push it. Not bad.

This workshop has been incredibly fun and I've learnt so much. I'm always looking forward to sit down and go through the videos and work on the homeworks. I honestly wish the workshop would never end!

I'm really glad I continued with SheCodes Plus after completing the SheCodes Basics Workshop! It was amazing that I got to see code from scratch turn into a functioning application. The videos are very clear and I appreciate the self pace that allows me to practice my front end development skills while juggling work.

Learning how to code was a great experience, I never thought I would enjoy coding so much! The course in general and the videos especially were easy to follow, even though I didn’t have any prior programming experience.

SheCodes+ definitely took things on another level. Sometimes I unconsciously felt that this is getting too complicated by using the same simple tools of HTML, CSS and JS which Matt introduced in SheCodes Basic, but he mentioned several times that there are other advanced tools like React to get the same result easier, but this is meant to really dive deep into basics and to get to the level when things finally clicked and you profoundly understand some coding concepts you have been lost in previously. Even though coding here was a lot of fun, needless to say sometimes it got little frustrating and very time-requiring. As a perfectionist I used Google a lot, as I wanted include things there were no time to explain in main videos. I will for sure continue with other courses, as I can already see how this become more and more interesting!

great entry level coding , learning the basics of html, css and java. videos are clear, and there's always someone to answer your questions, sometimes within a few hours.
