Great for having some structure and deadlines to hold yourself to while you learn how to code. The amount of material is also very achievable to get through when you are limited on extra time to commit to learning (approx. 5 hours / week compared to 10+ hours with other programs). I also like the nice mix of bite size videos and exercises to get hands on practice with the concepts. Best way to start out my mornings learning new skills.
It was a great introduction to see if coding was for me. It was easy enough to follow Matt's directions but with enough challenge to make you feel comfortable enough to find the solution yourself. This program not only taught me basic coding but also gave me confidence to continue learning to code and apply new jobs.
SheCodes has been great. Its informative, helpful and well thought out. It allows for real life to continue while undergoing the courses. I am excited to continue learning and am thrilled with how far I have come.
I tried to learn coding on other platforms and through other workshops for years, before coming across SheCodes. The interface of the website and workshops are set up perfectly to help me learn. I would recommend SheCodes to everyone wanting to start learning how to code. Thank you guys!
Great course! It was fun and informative, and Matt is always quick to give little pieces of advice (like knowing when a feature is too complicated to be worth your time!). This course structure wasn't quite as smooth as Basics, but people were always ready to clear up confusion on Slack. SheCodes is very flexible! It's great, but if you're someone who needs a lot of structure and encouragement/accountability to finish something, expect that you'll have to seek it out. It is absolutely available on Slack, but you need to seek it out, no babysitting here :-)
I've been eager to learn about coding, and learned about SheCodes and it's been to helpful taking these classes!
Whether you're a front end coder, or coding for inner office finance practices, all coding is good. It is interrelated. Your first priority should be to begin this education with good equipment. Highly recommended.
Matt's videos are very instructive so we can easily follow them. The best part is I didn't even notice that I was working on the challenges and homework, because to me I was just having a lot of fun. I also loved the self-paced learning, which may be challenging at times but with discipline and passion, any dedicated student can do it.
I really enjoyed this course! It was a good refresher on my HTML and CSS skills while tacking on JavaScript. Matt also did a really good job at breaking down complex concepts.

I really enjoyed Matt's teaching style. Even when there were complex principles, he explained them in a way that was applicable and easy to follow. It was essential in helping me remain confident during the challenges.

I was an absolute beginner when I started the workshop. Matt explained everything from very basic and arranged it to grow step by step, which made the workshop progressive and fun at the same time. I liked the idea of having a challenge at the end of each lesson because these challenges helped me to learn better how to solve problems by thinking and a little bit of googling :)
The SheCodes Basic course was my first interaction with coding, it was quite exciting to see the immediate and practical results of all that was being thought! I learnt a lot throughout the program. Hope to move on to more advanced levels

SheCodes was a terrific experience. A week ago, I had ZERO coding experience, and I just finished building my first webpage using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. SheCodes Basics is a great intro to coding. The format is terrific. You have short videos followed by immediate application of the skills you just learned. I highly recommend this program to anyone interested in coding.
It was a pretty easy class nothing to be scared about, the video are easy to understand and really helpful. If you are doubting whether or not you can do i suggest you try!
I appreciate the opportunity to work at our own pace and to get feedback from people. I especially find it helpful to do projects on our own & then see the solutions. As a type-A person who has not been very keen with technology, it is refreshing to know that progress happens every step of the way.

This workshop helped me get over my fear of coding. For years I would hear about coding but was too intimidated by the idea of creating a website from scratch. I'm an individual pursing a career in Digital Marketing and I want to learn the basics of coding as some jobs require it. I had a fun time coding and building landing pages. My favorite part of coding was using my creative side to build a pretty cool page.
I had just an awesome time creating my own landing page and being able to add features, like intercating with my page, was a mejor plus. I would recommend this workshop to anyone who likes design or is very much into being creative. Even though it's just a basic coding workshop, you do learn a lot.
I have enjoyed this class so far. I feel like it is setup in such a great way to encourage me to learn the web development technologies and actually have fun along the way. I like the class breakdown, support channels, deadlines to push us, and the fact that I can self-pace everything in my time.

I came to this workshop with a very basic level of coding experience so most of it was a refresher and I absolutely loved it because it reawakened in me a passion for this work. I loved this course! As a fine arts student, a practical working application for artists is front-end coding. I found this course helpful and well formatted. I learned a lot and I cannot wait to continue on my coding journey!

I had never imagined I could learn so much in only a few weeks. It is not only the skills I have learned from every lesson but also the techniques on how to "google" things that make the learning process much faster and I now feel unstoppable (lol).
After graduating with my degree in Social Work, I finally decided to listen to my father and pursue a career in tech, as it has secretly always been my passion. Enrolling in this bootcamp has been one of best decision I ever made.

I was very hesitant to sign up for this workshop because I had no experience with coding and work full-time, but I am so happy I did. I have learned so much in the last few weeks and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Considering a career change now that I have this new and very enjoyable skill. Just the knowledge and confidence I gained from completing the workshop was well worth the price and time.
This is a great course! I already had some previous knowledge, so having that information a long with taking this course has helped me become more comfortable with basic knowledge of building sites.

I was scared but excited to start this course! I have learned so much in just 3 weeks it blows my mind! 🤯 I never thought I would grasp the concepts so easily and although there are some tough challenges, it is good because it reached you to troubleshoot. A great course for beginners! My HTML knowledge prior to SheCodes was limited at the most basic level. After finishing the workshop, I can now proudly say that I understand the fundamentals of web development, and I am truly excited to learn more.

It was challenging but exiting. I enjoyed learning about how the websites, we use everyday, are created and maintained. Coding really is like learning a new language , and the course is set up to learning the basics and building up to more and more complex ideas .
I really enjoyed this workshop! Starting with zero coding knowledge, these courses were easy to follow and the online support system is an incredible tool. I can't wait to start the next workshop!

I loved this workshop, I learned so much! This workshop gave me the confidence to start building my own websites. I even was able to recreate my own workshop for my greeting card shop.
