SheCodes Basic has given me insight into the coding world. I learned many new coding skills in a few short weeks.
I learned so much and had a lot of fun during this course! The classes are well organized and easy to follow. I recommend this course to people who are new to coding like me.

This was a great beginners workshop that left me wanting to learn more about web development! Matt did a wonderful job breaking down the knowledge, and and displaying it in an easy to understand way.

Amazing course. Matt's videos were very easy to follow along and most importantly, easy to understand. A lot of other videos I've watched on YouTube or other sites weren't very beginner friendly!! I've always been curious about learning coding, but was daunted by it thinking it was too hard. This workshop has made it so easy and fun to understand! Matt's lessons are easy to follow and at the same time challenging. This course was super awesome. Easy to follow along and super helpful.
I was an absolute beginner when I started the workshop. Matt explained everything from very basic and arranged it to grow step by step, which made the workshop progressive and fun at the same time. I liked the idea of having a challenge at the end of each lesson because these challenges helped me to learn better how to solve problems by thinking and a little bit of googling :)
The SheCodes Basic course was my first interaction with coding, it was quite exciting to see the immediate and practical results of all that was being thought! I learnt a lot throughout the program. Hope to move on to more advanced levels
Unfortunately I am unable to continue with SheCodes, but I'm grateful for what I learned in the 3 week workshop.
This was a great introductory course to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I highly recommend anyone take the Workshops to get a better grasp into the coding world. SheCodes was a terrific experience. A week ago, I had ZERO coding experience, and I just finished building my first webpage using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. SheCodes Basics is a great intro to coding. The format is terrific. You have short videos followed by immediate application of the skills you just learned. I highly recommend this program to anyone interested in coding.
It was a pretty easy class nothing to be scared about, the video are easy to understand and really helpful. If you are doubting whether or not you can do i suggest you try!
I appreciate the opportunity to work at our own pace and to get feedback from people. I especially find it helpful to do projects on our own & then see the solutions. As a type-A person who has not been very keen with technology, it is refreshing to know that progress happens every step of the way.

This workshop helped me get over my fear of coding. For years I would hear about coding but was too intimidated by the idea of creating a website from scratch. I didn't know that web development could be so fun until I started SheCodes. Now I'm seriously thinking about a career in that field! I think this workshop was such a great introduction. I especially benefitted from the challenge and homework layout, it helped keep me accountable and remember the information. I'm looking forward to learning even more!

I'm an individual pursing a career in Digital Marketing and I want to learn the basics of coding as some jobs require it. I had a fun time coding and building landing pages. My favorite part of coding was using my creative side to build a pretty cool page.
I had just an awesome time creating my own landing page and being able to add features, like intercating with my page, was a mejor plus. I would recommend this workshop to anyone who likes design or is very much into being creative. Even though it's just a basic coding workshop, you do learn a lot.
I have enjoyed this class so far. I feel like it is setup in such a great way to encourage me to learn the web development technologies and actually have fun along the way. I like the class breakdown, support channels, deadlines to push us, and the fact that I can self-pace everything in my time.

I’m a student at NYU pursuing a program to learn VR development and I needed a crash course in html, css, and JavaScript. SheCodes Basics workshop worked out perfectly and honestly, was way easier than trying to find tutorials on YouTube - I spent 2 weeks learning more with SheCodes than I could have by myself. I am grateful to this amazing workshop.

I came to this workshop with a very basic level of coding experience so most of it was a refresher and I absolutely loved it because it reawakened in me a passion for this work. I'm super proud of myself for completing the first workshop and can't wait to move on to the next! I found the courses easy to follow and the challenges just challenging enough. I like that Matt encourages you to seek out the answers for yourself.
I loved this course! As a fine arts student, a practical working application for artists is front-end coding. I found this course helpful and well formatted. I learned a lot and I cannot wait to continue on my coding journey!

I had never imagined I could learn so much in only a few weeks. It is not only the skills I have learned from every lesson but also the techniques on how to "google" things that make the learning process much faster and I now feel unstoppable (lol).
After graduating with my degree in Social Work, I finally decided to listen to my father and pursue a career in tech, as it has secretly always been my passion. Enrolling in this bootcamp has been one of best decision I ever made.
This has been an eye-opening experience. Will enjoy continuing on to the next workshop. Will have to get a picture by the time I graduate next time. 😉

I was very hesitant to sign up for this workshop because I had no experience with coding and work full-time, but I am so happy I did. I have learned so much in the last few weeks and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Considering a career change now that I have this new and very enjoyable skill. Just the knowledge and confidence I gained from completing the workshop was well worth the price and time.
This is a great course! I already had some previous knowledge, so having that information a long with taking this course has helped me become more comfortable with basic knowledge of building sites.

I was scared but excited to start this course! I have learned so much in just 3 weeks it blows my mind! 🤯 I never thought I would grasp the concepts so easily and although there are some tough challenges, it is good because it reached you to troubleshoot. The Slack channel is also a lifesaver full of knowledgeable and helpful staff and students! Can't wait to learn more!

A great course for beginners! My HTML knowledge prior to SheCodes was limited at the most basic level. After finishing the workshop, I can now proudly say that I understand the fundamentals of web development, and I am truly excited to learn more.

It was challenging but exiting. I enjoyed learning about how the websites, we use everyday, are created and maintained. Coding really is like learning a new language , and the course is set up to learning the basics and building up to more and more complex ideas .
I really enjoyed this workshop! Starting with zero coding knowledge, these courses were easy to follow and the online support system is an incredible tool. I can't wait to start the next workshop!

I remembered a little bit of the HTML/CSS from the early days of customizing social media pages and it was a great challenge to try Javascript for the first time. The thought of learning how to code always overwhelmed me before participating in SheCodes's workshops. All the lessons were interesting and interactive, and as I completed each assignment, I gained confidence in my coding abilities. I now have the motivation to continue expanding my skillset in additional programming languages!
I loved this workshop, I learned so much! This workshop gave me the confidence to start building my own websites. I even was able to recreate my own workshop for my greeting card shop.
I highly recommend SheCodes! Although challenging, Matt makes the courses fun and easy to follow. I had so much fun working on my final project.

SheCodes has been a great experience! I'm brand new to the world of coding, but Matt breaks it down very easy for newbies like me. Everything is easy to understand, and the the modules are set up in a way easy to navigate. Being able to complete everything in my own time is a bonus since I am also working full time.

Before I started I vaguely remember some HTML elements. I also was confused about the difference between HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Throughout the course learned what all three were and how to use them in real-time. The challenges and homework were a big help in learning progress and it was what it worthwhile since I got to test my skills. The teaching in each video is point and clear. Also, the live assisted help on Slack really helped when I was stuck. And the solutions for each challenge and homework helped me see other ways I could've and should've done it. The extra help along with deadlines, helped me stayed committed and learn to the best of my ability. SheCodes is Highly recommendable.
To be honest, I have learned basic HTML/CSS back in college, however I NEVER retained anything I learned because the way it was taught wasn't that great. The way that SheCodes teaches basic HTML/CSS and Javascript is way WAY more comprehensive. Learning from SheCodes, I actually understand now how HTML/CSS work and I feel more confident actually using HTML/CSS and Javascript now than when I learned back then. I'm sooo glad I decided to take this course.

I've learned so much in just three short weeks! I went from never having coded before, to understanding and genuinely enjoying it every step of the way. Matt breaks down each new concept into easy to digest lessons that even a complete beginner like myself can understand. I can't speak highly enough for how manageable and thorough this workshop is. I completed this workshop while simultaneously working as a stylist and assisting my son through virtual school. I've already referred friends. I entered this basics course unsure what I would think and I'm finishing it eager to learn more!

This was an enjoyable experience. The lessons were well instructed and very informative. The plus, however, was the community of intelligent, supportive people who were there to help me every step of the way whenever I struggled with a problem. I've taken coding classes before through my community college, but I literally felt like I was teaching myself because the instructors just seemed like they didn't really care or enjoy what they were teaching. Needless to say, I didn't learn much there. At SheCodes Basic, I learned so much because Matt cares about coding and making sure his students are successful is important to him. He made coding way more interesting than I thought it could be.

SheCodes Responsive is an incredibly useful, yet challenging course. Learning about media queries, Flexbox, and metadata/SEOs was super interesting (and very helpful for my code)! It was a bit difficult to keep up with the amount of information and track the small details, but Matt and the team did an excellent job with the examples and guiding students through the final project.
