The Basics workshop was easy to follow but thorough and informative. I feel confident in my understandings of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript after completing it, and I'm excited to start the next workshop.
Overall I really liked this intro course! I can't believe how much I have learned, and how comfortable I feel coding only after 3 weeks. The video lessons were really well explained and if I had trouble I would look at the SheCodes resources or the slack channel and my questions would get answered pretty easily. Now whenever I'm on any website I right-click inspect to see what else I can learnπ. I'm excited for the next stage!
it can be a bit of a challenge if you're a literal person and try to apply exactly what you learned but the professor teaches one thing and you have to apply what you learned and think a little bit more.
SheCodes It's been quite a new experience for me on the technology realm, I'm a very indecisive person, and took me a while to start this course, and then after taking it I don't regret it cause I I earned some new skills that I can use in the future.
I would recommend SheCodes to a friend if there was sale or if she wanted a short introduction to HTML/CSS/JS. The deadlines are motivating and beneficial; however, feedback is nonexistent. I feel that there are better resources out ther for cheaper.
I enjoyed every minute of this new learning experience! I definitely look forward to continuing my learning & possibly moving into a new field!
This class was a great introduction to the world of coding and served as a sampler for me without committing before I was sure I wanted to explore this field. The videos were digestible, the homework helped cement the foundations of the coding languages we explored and the project was challenging enough to keep me engaged until the end.

This was tough especially being hard of hearing and able to have access to subtitle to the video (Thanks to Google Chrome setting)! I enjoyed this so far just wish it was a little more structure but I do hope the next workshop will be little more fun to go on. But overall, I enjoyed this opportunity to gain my skillset in the tech industry now.
Using SheCodes, I have felt more confident learning and creating websites than any other tutorial sites. Everyone is willing to help you if you are frustrated. The best part is you see the results of your progression from a novice to understanding how to create a website.

The layout of this program is very user and learner friendly. I am a graduate from an associates program that did not have the level of support or logical layout that this program does. So simple but brilliant, you learn the concept, practice it, then submit an assignment with the new concept. I feel very encouraged as a woman entering the tech industry thanks to this program and the community it has.
SheCodes has made it accessible for me to delve into the world of coding. It is something I always had an interest in but was scared to take the leap and try to learn due to high costs of other courses and being employed full-time. SheCodes has been easy to follow along, I love being able to go back and review lessons to enforce my learning, and also the flexibility with deadlines if for any reason I need extra time to complete the assignments. I am so thankful how easy SheCodes has made it to be able to learn the basics for HTML, CSS, and JS. In just 2 weeks, I learned SO much compared to the amount you could learn from most generic coding classes . It gives so many possible job opportunities, and will be so helpful for resumes. At first I was worried that I would be clueless, but Matt Delac explains and shows how to do every single thing so easily and simple. I am very thankful for the opportunity as a woman to be able to learn easily, with no hassle!
I had a hard time executing the if /else statements with buttons in particular. However, it was worthwhile to review, practice, and complete this first project! I very much look forward to learning more in the next class!
It was so fun to learn! The lesson video was so easy to follow and if I was confused, I would go on the SheCodes slack community and everyone is so helpful.
I love puzzles and Coding for me is that continuous puzzle that keeps my mind intrigued. The sessions are easy to follow. I would definitely recommend this course to those just starting out.

As a third-year college student, I have trouble finding my passions and interests. I decided to leap out of my comfort zone to try the things that I've always wanted to learn. One of them was coding! I was always fascinated when I watch my engineering friends create something from nothing. With SheCodes I found a new passion of mine, coding! My perspective on my future career has changed. And I am excited to see what more I can learn in future workshops!
The final project was where I gained a lot of my confidence in this. When I started to build, it was almost like it was becoming natural. I really enjoyed learning CSS and cant wait to take the next one!

I went into this knowing absolutely nothing and three short weeks later, I was able to build my very first web page. It was very empowering to see my progress.
Before SheCodes I tried to learn to code somewhere else, but there were no deadlines or assignments. I was not able to understand the material like I did with SheCodes. I really enjoyed doing the challenges and homework assignments!
SheCodes gave excellent projects and forums to boost my confidence while learning a new skill. I got frustrated so many times but reaching out to my fellow SheCoders and having their support kept me motivated! Making every completed track taste that much sweeter π€©. Now I'm hungry for more. I truly enjoyed this 3 week SheCodes workshop, as someone who is brand new to coding, this workshop was a perfect introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. At the end of 3 weeks I feel as though I have good foundation to keep building and practicing on.
If you are even considering taking this class, DO IT!! The way the class was laid out and the challenges after each lesson really helped me apply what I was learning. I love how they connect the students through slack so you can ask questions, and bounce ideas off each other. Although I don't think I will be doing any major coding soon, this has already helped me in my current role communicating with developers and knowing how to translate business needs more clear. I am excited to continue to apply my new skill. Thank you SheCodes!!
I had no idea what I was going to get into when I jumped into this course but it was great! It was the perfect beginner's course for easy gathering of information and the challenges required hard work but also a bit of fun.
I have found this course to be very fun & challenging! My interest in front-end development is continuing to grow and having the coding experience will expand my career opportunities I am pursuing in graphic design. Overall I am very impressed with this course and would highly recommend others to take it as well!

SheCodes gets you creating content right off from the beginning and is quick to show you how all the different languages and tools work together. Highly recommend!
I really enjoyed this course. I work in Marketing, so while I'm not creating sites from scratch, I do help build landing pages and customize our website. This course has given me the knowledge to inspect pages and find the area I need to make changes related to copy, font colors and sizes, button actions, and more. I am considering taking additional courses to help build my personal website rather than using premade templates.

I love SheCodes! Matt's teaching style fit me well and the structure of the classes helped me stay accountable on my learning journey. I've tried other courses but had to take a break from them because they were overwhelming with information overload. I love how SheCodes teaches you what you have to know *at this level* so that you can practice and apply it. I learned some great HTML and CSS that I wish I learned in other classes, and picked up the basics of Javascript in last week! The final project was also really fun! I highly recommend SheCodes!
As someone who started out with almost no knowledge of coding before taking this workshop, I found SheCodes to be an extremely helpful introductory program. I feel like I learned so much in a short amount of time and I feel more confident about my future as a coder after completing it.

Being an absolute novice was extremely intimidating...I wasn't sure what to expect. Matt's clear and concise demo/instructions, along with the small challenges allow you to PRACTICE little by little on your own, which surely allows you to build your confidence as you move through the courses. SheCodes has been the most pleasant learning experience of ANY subject I've ever taken, and I highly recommend to any woman willing to take the leap of faith like I did. This has been such an inspiration to me, that I'm taking the SheCodes React program next. I certainly am excited for the road ahead, and wouldn't have the confidence to pursue my career change if it wasn't for Matt and SheCodes!
This is not my first bootcamp. The first bootcamp I took, I was not able to complete. However, SheCodes, by far surpasses! The way the content and information was presented made it so much easier to learn the material and remember.
I really enjoyed the basics course, I feel like it was a good intro to web development and a great place to start if you don't know if you'll like it!
I went into SheCodes with no experience whatsoever in coding but a ton of enthusiasm and a strong will to learn. As a pretty much beginner, with the bare bones of HTML (Thanks Myspace!), this was great course and I'm so looking forward to continuing the curriculum. The material was concise and easy to digest. As a first time mother of a 3-month old that only sleeps in 40 minute increments π this was a course that I was more than able to commit to and actually retain the information while also having some creative time playing with code. I'd been thinking about taking a coding class for a while, but it was a little overwhelming not `knowing where to start. After seeing an ad for SheCodes and attending a free class, I decided to give it a shot. Matt was an awesome teacher and I enjoyed how each concept was broken down and the practice questions that came after. I also really appreciated the flexibility around completing the coursework since I work full-time. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I'm glad I gave it a shot.
