Grateful for this new knowledge on how to make my code responsive! Websites that don't work on mobile are a pet peeve of mine...now I know how to prevent this in my own work :)

I'm thankful that Matt took the time and had the idea to create SheCodes!! This will help me in my career!

I enjoyed the journey of learning the basics of coding! The lessons were filled with information, but small and easy to digest. I'm looking forward to continuing my coding journey with the next workshop!

Coming from my background as a musician, coding feels both unfamiliar and also similar to learning a new language, like French or music. Even if it all seems new at first, elements become more familiar with use. The lesson videos move quickly but they're packed with information and you can always go back to review.

I loved this course! I was nervous going into it, but the content is structured into digestible chunks so well and I find Matt easy to follow along with. The weather app was a fun project and I feel so proud of what I made. 🤩 Excited for what's next!

Amazing workshop teaching me about responsive design.

I have always felt intimidated by coding but it was something I knew I wanted to learn eventually. I am glad I shared my interest in SheCodes to my significant other and received the support and final push I needed to attend the introduction workshop. Matt's introduction workshop made me feel empowered to code and I have gain a newfound motivation to create and continue my coding journey. I appreciate Matt and the SheCodes team creating a space where others similar to me can learn to code in a supportive community. Thank you for encouraging us to make mistakes and learn through failure. For a long time I have wanted to attend college courses for coding but I have not had the chance. SheCodes is a blessing and I am beyond thankful to have started the program. Very informative lessons and the learning structure is amazing. I love the engagement!

I have signed up for the SheCodes Max program, so far it has been a wonderful journey. Looking forward to the next several weeks!

After the Basics Add-On Workshop, I am more confident in playing with CSS.

I would highly recommend this workshop to absolutely anyone who is interested in pursuing coding as a career or even as a hobby. The lessons are explained in a matter where it is so easy to understand. I am taking this course while working over 65 hours a week at my current employment, and it allows me to understand in a short time and successfully complete my assignments. If i can do it anyone can do it.

It was good experience going through and building a portfolio.

The responsive add-on workshop was challenging to me, but it gave me a lot of knowledge of how to create a responsive website. I had fun learning about embeds, and how a responsive website should look like. If you haven't learning that much about responsive website, this would be the workshop for you.

This project was actually pretty fun and much easier for me to understand, for the most part! Can't wait to see what is next!

This course was great for a beginner looking to get into coding, the video lessons were detailed and easy to follow. While I didn't need much personalized help, I would've liked more feedback on how to improve my homework assignments. I had a lot of fun these few weeks!

SheCodes gave me the confidence in coding that I needed to feel comfortable enough to venture into web design options for my current Communications/Marketing/PR job for a nonprofit. Although it was hard at first and I had to figure some things out on my own, the team was very helpful on Slack and Matt's videos provided enough guidance to point me in the right direction. Thank you SheCodes!

This was by far my favorite project. I had a lot of fun learning this material and creating this site-it really solidified any confusion I had from the main Responsive section. I feel more confident than ever!

I enjoyed the course, very informative and easy to follow!!!

This workshop really demystifies and explains every single detail since the beginning and makes it so easy to understand. You go much deeper in JavaScript, APIs, Github, Netlify, hosting process, etc. You start understanding the whole process and falling in love with coding. I feel like I'm designing and creating my own art❤️! Can't thank you enough.

Learning React was challenging but the dopamine rush that you get when you fix those silly little mistakes such as forgetting to capitalize something or forgetting a comma, and then suddenly your app looks awesome and everything works the way you intended is so so so great! I will keep learning React because as Matt said, the best way to learn is to keep practicing it until everything makes sense.

This has been a great intro course to coding and helped me understand the differences between HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Started react seemed like the most challenging thing so far. With the help of Matt and the SheCodes team I'm excited to dive deeper into react and learn more about what react has to offer.

I usually get bored very easily. This course has kept me engaged and keeps me wanting to learn more.

Creating a world-clock was so fun and interesting.

SheCodes has helped me gain the confidence I need to pursue computer science again. I originally went to university to major in computer science without having true interest or prior knowledge, but I always knew I wanted a career in technology. Along my SheCodes journey, I've discovered that there's a whole world of possibilities with coding, including an art form called generative art! Thank you SheCodes for providing me an amazing learning experience and I hope to progress in my coding journey with you.

Such an easy to follow workshop! Doing this workshop has deeply increased my understanding of how websites are created, which has only increased my skills as a project manager.

This really kickstarted my continuing education with coding and software development! I love that each lesson was only about ten minutes! It worked so well with my current full time job!

I had the opportunity to learn coding in high school but refused because I thought it was complicated. This course was fun to go through and learn the basics of HTML, CSS, and Java. I like that the deadlines for homework help keep you accountable so you don't end up slacking off.

Gaining more experiences after the basics program made me realize that there are always new things to learn, which I enjoy.

So far it's an amazing coding journey! Simple explanation, interesting project..

I am glad I took all these courses and learned something new. I definitely am not a fan of React but I know once I continue to learn on my own it will get easier.

SheCodes is amazing! I got stuck a few times but was provided with many resources to solve the problem. Matt is encouraging and realistic about all of the activities.

Great add-on project!

Building a personal website was SOOO fun, you use everything you have learned. I was amazed that I gained such knowledge and remembered how to do the things that we talked about in the first two workshops. {😃}

Really great recap of everything learned and loved being able to create a basic project! Also loved the focus on css.

I continue to enjoy fine-tuning and advancing my coding skills through these projects!

As a stay at home mom I knew absolutely NOTHING about coding but it had always peaked my interest. Matt explains everything so clearly and I love that you have many options to seek help for whatever you're having difficulty on. If you're thinking about joining do it, I promise you won't regret it. It was the best decision of my life I can't wait to keep going.

I really liked this add-on. I learned a lot and the project was fun.

I have a 10 month old baby and I can say I am so proud of myself for finishing this it was a bit tough towards the end but I got through it !!!!

Nothing but praise to the team for being super helpful and accommodating. This lesson was broken down very well. Learning React was a challenge to learn outside of SheCodes but with the lessons I was able to get a better insight.

SheCodes is a great resource that allows women of all ages to embrace their desire to learn a different "language". Very good experience working on addon project

I loved this workshop! I learn so much and more. It was a great experience and it was a lot steps.

I didn't know anything about coding before this workshop, I'm very thankful for this type of easy way to get into coding, it was incredible, I can't believe I expanded my coding concept, and now I feel more secure around it.

I would definitely recommend this program for beginners. Learn a lot even in first course.

SheCodes Basics was an EXCELLENT experience. I am pumped to continue the journey and move on to the max version. I have always been scared of "STEM" programs because I've never been very "quick" when it comes to logic. But Matt made this course easy to understand. He really understands what the student needs in order to get it -- or at least feel like they can get it. He pushes students to do the heavy-lifting so that we can genuinely learn the material. He assures students throughout the course that, even if they don't get it now -- they will get it with practice. One thousand times thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team!

For having so much information thrown your way, these workshops really cover everything simply and in detail, making it easier to learn and complete the homework and projects. I loved creating a portfolio to practice the latest lessons and display my projects all in one place.

As an IT professional who decided to learn coding just for fun, I can attest that it has been a rewarding experience so far!

It was very exciting to learn something from scratch! I have never done any kind of coding before SheCodes and to be able to complete this was really amazing. It was challenging and fun to learn all the JS techniques. The support you get from the team is great. I will keep going until I complete the full course. It's like once you start, you can't stop.

I have continued to enjoy learning coding with Matt :) In the add-ones, I like that he provides multiple style references so we can choose to follow the one we like.
