I learned a lot from SheCodes plus. I used to be scared of javascript but now I have gained some confidence and admiration of the language through this workshop. I had a lot of fun working on the assignments especially when my codes came alive. Every lesson gets more and more difficult and each time I think, I wouldn't be able to grasp the concept but as soon as I start coding is when everything starts to come together. all thanks to Matt for sharing his talent and time to make the videos and explaining thoroughly through each lesson. & last but not the least, the availability of the slack community. Fellow coders and TAs were always prompt answering questions. This workshop encourages me to learn more and I am looking forward to the next!

Super grateful I took this class. I was lost in what I wanted to do after my career switch from pre-Physician Assistant. I had an idea that I am interested in UI/UX Design but after this class, I realized that I am also passionate about coding and I am potentially thinking in pursuing a career as a UI Developer. I did not have any coding experience but Matt made the classes fun and easy to learn. I had a super fun time working on my first coding project! :)
Like many others, I was very much nervous getting started with coding. I was excited but it felf so foreign. SheCode Basics was the perfect tool to help break the ice for me. There is so much more to learn out there and I want to learn it all! It's still somewhat scary each time you have to jump another level, and there are moments where you will doubt yourself, but that's ok. You remember that the course gave you some great tools in your toolbox and all you need to do is remember where to go find them. Thank you SheCodes!
I came to this course being very skeptical because I had never done an online class and because I knew NOTHING about coding. I am so happy I did this! It was easy to follow, the way Matt explained everything was very easy to understand and will definitely keep going with the next course!
This was my first experience with coding, I appreciate the step by step and use of Slack to help one another out.
This was an awesome workshop! I was concerned I wouldn't be able to grasp the concepts discussed, but Matt explained everything extremely well. I also have an extremely demanding toddler, but was still able to complete all of the assignments without any issues! I enjoyed learning the subject matter and look forward to moving on to SheCodes Plus!

I loved my experience going through the SheCodes coding bootcamp. I never felt like I had to figure it out on my own. Having access to the chat to ask questions and search for answers definitely made my coding experience that much easier.
I had some free time and came across SheCodes, clicked on the link to see what it was all about. I have always wondered how it all worked, especially now a days with everything being so digital. I would recommend other to learn from this. One thing is stay on top ladies, donβt get left behind.

Great experience learning the basics of coding. It's eye opening to see just how achievable it is to learn. The concepts are broken down into bite sized pieces making it manageable to learn, and it fits in well to a busy schedule!

The mission itself - that of encouraging women all around the world to skill up in today's Tech dominated world drew me closer to sign up for their workshops! The tutorials are byte-sized and easy to follow along allowing for an easy grasp of conceptual learning by doing! Love the added touch of a Delac Foundation program that supports learning for earnest learners in developing nations! I'm looking forward to learning along and helping the broad & diverse slack community of women learners skill up in any and every way I can as we plow through the weekly well-paced materials!

I have wanted to try coding for years but it was always so intimidating, then I found the free class on SheCodes and thought I'd give it a try and I'm so glad I did! Matt makes learning so fun and easy!
As someone who has had no prior experience with coding (and genuinely thinking I would never learn), SheCodes was amazing at explaining step-by-step what coding elements are, what they did, and how to build upon all the lessons. I've been super excited to show my husband the webpage I've built and have shown a few friends some of the extra pages I've built from scratch as well. This has been a really amazing course, and I can't wait to continue my journey and take a step deeper into the coding world.

As a beginner, I have thoroughly enjoyed what I have learned and applied thus far. I am able to keep up with the lessons without feeling overwhelmed. I am looking forward to continuing my journey with SheCodes Plus.
The workshop is fairly paced and broken up into pieces that will help you learn and troubleshoot your code.
Never would I ever have thought that I would be interested in coding but SheCodes made it so fun and enjoyable to learn. I have completely made a 180 on the way I see coding, especially for women. I always thought in order to be a coder you had to be a genius but I have learned anyone can do it if you are willing to put in the work. I have enjoyed these past three weeks of learning and challenging myself to the fullest. I will absolutely be taking what I have learned from this workshop and bringing it with me through the next. I am looking forward to taking the SheCodes Pro workshop. I absolutely recommend SheCodes to anyone interesting in learning to code. As one who has experienced this workshop and wasn't sure how I'd feel about coding, this has changed my entire idea of coding and has given me the opportunity to think of a possible career path.

Wow, I have built an actual weather app! The skills I'm gaining in SheCodes are taking me to my next level of creativity as an artist and I am so excited for the next class.

I started looking into beginner coding courses when I realized I needed a career change, Matt and SheCodes allowed me to dip my toes in and decide if this is something I am really interested in pursing. I came across a SheCodes ad on instagram. Didn't look into it much until i came across it for a second time. I had decided to sign up for the free class & was very interested in learning more. i'm so happy i took the class and i cannot wait to continue to learn more!
I enjoyed this class a lot, I'm still unsure if this career could be right for me though. Its a lot to learn but Matt made it as simple as possible I believe. Although, I did spend 2-3x more time on assignments as Matts projections.

Working for TikTok before and now, Asurion, sparked my interest in all things tech-related but mostly coding. The thing is, I didn't know where to start so I spent weeks and weeks looking for the perfect online coding class. Yes, there's a lot of free courses out there, but I know myself. Without proper structure and motivation, I'd simply fail. I was so glad then when I saw an ad for SheCodes on Instagram. I looked it up, went through each workshop's details to see which one fits me the most, read the testimonials, even checked out some of the alumni's LinkedIn profiles to make sure the reviews were legit. And it was. I just finished SheCodes Basics and couldn't be happier and more proud of myself. Matt is an amazing instructor--he's clear and explains things really well. As someone with minimal coding background, I was able to grasp everything Matt talked about easily. I also love that the lessons are structured and that each lesson is followed by challenges where I get to practice what I just learned. Pretty easy to follow. I'm a bit too eager to experiment and be creative so my lack of knowledge in this area made it harder than it should have been. Follow the steps that are given and this course is very informative and inspiring. Don't let the small things hang you up. Ask for help.
I found SheCodes at a perfect time in my life: while I was between jobs and thinking I should add to my skill set as a graphic designer. SheCodes has an amazing community, fun interface, and great instructor! The courses get right to the point, and I feel I'm learning the most current and necessary information, fast. Most importantly, I feel very connected with this course and learning style. Everything is straightforward and organized, and the overall experience has been fun!

I completed SheCodes Pro after the basic course. I continue to be astonished at the efficiency of the lesson plans and Matt Delac's instruction style. I recommend the Pro course in particular if you are looking into a career in front-end development.

SheCodes has given me the confidence and knowledge to start pursuing my dreams. The basics class covered more than I thought the program would, and I'm already using what I learned to help with development at my current job. I was a bit skeptical when I signed up, but after completing the basics course I feel that I am ready to sign up and complete the pro course and finally be able to switch career paths and work in the tech industry!

I felt very uninspired and burnout at my current job position /IT Asset Analyst/ so I persuaded my boss to pay for SheCodes course. It was the best decision ever! Now I can learn new skills in my working time and I am sure that once I will get the final certificate from advanced part I would be able to leave that boring job behind and deep dive into coding where I have much more space for creativity :) I would recommend SheCodes to every woman, cause it gives you not only coding skills but general view into logic, problem solving and collaboration with community online.

I had tried coding before in high school, and had difficulty understanding, so was a bit apprehensive about coding. After having attended the free workshop, it gave me the courage to try one more time. This coding introduction workshop makes coding easy to understand, and allows complete beginners to get first steps into coding!
I`m so glad I started this program. I used to think that coding was intimidating but now that I understand it better I feel like I can master it in time.

Coding is HARD and this workshop breaks it down into manageable steps you can follow along and before you know it, you've built an app!
I have learned so much being a part of SheCodes. After completing SheCodes Basics, I went on to sign up for SheCodes Plus, and I plan to finish Responsive and React! I am constantly amazed at how much I have learned and how I have grown. I started out with no coding knowledge or experience and can now read, write, and understand code. Matt is such a great teacher! I absolutely love how he breaks down each new concept and how each lesson builds on the other.
The first week of this course was overwhelming as someone completely new to coding. After spending time reviewing the videos and much practice it became easier. I enjoyed learning a new skill and will hopefully continue this new adventure.

I started with SheCodes Basics a few months back and really enjoyed the class and everything I was learning, Matt does a good job of explaining things and letting you see his work as he goes. I've made the time to go through the current three other courses available. Finishing SheCodes Plus was challenging, but really fun and I feel more aware of what goes on behind the curtain now. I look forward to starting SheCodes Responsive and React next!
