As someone who just got into programming, I tend to have a hard time keeping myself in check when learning something new outside of school. Through SheCodes, I was able to pace myself weekly. I grew my front-end web development skills with lessons that were easy to follow and challenges that were fun to solve! I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone looking to learn more about front-end development.
I'm in love. It was easy and fun to learn. I'll be taking more courses to hopefully be able to make a career change!
SheCodes 3 week course was a fantastic way to me to get a basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The course included easy to understand videos and lots of practice. The 3 week course was an awesome introduction, highly recommend to those who might just be curious, I think you'll come out knowing if you want to pursue learning more about coding, because you get just enough exposure to coding. I will consider them in the future if I want to learn more on this subject.

This course was perfect that even a mom with a newborn could handle and an incredible introduction to coding that I genuinely enjoyed! I'm currently on maternity leave and wanted to do something for myself during my time away from work while my son napped during the day. This course opened my eyes to the world of coding. As a Product Manager, I cannot recommend more than for all PMs to take SheCodes to better understand what our engineers do on a day-to-day basis for better collaboration and product development. Bravo, SheCodes team and thank you Matt Delac for creating a space for women everywhere to learn coding!

I am inspired, and this is coming from someone who has a fashion design background. If you're unsure, do it! It'll be worth it as long as you put in the work. They are all helpful. :)

This is a great workshop if you're looking to dip your toes into the coding world but aren't ready to commit to a full time coding boot camp or university degree. It is a great beginner course
As a complete beginner to coding, I wanted an introduction that involved more instruction and guidance than being fully self-taught as I felt I would probably give up if I tried to teach myself from scratch. SheCodes was the perfect mix of guidance but also letting us figure some parts out ourselves, and showing us how/where to find external resources to help. I have learnt so much over the basics workshop and feel prepared to branch out into more technical areas and hope to take another more advanced workshop in the future!

This course was so much fun! I really feel like I have a great foundation for coding and feel confident I can continue to learn more on my own. It's also given me resources for clearer communication across teams in my role at a tech company, where I work with many product managers and developers.

I finished SheCodes Basic in early June while I had more free time at work and wanted to upgrade to the Pro program but was just not sure when. I eventually bit the bullet when there was a sale and I am so glad I did. It was not as easy compared to the basic program and with my workload as a full-time lab technician increasing, I was worried about balancing SheCodes with my everyday life but I am glad I made it happen. I am excited about the next two programs and feel confident that I can complete it.
I had a very good experience and the courses were very detailed. I think I have a much better grasp on coding.
I have worked with developers in my professional life and was always intimidated by the work they did. While on maternity leave I got an ad for the free workshop and decided to check it out. I was sold and signed up for the basics course. I had exactly 3 weeks of maternity leave left so squeezing in the time was a little tough but I made it happen. It was great to see that it really wasn't that bad. Matt is an excellent teacher and really shows how simple it can be. Having support available on Slack also was great because I saw others also had some of the questions and difficulties I did. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone curious about code. Now that I know it's not so scary I can consider pursuing it further.

Great entry-level course! I found the course informative and pretty easy to follow along. The assignments were very manageable and allowed me to practice skills. The slack channel made it easy to resolve any issues. I found this course to be a useful introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I think that some of my coding experience in other languages/programs aided my understanding throughout this course. The self-guided structure of the course was great for my schedule and allowed me to complete the workshops when I was available that week. I wish there was feedback on homeworks and projects. There were examples of a solution that was available after you submitted your assignment, but I think it would be useful to have more specific feedback as well. Overall, I would recommend this course!
This course did a great job of teaching the basics of html, CSS, and JavaScript. The assignments are thorough and allow for good practice of the knowledge gained throughout the course.
I was hesitant to move onto Plus from Basics, but I'm really glad I finally did it! This workshop really challenged me to be creative and put together all the lessons we have completed thus far. The video lessons are clear and the Slack chat is supportive as usual. Some days I felt frustrated but the fellow peers and instructors in Slack are so encouraging and helpful. I was able to complete tasks at my own time and extensions are generous as well. I am excited to see y'all in the next workshop! I really enjoyed this course. I find it super important that the narrator speaks in a very clear way and easy to listen to. I went into this course with some knowledge of HTML but this really cleared a lot up for me. It was also very exciting to start playing with Javascript. I am looking forward to starting more workshops. Thank you SheCodes!

Great coding workshop for learning the basics!
SheCodes is an excellent workshop that expanded my knowledge of coding and helped me discover many resources to build a webpage. I thoroughly enjoyed building my final project because it was my first time building my own webpage. I've become a better coder thanks to SheCodes. Of course, I did not become a great coder overnight, but thanks to SheCodes' workshops I was able to learn at my own pace. Thank you SheCodes for an amazing coding course. βΊοΈ
The workshop has opened the world of coding for me. I didn't know anything about coding, but SheCodes has taught me a lot from the comfort of my home. I understood everything and found out that coding can be so much fun! I knew absolutely NOTHING about coding or programming languages before taking this course, so I was pretty nervous about my ability to be successful before starting. I was hooked after the first lesson/challenge, and all of my fears disappeared. I honestly couldn't wait to learn more and practice my newly learned skills. The curriculum is setup in a way that is approachable, manageable yet challenging, and gratifying. If you're thinking about signing up-go for it!

It wasn't that difficult as I thought. I am glad I had a great teacher to make things easy. The short videos help so you don't feel like you have to watch hours of videos before you get to try or do anything else.
The classes were very easy to understand, especially for those at a beginner level. I am impressed with the skills I have gained from SheCodes. It has given me the confidence to continue learning coding and work on other projects. Great program!

This was a great crash course in coding. I learned a lot in a short period of time! I plan to check out the more advanced classes because this one was so easy to follow.
When I started looking for programs, I was overwhelmed with options. It seemed like everyone was trying to convince you that they were the best option in the market. I was on the verge of giving up until I found SheCodes. They didn't market themselves as the best in the market, they marketed themselves as the best for YOU based on YOU.
I learned something new. That's always cause for celebration.

The SheCodes Basics workshop was just what I was looking for. While I've been using HTML in my work as an email marketing and e-commerce specialist, I haven't had a good understanding of how to actually use it. Now, I feel much more confident in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, thanks to SheCodes. The lessons were easy to understand, informative, and left me with a practical understanding of coding for my day-to-day.

All I can say is WOW. I came into SheCodes with a little bit under my belt when it came to coding. So I was a little nervous and didnβt know what to expect out of this or out of me. But I jumped right in and everything came naturally. It made me feel like I belong. Like this is my purpose. Itβs the best feeling. A feeling I couldnβt really explain. But Iβm glad I choose SheCodes because it gave me my confidence and knowledge.
At first I looked at coding to be very intimidating to even try. Now, after a few weeks I was able to create a page. This is only the beginning. I am so excited to see where I will go from here.
I originally enrolled on a University course and I immediately hated it. I have to say that SheCodes has been VERY enjoyable, the concepts are easy to understand and applicable, the assignments make sense and it is actually a lot of fun!
