I recently completed SheCodes Responsive. This workshop taught me how to design sites that are mobile-friendly using Bootstrap, CSS Media Queries, and more. I would highly recommend this course; it is very important to ensure optimal usability and appearance regardless of a user's device.

Wow; learning react couldnāt be more easier, I have try to learn it from internet but it was overwhelming and frustrating but SheCodes was something else but I admit it was a little bit hard at first but as I progressed it became more and more easy.

Also, I'm a mother and two beautiful kids and I have a master degree in guidance counselor.As a career counseling, I decided to change career and explore the technology field. In the beginning I feel a little scared because I for my age (43 years old), but thanks to this course it gave me the confidence to continue preparing to find a job in the area.
This was challenging, but I enjoyed the challenge. The videos and amount of support received helped to make the content approachable and doable, which I appreciated. I look forward to the next workshop and to learning more!

I had attempted to learn CSS/HTML on my own previously to no avail, but learning it through SheCodes made it so much easier to follow and learn. The basics course also introduced JavaScript in a way that made it seem less intimidating as other websites I've seen previously.
I like the hands on approach to the course. It has been fun and interesting learning to code as someone who is not tech savvy at all. This has been a great experience and I look forward to continuing in this journey!

I've already learned so much from the basics course, I'm excited to learn more with all of She Code's courses. I had limited knowledge in coding before the class, and was fairly intimidated by JavaScript, but I feel now that I have a better grasp on functions.
I've previously been too intimidated to dive into some of these more popular frameworks for fear of them going totally over my head. It was so easy to learn since it was broken up into tiny steps with lots of opportunities to practice the concepts of the week!
SheCodes Plus was so fun! I was so stoked to have created my very own live website! There were a couple times where I didn't understand the JavaScript, but rewatching the videos helped so much! Matt really explains the JavaScript thought process so well & he's not super technical with his explanation so anyone can understand him. I like how he mentions the common mistakes & he vocalizes his thought process even when the coding goes wrong - it reassuring. š hehe. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed SheCodes Plus, but I still feel like there is plenty more to learn! Can't wait for the next workshop! - Happy Coder š
My Experience with SheCodes was amazing 10/10 highly recommend.
After completing Shecodes basics, I had to keep going and push myself. After completing plus, I feel incredibly accomplished. This program was tough to understand at first but there was no easier way to learn than under Matt's guidance. I had all the resources I needed to be successful. I was not thrown to the wolves. I will continue on my Shecodes journey here and keep learning and growing. I absolutely love these programs and I am excited for the doors this new knowledge will open for me.
I loved taking this course! It is the right amount of simplicity, challenging and fun!!! The videos are well thought out for you to understand just about everything and get you thinking critically on how to do some lessons. Slack is very helpful for referencing questions from other students. Knowing you will receive help from staff within 2 days is also very comforting. You are not alone on your coding journey.
Good foundational knowledge of React
This was so fun to code and the outcome always is so rewarding! The more projects I do the easier it gets.
I absolutely loved SheCodes Responsive, creating a portfolio was a much more interactive experience using the knowledge I learned in the previous courses. I decided to go for the photography portfolio to showcase some of my pictures taken over the years. With my previous knowledge, I was able to build a responsive website which also looked good! This project was one of the most exciting ones, as I was able to show what I am passionate about.
I truly enjoyed the Basics Add-On project. The step-by-step instruction really helps out when you get lost. "Dark theme" was challenging for me, but I continued rewriting the code until it worked out.
Great add on to the SheCodes Responsive course.
