SheCodes has meant a lot to me. I have had coding in the back of my mind for a long time, yet I was too scared and intimidated to dive into it. I've watched many 1-2 hour short webinars about different disciplines in coding (PM, QA, etc.), yet they all looked too complicated without having a prior foundation. The moment I watched Matt Delac's ''Free Coding Class'' it felt different. I was more capable of following along, and I was actually understanding. I even found it fun! I'm so glad I went for 3-week basic class, and I now feel more empowered, confident and able to take the next lessons!
I highly recommend SheCodes for beginners who want to learn to code. It was easy to follow and made coding approachable and fun.
I loved learning with Matt he did very well explaining everything. When i got stuck i would just go back on the video where i was stuck on or if the code wasn't working and then i was able to solve my own issues.
This course is ideal for those who work and would like to learn a coding skill. I loved learning to code with SheCodes and I hope you do too!

SheCodes was an excellent, challenging, fast paced experience of learning the basic elements of HTML, CSS and Javascript in bite size, easy to digest, weekly classwork videos and assignments. Those quick easy wins are euphoric and give you the momentum to push past any troubling moments while you are learning. Matt has a great energy. He gives the tools you need to complete the assignments and projects in a way that is exciting. The knowledge you gain teaches you to recognize code in the things you already use and allows you to dream about what you can create once you gain the knowledge SheCodes provides.
I'm celebrating a personal win today. Although it took me a little longer, I completed this course while in treatment for cancer. Thank you to Matt and the team for getting back to my questions and making these lessons easy to follow. I'm looking forward to continuing learning with SheCodes Responsive in a few weeks! I had fun! :D
I really enjoyed Matt's teaching style when learning during the Basics Course! He was able to explain the material very well and thoroughly. I didn't know where to start when it came to trying to teach myself how to code and was always on the fence about the FREE coding class in itself. But after listening Matt breakdown the curriculum step-by-step, I joined a free workshop and signed up for the Basics course the same day!
I absolutely loved the SheCodes Plus workshop. It was fun, inspiring, and at times-challenging. I can't believe I've been able to learn how to build a weather app from scratch in so little time. I'm excited to take on the next challenge and continue to improve my code! Thanks Matt and team!
I tried this out just because it looked interesting and I had been casually learning how to code with different apps. This course showed me that 1) it's not as hard as I thought it would be and 2) I really enjoy coding! As a painter by trade, I was under the impression that coding is for "math-y, smart people" but coding is like a huge puzzle that you put together and ultimately design a different kind of artwork. Matt breaks down different steps and concepts into very manageable chunks of information that easily build on top of each other. I am so grateful to SheCodes for opening this door in my life and showing me another opportunity!

I really enjoyed working with SheCodes and learning the basics. The tutorials were easy to follow and I didn't feel overwhelmed or pressured to get the work done which helped me be more relaxed and enjoy the process.
SheCodes Basics was a great introduction to coding. I never had a class that simplified the coding language like this course. I really enjoyed the challenges and discovering all that I can do! I look forward to getting more in depth with coding in the future.

I feel like such an old fart lately, its been a great time learning about coding. I am better able to troubleshoot and communicate with IT support at my job, it makes things much easier.
This was so fun and so helpful! I work in digital marketing and with developers everyday, but taking this gave me so much more depth of knowledge to do my job! Can't wait to continue to learn!
Learning the essentials in this boot camp has already helped me understand web design to a much better degree. Even after this first workshop, I am already communicating better with my team of developers and am understanding how to design better for web.
Thanks to SheCodes I'm able to learn how to code while still working full time! Few secondary education options are accessible to me because I have to work full time to support myself, but SheCodes allows me to learn a new skill to make more money one day while still having time for my life in the meantime!

I was initially intimidated by the prospect of diving into coding since I lack the background, but am surprised by how fun it is and how much I've learned already!

I am SO glad I chose SheCodes. After paying a pretty penny for another coding bootcamp and having a really negative experience, I was very hesitant about joining but I am so happy I did. I am a single mother and I work full time with the Post Office. I recently graduated university and I've been having a hard time finding a career with my degree, so I got into SheCodes to find a career path that would allow me to spend more time with my seven year old son and do something he's also interested in (coding).
This course was well-structured, fun, and also challenging. The lessons were well structured and informative and the instructor does a fantastic job of breaking down and explaining the code and his process. The team was supportive throughout and provided quick responses. Really fun, challenging, and rewarding - would definitely recommend it.

I retired last year from Bank of America and was looking for something to keep my mind active. What I found in this workshop is a possible path to a new career. After 2 weeks I feel I have a good foundation to build on and am looking forward to SheCodes Plus and beyond.

I've always hesitated to try to learn code because it seemed daunting and something I did not know I would enjoy. However, with SheCodes, I've found a new appreciation for learning languages such as Java and HTML. This program and the team behind it are full of people who are always more than happy to help you through your work and adjust if you fall behind. I have a busy schedule as a current student but following the SheCodes program never proved to be a hassle to finish nor a strain on my ongoing schoolwork. I love this program and it is a decision I will continuously thank myself for following through with. I cannot wait to keep going.

Great introduction to coding!! Matt is a great instructor, he teaches in a way that leaves you confident about the information you're learning. INSTANT switch from that "can I do this?" mindset to "I can TOTALLY do this!" It had it's moments but I loved the challenge and learning something new.
It's been great learning how to code from Matt. I feel like I've learned more from Matt than from some of the coding courses that I had to take for university. The weather app has been really fun to learn (frustrating at times) but I look forward to going back to learn it again from Matt and personalizing my weather app better for my portfolio.
