This is a great introduction course to front-end web development. Matt explains the concepts really well and the course is easy to follow.

I thought this workshop course was excellent! I was familiar with HTML, CSS, Java Script from almost 20 years ago, but hadn't touched it since! This was a great refresher, was fun, and challenging!

I liked this section of the workshop, but a bit different from the other workshops where you had to build your own project. This workshop gave you an option so I opted to essentially follow Matthew to replicate his. This was not my favorite workshop and could have skipped it if I knew the layout.
A little challenging but the end result is definitely a fresh air
The add-ons were a great way to provide more practice for each section. React is very difficult, but having these added projects helped enhance my knowledge.
SheCodes was recommended to me by a friend during a time that I thought I was not capable of coding, and I could not be more appreciative of the confidence it has given me. I especially enjoy the personal, kind teaching style Matt brings to his lessons. It really helped me remember why I wanted to learn coding! Matt not only teaches the material step by step but explains the "why" and "how" in the exact way that I had been looking for. The challenges included in the lessons were incredibly helpful as well, and boosted my confidence when working on the final project. I had a lot of fun in this workshop, and cannot wait to start the next!

Instructor Matt does a fantastic job of breaking down the concepts. There is a good balance of demonstrating the concepts followed by practical, hands-on application of those concepts.

Basics Add on was wonderful. The JS did trip me up some but Matt was wonderful at explaining things, which helped process what I was learning.
I am loving SheCodes! The instructions are easy to follow, but the projects are still challenging enough. I always enjoy seeing all of the new additions I can make to my coding, and how many great things I can create with the knowledge I gain after each lesson.

Working full time while trying to learn coding is no easy task, but the SheCodes team has been there to support every step of the way. When I needed help with finnicky codes, the Slack group was there to assist and get me on track. I also needed a few extensions due to crazy work schedule and getting covid, and it was no problem for the SheCodes Team to accommodate those needs. I appreciate that the video tutorials were updated so that the information was accurate when practicing.

SheCodes is good for any age who is willing to take the risk and learn coding.

Probably the scariest part of learning a whole new career path is when the workshops are over and it's time to start actually applying! There are so many helpful tips and resources in this extra workshop and while I'm still nervous, I feel like I have some great tools to work off of.
I have completed other programs before but I didn't gain the self confidence I needed to apply what I learned into building projects. After completing SheCodes plus, I gained so much confidence in myself and my ability to code. What I struggled with before, was creating functions and know where and how to call them, after building the weather app with SheCodes(I created so many functions) that they are now my best friend (lol). I now look forward to creating projects to add to my portfolio all thanks to SheCodes Plus!

I recently completed SheCodes Responsive. This workshop taught me how to design sites that are mobile-friendly using Bootstrap, CSS Media Queries, and more. I would highly recommend this course; it is very important to ensure optimal usability and appearance regardless of a user's device.
