I highly recommend taking the SheCodes Basic workshop. It was very helpful and taught me the basics of coding. It was very easy to follow and perfect for anyone who wants to dip their toes into programming! The videos and homework helped me put my skills into practice. Matt explained everything really well and it was really fun to learn. Im excited to learn more and hone in on my skills. I am a college student studying Computer Science and this help put me ahead of the game. I definitely will be going into my sophomore year with more experience. It is totally worth the money!!

I did SheCodes Basics and it was really great. I appreciated how the information was broken down into bite-sized pieces and how there were lots of challenges to test my knowledge. I am grateful that they provide the practical tools for coding as well at the beginning of the course. I would recommend this course to any beginner wanting to learn the basics!

SheCodes Basics provides a nice introduction to the world of coding. Matt's lessons were clear and easy to follow, and the challenges were helpful practice. I feel that I now have a good foundation for learning more advanced coding.

The lessons were so much fun. I really enjoyed the online course. I can't wait for the plus lessons.

SheCodes Plus was pretty challenging but I loved every minute of it and now I feel more confident applying to jobs. Awesome program!!

I had such a fun time learning HTML, CSS, and Javascript more in depth with the SheCodes plus workshop. Even with my schedule as a full time teacher, the set up of the workshop motivated me to learn so many new skills! SheCodes has totally demystified my perceptions of web development and has created a strong interest to continue learning the core principles that make an articulate and stylish digital designer. I never imagined that programming could be this creative and at this point I'm hooked!

WOW! I learned so much these past 8 weeks.I had so much fun creating my Weather app, it was a challenge and honestly I feel quite successful right now. Thanks to Matt and the SheCodes team I am excited to learn more.

I currently work as a quality analyst and do end-user testing. Challenging but rewarding.

I finally learned how to code!!! I tried doing self study and quickly learned that it wasn't working for me. I saw a lot of people posting there certificates on LinkedIn and they mentioned how easy and less complicated the SheCodes learning process was. So I decided to give it a try and I am proud of the results. Can't wait to start SheCodes Plus next week.

I loved being able to apply coding languages learned to actual projects.

I really like the project, Shecodes Plus was little challenging for me but I made it through!!! I enjoyed Matt taking the course step by step and I will continue with the rest of the courses. All you need is patience, time and a little practice, i believe anyone can do it. Please don't give up!!!

These past few weeks experiencing SheCodes for a second time has been amazing! Through the trials and accomplishments, the team has been very supportive and always reminded me to ask for help without hesitation. SheCodes has sincerely changed my life in less than a month! I started the Basics workshop as a complete beginner, and here I am, four weeks later, with more programming knowledge than I ever thought possible. SheCodes's online structure makes it easier for me to balance a busy work schedule and everyday life, while still submitting assignments on time. I enjoyed learning Java script.

I wanted a new challenge in my life and career, as well as a way to flex my creative muscles in a different way. I tried other coding training programs but was left fending for myself if I needed to debug code. However, the Slack component to SheCodes has been a game-changer: I can get support from instructors and students alike! This is the first page I've been able to build from start to finish, and am confident my progression through the full SheCodes slate of programs will give me the skills I need to make the switch to a career in the tech industry!

SheCodes Basics was a great jump start to learning code! I had no idea that I could learn several facets of coding that would enable me to design what I did by the end of the three weeks. The deadlines were truly the motivating factor in keeping me on track. Just knowing that the SheCodes staff would be reviewing your homework weekly made this course easier to stick to in comparison to other coding websites or channels. The solution and slack provide you with a perfect way to help you troubleshoot if you ever get stuck! I'm excited to see what the next round of workshops provide!

I had learned some basic HTML/CSS in university but I wanted to refresh my coding brain and learn a few new tricks, which is why I signed up for SheCodes. Even though it was a short course, I can surely say that I'm walking away with more knowledge and applicable skills than I entered with! I'm excited to learn more about coding and possibly incorporate it into my future career.

In just under three weeks I went from not knowing a single thing about coding, to feeling confident in my ability to understand and learn code. This is wonderful workshop. Am able to recall all my basic concepts. With wonderfully drafted course, I hope I will be able to come up to speed. Matt has picked concepts and have explained the topics in very basic terms and have given extensive explanation with sufficient examples.

Challenging and fun!

The challenges were very helpful for applying my understanding and working my way up to the homework.

It was taught amazingly. Everything was broken down to simplest form to understand.

Absolutely loved it. If I had known coding was this fun, I would have done it a long time ago. Matt explains everything in a simple and calm manner. You feel encouraged every step of the way.

I never would have imagined that I would have built a weather application in my lifetime. I can't believe how much I've learned within these past 8 weeks, and I can't wait to continue learning. SheCodes is the best Coding workshop/bootcamp! I took other classes and our test trails and never was really able to put together the languages and actually understand what I was building. I have been in the customer service industry for years, and the past few months I started looking more into coding. I had never done anything like coding before, so I was a bit intimidated at first, but when I found SheCodes and looked at their programs I was only excited! This course is perfect for beginners, in 1 week I went from knowing nothing to getting certified in intro to HTML, CSS, and Javascript! I'm looking forward to continuing with SheCodes Plus and the other courses after that to further expand my skills. This is exactly the course I needed to start building my career in the Tech Coding world. Thank you SheCodes!

This workshop was a great introductory course for html, css, and javascript.

Matt is an amazing instructor. I'm a slow learner but the way this course is taught coupled with the autonomy of getting to do it at your own pace makes this both enjoyable and easy to understand. I actually look forward to learning from Matt after my 9-5 and started viewing these lessons/challenges/homework as a mental break from my reality. I've already started recommending it to friends. Excited to be continuing onto SheCodes Plus!

This was fun to do. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to complete a website without guidance, BUT I DID! Slow and steady wins the race.

While I found the material foreign, I also found it interesting and fun to learn. Don't give up on yourself if you find it too difficult.
