Very fun and interactive. With this workshop you don't learn by listening or watching, you learn by DOING which is always the most effective. I have absolutely no background in any sort of computer knowledge and this course was extremely easy to understand and very entertaining. The way that Matt explains the concepts and rules is really easy to follow. This course honestly felt like I was playing a game the whole time. Would recommend to anyone.
I have been doing SheCodes for over a year now. Life happened and I found my self having a hard time being able to make time for the assignments. When I finally was able Matt was incredibly helpful and I finally did it. I can't wait for SheCodes pro
I had such a good time completing SheCodes Basics! Each lesson was broken down into small, manageable parts and the concepts were easy to understand. The homework assignments built upon the lessons which made learning that much easier.
I highly recommend SheCodes! Workshop within 3 weeks gave me a lot of information and I was able to create my first project and be proud of myself. I had a blast learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript throughout the Basics course. Matt did an excellent job explaining things, showing alternative ways to do something, and reminding us that it is okay if things get challenging. I really enjoyed using the developer tools to check my work, as this was something I wasn't even aware of. I also liked the exercise where we had to figure out how many people were on the SheCodes website. Everything was very user friendly and accessible. Thank you and I am excited to take more courses!

I've wanted to get into a career in tech over the last couple of months while unemployed. I wanted to see if I was even capable of understanding coding, so I decided to give the SheCodes Basics course a try. The course was great for teaching software development fundamentals such as HTML, CSS, & Java. I still have a long way to go in my journey, but it's nice to know that I am capable of pursuing this.

SheCodes Basic was easy to follow and understand. This introductory course was immensely helpful in contributing to my understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript. All of which I most recently started to use in my current organization. It was an empowering and rewarding experience.
I really enjoyed learning from Matt. He made the concepts easy and fun to learn. I love all the emojis everywhere too haha! 😂 Each lesson was a good length, and the challenges were rewarding to figure out and complete. Every time I sat down to go through some lessons and challenges, I just kept going and going, getting through more than I thought I could in one sitting. I liked listening to SheCodes Radio while coding too. I think my brain really loved learning to code; I got to be creative and logical at the same time! I am a person who has 0 experience in coding. I took a class in SQL/Python and spent months confused and embarrassed. I saw an ad for SheCodes on Instagram and was very intimidated, but determined to gain more skills. The resources are easily accessible and short enough to re-watch as many times as I needed to. I learned new things in every video, and even in the first free meeting. The community on Slack is attentive, responsive, and encouraging. I feel like the team here really wants everyone to grow. Each time I asked for help, I felt like the suggestions were kind and genuine. I never felt belittled. I seriously appreciate SheCodes and will take the rest of the courses. I am already recommending this to the women around me. Best money I have spent in a very long time.

What an AWESOME program! I'm usually an in-person learner but the SheCodes format makes learning and (most importantly) *practicing* these new concepts so easy. The short video format let me squeeze in as much practice as I wanted any time of the day. The structured challenges helped me memorize each new bit of coding before I was given the opportunity to create something original and fun with it. I had a blast creating my final project (I had been scoping out everyone's web pages and brainstorming from day 1), and I can't wait to start the next workshop!
I loved taking this course! I am excited to continue learning with SheCodes. The instructor, Matt, made learning the material fun. I really appreciated how each challenge continues to re-expose you to the previous skills and build on them. Learning each concept in chunks and getting practice with the challenges really helped me retain the information.

Nearly 5 years ago, I had a brain anuerysm, which put me out of work and made me re-think my career. I decided I wanted to be more creative and have more fun in all aspects of life. I took she codes basic in 2020 , did some self studying, and soon realized I needed to complete the entire shecodes pro. I am delighted to study with shecodes and positive this is only the beginning of more greatness to come.
Its was a fun and easy to learn with bite size chunks of info, small enough not to be overwhelming for beginners.
I have learned so much in ONE week. The self-paced structure was ideal for me. I appreciate this workshop and how it helps so many women. Matt and the SheCodes team make learning new skills easy!

With no previous experience in coding, I found SheCodes and Matt's tutorials very easy to follow. I learn well in a school type environment so the challenges were a lot of fun to navigate and having deadlines made sure that I stayed on track. I definitely recommend SheCodes!
