I really enjoyed this course and felt like i got a good understanding of what I would be getting into if i pursue coding!
SheCodes is a great way for beginners who are considering a career path in coding to dip their toes in the water without fully committing to a much more expensive bootcamp. The information is easily digestible and reinforced through homework and exercises.
I really enjoyed learning more in-depth about coding and I am excited to learn more about it. I would highly recommend this program to others.
The self-paced lectures and assignments improved my understanding and hands-on practice of coding. It eliminated the far-reaching idea of what I thought coding was and what was required. Coding can be learned and done by anyone!

I really enjoyed this workshop. Even though it was only 3 weeks, I gained so much knowledge. When I began the workshop I knew a little bit about VS Code, HTML, and CSS. Now that I've finished I've learned even more and I was introduced to JavaScript. I was honestly very nervous about JavaScript but it was taught in a way that made it seem less intimidating and easy to understand. I loved the short lessons and the challenges that followed. It allowed me to test my skills and make sure I was truly understanding the information. The solutions were insightful and I feel like I learned a lot of tips from those as well. I highly recommend this workshop to everyone. Beginners will find it easy to follow and those that already know how to code can refresh their skills.
Can't wait to start another workshop.
I thoroughly enjoyed taking the self-paced Basics class at SheCodes. Matt is an awesome instructor and while classes are pre-recorded, I felt as if they were live because Matt was engaging, entertaining, and really broke down concepts to make them understandable. I loved having the lessons and homework as a I learn by doing. I also had a ton of support with the SheCodes Slack community and was able to ask for help when needed or check the threads for tips and guidance on assignments.
I canβt believe that after 3 weeks I can say that I can code! Matt has done a great job, the lessons are well structured and easy to understand even for someone who has no experience in coding. I can honestly recommend SheCodes to anyone who still hesitates, itβs 100% worthy. Thank you, Matt and whole SheCodes team for creating this course π

Wanted to dip my feet in since I already have coding knowledge but wanted to expand some more, so this was more of a refresher of some sort. Thought that if my experience in the first course went well I would try out the other courses. I'll end up buying the next course, so for everyone who is scared of trying coding I think this is a good step in the right direction! It's super easy to follow and the videos are helpful. The resources they give to each student is a good plus too! Happy coding, everyone! :)
I am so happy to be able to get back to something that I was so passionate about in high school, learning to hone my skills into something workable! The pacing was a little uncertain, but I did end up managing a good schedule.
I really enjoyed this course. I had been trying to learn coding from scratch on my own for a while now and found myself stuck on many occasions. This course helped me feel confident creating a webpage from scratch which was something I was still struggling with. I am looking forward to the next workshop!
Before SheCodes : Professionally an administrative assistant since 2014; I knew I could take my skills to a new level. With the work force going more and more digital, learning how to code was the best decision I could have made. I'm so proud I have the coding skills I gained through SheCodes now! Hard work pays off and I'm so happy to have a skill I can improve on for the rest of my life.
I enjoy learning JS, CSS and HTML on SheCodes! The videos are so detailed and easy to go back to when you need a refresher while coding.
SheCodes has been great! I learned a lot. As someone who is easily distracted its been so nice to be able to rewatch videos over and over again. LOVED IT. The videos are well done and easy to follow. Learned a lot. Recommended it to two friends and they have been enjoying it a lot as well. I'm currently a teacher that hopes to get a better-paying job as a coder and I believe this workshop is a great step in that direction.
SheCodes was such a fun project. The classes were quick, concise, and easy to follow. I will be continuing with the other courses
The SheCodes Basics workshop was great! It was easy to understand and truly a great introduction to coding for someone with no previous experience.
I would highly recommend She Codes to anyone whether or not you are a beginner in coding or have some experience. Although I had experience in Java and Python, I decided to enroll in She Codes because I'm always looking to improve my coding skills and also wanted to gain skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Matt is also a great instructor and his teaching skills are very great making the course super easy to follow. The She Codes team was always available for help with homework if needed as well. Overall, I would highly recommend She Codes!
The goal was to learn more outside of the classroom, and I truly did. It will take practice to get better at coding but I gained so much from the workshop and am interested in taking the higher level ones once I have the time to. If you have any interest, go ahead and scratch the itch. We pay for Netflix subscriptions and overpriced coffee, might as well pay for something that'll set you a part in your field.
I mostly took this course for fun and with the thought that I might someday look into using these skills in a job. I really enjoyed everything I learned, and I will most likely be coming back to take the other workshops so I actually could transition to a career in coding.
SheCodes was a very good introduction to coding for me. I found the material was presented in an easy-to-understand way and did a great job of piquing my curiosity to learn more about coding! I like that the homework assignments reinforce what I learned and that the final project brought everything together.
I cannot recommend SheCodes workshops enough. This is my second one and I'm already deciding which one I'll complete next. I love the challenge and sense of community with the slack channels available.
I'm happy I decided to try SheCodes basics. Matt has shown that coding is not scary and gives you the confidence to do it. I am excited to continue with the rest of the workshops.

I tried every book and online workshop there was to try to learn coding but nothing worked until I decided to try SheCodes. The videos are very detailed and easy to follow and the team is very supportive and quick to respond if you get stuck and need help.
I'm getting my degree in web design and I want to learn more about web development. This workshop helped me so much and will aid in my studies. I plan to take the Pro workshop soon!
SheCodes basics did a great job of explaining coding concepts and served as an informative intro to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript!
I have enjoyed every learning challenge in this course. The first week was the toughest for me due to taking in all of the new information but the SheCodes community in Slack was always super helpful with any questions I had. I've discovered a new (and enjoyable) interest in coding and am looking forward to pursuing more knowledge and experience in it!

Another great workshop! It was interesting to not only learn how to rebuild my vanilla JS weather project using the new skills that we learned for React, but to be able to build a whole other Dictionary project as well. As always, Matt's lessons were easy to follow along, and made learning the advanced concepts less intimidating.
I think this is a great intro front-developer course that shows you the basics of page structure, HTML, CSS, and JS. I highly recommend it!
I know nothing about coding at the beginning now I can say that I can code!! It was a great opportunity and adventure. So much fun than I thought. I'm looking forward to the next level of coding.

So, I came to know about SheCodes through Instagram, but before then I was researching different bootcamps and their prices for learning a coding language, because I heard Python, CSS, and HTML are the easiest ones to learn and can make good money having those skills. What made me go ahead and try SheCodes was reading the "Success Stories" and then the one-time payments for each options, so I can advance to the next ones with more coding languages. I also appreciate the slack team group chats that help with questions regarding each challenges given.

Extremely fun! I got a CS degree in college and started these workshops because we didn't learn much front-end. I feel like I'm learning as much as my college coursework yet am having more fun while doing so!
This program made it easy to learn something that at first seemed very overwhelming. By the end I feel like I know the basics and am confident in my coding.

It is easy to love SheCodes. You get to submerse yourself into the world of coding at your own pace, yet the deadlines help you stay on track. I got very sick during my Basics course (many hospital visits), but yet I persevered and met my goal to finish the course!

I am currently a college student who is a Marketing major. I am someone who loves tech and fashion and want to find a way to combine the two. I have always been someone who liked the creative fields and also am someone who loves a challenge and I feel coding provides that. I am excited to pursue this.

SheCodes has been super interesting and fun! Every lesson is very well taught and the challenges afterwards make sure you can remember and apply what you have learned. When I go to websites now, I always want to figure out how they are coded and there are even times when I think I could do that myself after only 3 weeks! I can't wait to learn more!

I enjoyed taking this workshop. Matt explains everything in much detail and he is easy to follow. I was able to work at my own pace and received much help from classmates and SheCodes staff through Slack. All reference material was accessible at the press of a button if I ever found myself stuck in any particular section of my projects. This workshop was easy to follow, easy to complete, fun, informative, innovative, and encouraging.
I enjoyed having the opportunity to build a new skill in a hobby I've been interested in for a while. I was able to be technical and creative all while problem-solving. It was nice having a flexible schedule to work around my daily life while building a tangible portfolio and downloading software I can look back on and use to foster those new skills. I can't wait to learn more!
HTML/CSS/JavaScript lessons were pretty easy to digest thanks to Matt & his great team and I appreciate all the effort put into this amazing project that introduced me to the wonderful world of coding.

When i looked a lot more into it after wanting to do this for a long time, i learned that it was for every age range. I immediately took the introduction course, immediately signed up for the course. I'm so glad i did! Very easy to follow and i love how i can always go back and review a video if i got confused at any point. I can't wait to continue to learn and code!
After completing the 3 week workshop, I realized that I wanted to continue. I love how SheCodes breaks it down in small steps and allows you to actually create your own projects.

A friend of a friend did SheCodes and she really liked it, so I decided to give it a try. It's pretty straightforward and easy to follow, enough that you don't really need to utilize the support team. That said, if you're thinking of trying SheCodes for the first time, I recommend taking a more advanced course. In the Basics workshop final project, I kept researching how to do certain things I wanted, and it only made me feel that I had so much more to learn.

SheCodes Basics is the perfect entry point to coding. I feel like I have learned so much in these 3 weeks. The course structure was easy to follow and the hands on approach to each lesson was expertly done. I really do feel like I have a solid understanding of coding basics and I am very eager to continue onto the next workshop!

I have some previous experience in HTML and CSS from my high school days so I didn't begin from block one. However, I can say this course challenged me, was super fun and it was so satisfying when you figured out a problem!
In three weeks I felt like I had learned an entire new set of skills! The lessons were easy to follow, and I loved the support I received from the SheCodes community when I needed help. I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone looking to learn basic coding skills.

I am currently a teacher who is passionate about technology. I enrolled in SheCodes to learn more about coding and see if software programming is truly what I wanted to do before committing to a full career change... turns out, it was!!! SheCodes offers a wonderful introduction to front-end development. It has helped me learn code terminology and become familiar with the current programming tools. I now feel confident in my decision for next career steps and feel better prepared for any programming training I sign up for.

I'm so glad I took the free 60-min coding session with Matt. It gave me the confidence I needed to finally try it. I thought JS was going to be the most challenging part, but for me was CSS since your trying to style with code instead of a brush or your apple pencil π ... who knew π€·ββοΈ . Altogether, it was a wonderful experience. Lessons are pretty straightforward and the Slack channels are very helpful! Creating a website yourself is an exciting process and super fun!
I had so much fun taking this course and learning more about the coding that goes into the website my team works on! Javascript was challenging, but I was very excited once I was able to work through how to get my final project to function the way that I wanted it to work.

I'd been thinking about learning to code for a while now, actually ever since I got a targeted ad on Instagram from SheCodes about four months ago π I did some research about different courses, and ended up deciding that not only was SheCodes more affordable than most of the other courses I looked at, but I really liked the idea of how it is set up. The breakdown of ideas is very logical, and incorporating a challenge at the end of each lesson pushed me to actually apply what I had just learned and play around a bit. Also, a HUGE thing for me was access to the slack channels to ask and answer questions. As someone who always had their hand up in school, I was nervous about taking an online course without instructors present to answer my questions. Using the slack channel for my questions was so easy and incredibly helpful! I've also been finding it fun to respond to other people's questions now that I know a bit about what's going on! I am very excited to continue learning with SheCodes.
SheCodes is giving me a chance at a new career path. The classes are self-paced and amazingly easy to understand and focus on. Thank you so much for helping me achieve higher self-confidence!

SheCodes Plus was challenging in a good way. I am very new to HTML/Java Script but Matt is great at breaking down each lesson in a way that is understandable and going step-by-step. This course also taught me that learning HTML takes time and patience so I will continue on this journey!
