I really enjoyed learning about coding and look forward to learning more. The videos were easy to follow and the assignments helped me to better understand the process of coding. I hope to one day have a career as a web developer. I know I will never look at a website again without thinking of the code that was used.

I've been curious about coding for quite some time but was too afraid to try it because a lot of the online boot camps offered online can be quite pricey. Although there are some that offer you the option of paying after getting a job, the price will usually still be in the upper thousands. I found SheCodes which has different workshop options and even offer discounts. I decided to take the risk and try it. So far, it's been very fun and enjoyable! The instructor, Matt, does a great job at teaching!
This is the perfect addition after learning the basics! I enjoyed learning about transform and how to make a light/dark theme webpage. This workshop has also inspired some new ideas that I'd like to add to my previous projects. As always, thank you Matt β‘Looking forward to learning more!

My very first coding projectβa simple but structured portfolio page to showcase my work. I focused on clean HTML semantics and CSS styling, including flexbox for layout. Though basic, this project gave me the foundation to understand how websites are built from the ground up. Skills Applied: HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, responsive basics
I'am beyond satisfied with this part of the program. The structure, methodology, community and dynamic of SheCodes makes everything better, easier and I cannot wait for my next part of the course to come.

This is a great introduction to the world of coding to see what it is about for me as a healthcare worker. It definitely sparked interest to continue this journey. The program is interactive and manageable to learn lesson by lesson. Not overwhelming like some of the other courses. Love that there is a community of shared interests.

SheCodes has allowed me to understand the basics of web development. The videos and resources provided were easy to understand and follow along with. The support system via Slack has been amazing! If you're thinking of signing up, just do it. It's by far the most affordable option I've found online and I don't regret signing up.
Matt is amazing at explaining and very clear, that it makes it very easy to follow along. I was really nervous in taking an online class instead of physically going. But after taking this class and all the convenience given, I see I have made the right decision. And am very excited to keep continuing.

Doing SheCodes Basics has sparked a fire in me I didn't know existed. After having my daughter a little over a year ago, I felt that I lost my spark for creativity, but that all came back when I started learning to code. This has opened up a new world for me and I'm excited to see where this journey takes me.
This training was incredible! At first, I was very intimated at the thought of coding, I never understood what I was looking at. But after enrolling in this course, I have learned so much! I studied computer science in college about two years ago but eventually dropped the classes because I felt I couldn't understand or keep up with the materials. I must say that the Basic's coding workshop is extremely beginner friendly, efficient, and affordable. Before I almost gave up completely with being able to learn how to code and move forward into tech but now, I have my confidence back! I've learned so much taking the workshop and would HIGHLY recommend! I'll be enrolling into the sheCodes Max workshop soon! Thanks Matt and the entire she codes team!

Who knew coding could be so fun?! I've been wanting to learn a new skill and SheCodes helped me accomplish that in the most inviting way. I appreciated the thoughtfulness of the lessons laid out. The instruction was explained in a nonintimidating way for material that seemed scary. I really believe that anyone can code!
I have got to admit, starting out was ROUGH, for me. I am completely new to the world of coding and to say I struggled, is an understatement. I wanted to throw in the towel, 2 days in, but i'm so glad I stuck with it. I've learned so much, and i'm actually enjoying myself now. I recommend this to anyone who is interested in pivoting to another role in your career, or even just wanting to move further in your current role.

This has been a very challenging project. This is a great introduction to the world of coding, I had to get used to the disappointment of the code I wrote not always working and to asking for help. I wouldn't say that if I had to do it all over again I would be able to, without the help of tech support and Matt's videos. At the same time I have definitely learned a lot about APIs, Github, Sandbox, and everything else introduced in this workshop.
This is a nice simple course to refresh myself and the deadlines with the course were helpful to push me along in my journey. I like how you go through everything step by step and put it all together at the end with the end project.
This program was very helpful in introducing me to coding. It had a steady pace and easily digestible videos that gave me clear understanding of the types of concepts I needed to learn. Would definitely recommend to those who have no coding experience and are willing to put in the energy and time to learn the coding basics!

Never in my wildest dreams would I think I would love something so much. I started off going to school to become a lawyer, but as also a Stay at home mom I soon realized I had other passions. I really love what SheCodes has taught me so far, I look forward to learning more in the near future.
This is my 2nd SheCodes workshop. I would recommend this workshop if you are looking to advance your basic knowledge of coding and web development. I really enjoyed learning more complex elements of JavaScript that I didn't know before. I must admit that I felt a bit of disappointment at the very last lesson. Throughout the entire workshop, I was expecting to learn how to add code to convert the weekly forecast for our weather projects into Fahrenheit & Celsius. Instead, the last lesson has us removing the unit conversions entirely from the web page & saying that it is too complex to do for this workshop. I would have really liked to see how to do this. Despite that, I am proud of the web page I built and found this to be another great workshop!
The assignments after each lesson is very helpful.
It's been such a fun and exciting experience doing SheCodes. I'm able to work at my own pace and Matt is an incredible teacher! I recommend anyone considering code to try these courses!

Loved SheCodes! It was a perfect intro for a busy mom because the videos were short - sweet - to the point and then they were followed with a challenge to use the topic just learned. It was so helpful to immediately apply the lessons as it demanded focus and didn't allow multi-tasking. Which most of us are guilty of!

I have been trying to find a coding course that i could stick to for about a year now. This. course doesnt waste your time on tangents, its all actionable items. I love thatafter each day you have skills that you can demonstrate. Highly recommend, and SheCodes radio is 10/10 as well.
This was the first workshop I did, I will also be doing the rest of the workshops that come with Pro. I will say that I knew HTML and CSS before joining the course but I always struggled wrapping my head around Javascript. This workshop gave it to us in bite-size easy to understand pieces and I really think this time around I will soon be called the Javascript master.
The workshop was very informative, thorough, and quite enjoyable. I am confident in my ability to create basic web pages using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. I look forward to taking future workshops with SheCodes to further my knowledge in front-end development and immensely look forward to eventually changing careers. βΊοΈ

I haven't played around with HTML or CSS since making MySpace skins as a teenager. This course was a great refresher to dust off those skills. And I learned a brand new skill with the introduction to Javascript. The lessons were short and straightforward so the time commitment was very reasonable while working fulltime. The challenges for each section helped you build off of each previous lesson, showing how HTML, CSS and Javascript can be used in conjunction. Highly recommend for beginners and those who need a refresher!
I was a bit nervous at first trying to learn a new language. I guess with repetitive steps it helps me feel a little more confident toward my next assignment. I honestly hope I am able to keep up with all these new terms . I'm sure if I keep putting my head to the zone, it will all come into place. Also, as a parent and working at night, it makes it a lot easier for me to have my time to truly understand the step by step process from these workshops. Thank you!
Before starting SheCodes, I had ZERO experience in coding. During my multi-week search to find a source that would teach me coding well, but would also hold me accountable to assignments at a comfortable pace, I finally decided to go with my gut and chose SheCodes. Matt does a great job explaining all the coding language while showing it on video. SheCodes also provides supplemental sources in the majority of the lessons if you want to learn more. Life itself has been very busy so that ability to be able to request for a deadline extension was a very nice touch to the course, as this came in handy for me. If I was every stuck on an assignment, every question I posted on Slack was answered within 12 hours. Overall, I definitely enjoyed this course and would like to move forward to the next workshop!
Coding is proving to be quite challenging, but with the step-by-step teaching style as well as plenty of projects to apply everything you learn as you go, it doesn't feel too overwhelming.
As a coding novice, SheCodes Basics has given me sufficient knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to comfortably create a page from scratch.
I learned a lot from this workshop and enjoyed learning how to code. It was very easy to follow as a beginner and I would highly recommend!
These classes are fun, and they can be a little frustrating but stay with it and you will see the light at the end.
Course was simple and enjoyable! Having the videos there in case I forgot something was extremely helpful!

This workshop has been greatly beneficial. I've learned so much in such little time and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn how to code. Yes you might be able to look up free videos online but having this workshop motivates you to want to get it done. It is structured to teach you in the clearest way possible so you learn everything in a specific order to not get lost. If someone out there is looking for a structured workshop to learn coding, this is a great start!
