I never thought I can understand the language of HTML, CSS and JAVASCRIPT. It is amazing to be able to understand the concept of basic coding and being able to work on very cool mini projects that allows you to be hands on, able to make mistakes and learn from them but above all to have a teacher that created these videos. I am thankful I ran into this website and though you may not be into software programming, I think its great to simply try it out and understand what we use on a daily basis and appreciate all the work that goes into it. I had a lot of fun and considering to learn more. I am in my mid 30's and I am proud of myself. I did not think I can learn something new and it shows me that I am able to do more then I thought and building my own confidence.
I enjoyed my journey in learning with SheCodes excited for the next steps in my coding journey.
I am excited to build my knowledge base with SheCodes. It's a different approach to the standard bootcamp which is refreshing. Being connected with thousands of like-minded women is a great way to build community within the the tech space and one of the main reasons I joined SheCodes!
I'm in the process of changing careers into the tech world, and just finished taking the basics to CSS/HTML/JS course. I still have a long road ahead but I truly believe the class has given me the fundamentals I need to progress forward!

I had very little experience with any coding or computer science in my education and work history before this course. The Basics course was a perfect introduction at a very reasonable price! Matt made it easy to learn using small lessons with interesting projects.
This was a fun extra project. Matt works with you step by step to complete the final project and gives lots of extra instruction along the way. Another super helpful course for beginners.

Having had no experience in Coding, this introduction was everything I was looking for to dive into learning about Coding without feeling overwhelmed or intimidated by what I didn't know or by what others do know. I personally loved the format of this workshop-so very well thought out for online learning and Matt is an excellent instructor. I'm extremely happy that I opted to invest in SheCodes Pro and I am looking forward to learning more!
So far, I've been having a great experience with SheCodes. Matt explains things very clearly, and the videos are pretty easy to follow. I personally take a little longer to understand things; so I make sure to watch each video twice and write notes when he drops nuggets. I'm having a lot of fun; and though some techniques can be tricky, it's a very accomplishing feeling once you get the hang of it!
Matt's explanation in each lesson is very understandable. I enjoyed how this course sets us up with the essential tools and allows us the freedom to go with the knowledge in whichever creative way we want. It would be helpful to understand the theory behind certain concepts more in-depth. As a career switcher currently applying to opportunities, I would've appreciated more guidance on successfully transitioning into a developer/engineer role. Thank you for always responding when I got stuck on lessons! This platform has indeed been life-changing!

This program was so easy to follow and straight to the point, I couldn't recommend it more to anyone who is even the slightest bit curious about coding. I honestly did not know much and took this course to see if coding is something I would consider pursuing and I am happy to say that it is. It is scary to consider a career change after 10+ years in a different field but this course showed me that it wasn't super complicated and definitely possible.

SheCodes is the ABSOLUTE best thing I could have ever taken a chance on! There are a million ads on instagram about everything you could think of, so when I saw the SheCodes ad, I had my doubts but curiosity won out, and I am so glad that it did! This was the best program that my hyperfixating adhd mind could have asked for 😂 You can go at your own pace and everyone is so friendly! The website is intuitive and easy to use and Matt is a wonderful instructor, I can't wait to start Shecodes Plus!
I knew absolutely nothing about engineering a few weeks ago and now every time I type code and something appears in the webpage I am beside myself. I know that with the material I am learning from Matt I will be able to pivot into the career of my dreams.
I'm using this program to advance in the well known company that is Amazon. They have a vast variety of departments to work in. One of my career paths is software development, so I'm taking this opportuntiy .

Loved working on this Add-on project
This was a tough workshop mentally for me. I had to restart is several times, mostly because of personal life getting in the way. Howeverl after finally getting to the final weeks of this workshop, I have completed it with determination. I glad to have been able to do this third workshop and get closer to my goal of becoming a junior front-end developer.
Loved this Add-on workshop as I was able to discover more of my interest and code my hobby project, sharing with everyone what I love doing the most. Yes, you guessed right, watching birds. Thanks to my instructor Matt Delac for coming up with this great idea.

I loved this workshop!! Although it took many requested deadline extensions, it taught some useful coding tools, tricks, and also taught how to think outside the box to find solutions. The project was also really fun to build and rewarding.

I absolutely loved She Codes Basics! As a music teacher who has been in public education for the past 12 years, I was really nervous going into the workshop with no experience in tech. But Matt is a wonderful teacher and I found myself excited for the lessons and surprised by myself at quickly being able to create projects using html, css, and java. This is a really good course for an introduction to HTML, CSS and Javascript. The videos are very easy to follow along with enough time to complete all lessons and projects. At first, it was a bit tricky considering a semicolon was the difference between completion and some 30 minutes spent in complete confusion but once I recognized those small peculiarities and learned from them, the final project was very manageable and everything fell into place very smoothly.
Learning coding feels like learning a new language. Thankfully this course is designed by fluent experts who break it down in comprehensible chunks. I'm really enjoying it!
It's a good introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScipt. It's a lot of information, but the lessons are broken down into small enough sections to help understand the concepts and apply them with hands on challenges.
I love this class! Being able to practice real-life exercises and having access to guided solutions after submitting homework helped me understand the languages even more. I am looking forward to my next class!

It gives you a chance to apply the knowledge from the previous workshop plus learn advanced coding techniques as a beginner developer. I wanted to see what coding was about but there were many bootcamps to choose from and some seemed overwhelming. SheCodes Basics was affordable and it allowed me to learn and try basic coding. If you get stuck on a coding problem, SheCodes provides various types of help in better understanding and fixing the problem.
Even though my own circumstances became not ideal after the first week, I still enjoyed everything I learned in the course!
