Shecode is great class for basic coding.
Thank you SheCodes! I have really learned a lot in a short amount of time. With the knowledge I have of coding I can now apply it to a new job and my own company.
Although I have identified as a non-STEM person in the past, I have recently--much to my surprise and with heartfelt thanks to Matthieu DeLac's SheCodes Workshop--fallen in love with coding! I can't wait to learn more!

Before starting with SheCodes I thought that learning to code seemed impossible, I had zero guidance on where or how to start. I was afraid I would push it aside and not start my journey into Tech. For many years I admired those who could create with code and even felt that it wasn't for me. After completing this course I actually feel like I'm meant to be doing this and it's definitely the future I want. I highly recommend this course and look forward to continuing my journey with SheCodes.

This course has been great so far! It's only been 3 weeks and I feel like I'm really getting a good understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Matt does a great job of explaining what to do and why it needs to be done, while allowing us space to practice what we've learned. I can't wait to move into the next course.
This really is the best coding bootcamp out there. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to code but thinks they don't have what it takes to actually do it.
I truly enjoyed is workshop! It was perfect for beginners and Matt's lessons are super easy to understand. It definitely feels like a positive and encouraging environment and the layout of everything is easy to understand, crisp, and clean. I am so exciting to be a part of the SheCodes alum!!

I was just looking for a new skill and I got much more than that. What I found was a community of women from around the world expanding their knowledge and empowering themselves. I'm so glad I stumbled across SheCodes. I look forward to continuing to grow my knowledge of coding.
Great stuff! Will say that this was quite tougher this time around than the basics workshop. With that, it's definitely a good push to really get your gears going when it comes to piecing things together and understanding a bit more on the greater details. Easy to follow instructions. I found the project to be very entertaining and it rekindled my love for coding.
I thought it was so difficult to learn and practice coding. But, I wanted to give it try, and after practicing almost every day and going through my code to refresh my memory, I definitely felt I have the knowledge and skills of coding when I took the SheCodes Basics. But, this is just the beginning. I'm planning to take the advanced workshops soon!

I loved taking the SheCodes Basic Course. It is easy for one to follow with the videos that are available as well as the challenges and homework we had to do. You get to do it in your own pace and it ignited this new found passion I have for coding. I cannot wait to move on to the next workshop.
I took computer science classes in undergrad and fell in love with coding. As I went on to pursue a career in business, I had less exposure to coding and I really missed it. I even considered going back to school for it but I didn't want to give up my life and savings to accomplish that goal.. until I found this. The module is well thought out and well explained. It's easy to follow along and set your own pace to match your lifestyle. I remember reading the testimonials myself thinking.. 'does this actual work?' and now I can tell you.. it does. If you're thinking about doing it, you've wanted to do it. Do it. Start small and see if its for you. The best gift you can give yourself is education and opportunity. Go for it.

As a multimedia student I was looking for a course to learn HTML from to increase my knowledge on coding and web design, so the SheCodes program was an amazing opportunity for me to develop a new skill. I recommend SheCodes to anyone who works in media-related fields because I believe it's important to gain insight on how the tools we deal with everyday work, and SheCodes is an amazing resource to receive education from and practice with. The lessons are short but highly informative, the deadlines are very flexible and easy to fit in a busy schedule and the community is kind and amazing. Overall a 10/10 experience.
The SheCodes Basic program was an amazing dive into the world of coding! The video lessons were positive and encouraging, making it easy to get excited for each step of the process. This was tough for me personally to get through but I made it! It was easy to learn and I feel confident in my skills.
She codes has been a great experience and has really taught me some good basics when it comes to coding looking foreword to doing more classes in the future.
Once I completed the SheCodes Basics workshop, I knew I wanted to keep this journey going and enroll in the next one. Week after week in SheCodes Plus I felt my confidence building and the more I went through the challenges the more everything began clicking for me. I have loved every second of this journey so far, even the frustrating parts. So excited to keep going and learn more!
The Plus workshop was tough, but I enjoyed learning how to implement APIs and learned much more about what Javascript can do. I feel like with more time, things will start to click, and I can't wait for the next workshop!

I recently decided to start the process of transitioning careers. I became interested in the tech industry but did not know where to start. The classes were so fun and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone! Whether you want to learn coding as a hobby or for a career it is well worth it!

I have no coding background but I got interested in coding and wanted to see if I will like it. I tried 3 weeks course and I really liked it. I think I will keep going and learning and see if I will be able to switch from my current job and become a Front-End developer.

I recently earned a bachelor's degree in public health, but I've always admired coding. Through Tiktok, I learned about SheCodes, and I'm glad I enrolled in the course. I've picked up a lot, and I can't wait to return for the following semester to learn even more and, maybe, secure employment in this profession!

This course was very useful and very easy to follow along. The community on Slack was very helpful when I had any questions along the way, being able to clarify any confusion I had. It was helpful after each lesson being able to breakdown what you learned and apply it with the given examples. I'm eager to be able to learn more.

My first impression of Coding without trying was difficult and out of my expertise. Matt broken down HTML, CCS, and JavaScript into components in the way that we can understand easily. After the basics, he taught us what is practical, which made the creation of website a lot easier!!! If you are very beginner and do not know where to start, SheCodes Basics is a good program to get an idea of what is coding and how we code using HTML, CCS, and JavaScript

I have been putting off coding courses because they looked so intimidating. Once I found She Code and finished the free class. Now I dare to continue with coding practices with She Code.
I struggled a little bit with timing because of my job. I did my best to make it work and learn as much as I could. This gave me a great start to understand how I can begin to build my own websites!
This class was very easy to follow and to understand content. I found the information to be very helpful.
SheCodes Basics was a great workshop for beginners like me. The short-form videos and step-by-step instructions are digestible and easy to understand. Usually, I struggle with concentrating so this visual format was ideal for my style of learning. Each week's workshops are very clearly organized, which made finding solutions to my problems easy to figure out on my own. And the challenges and homework are very comprehensive. I hope to enroll in more advanced workshops in the future.

Caution ⚠️ This course is highly addictive! I enjoyed the SheCodes Basics course so much, I didn't realise how fun it would be. The lessons were presented in an easily digestible format and I enjoyed solving the challenges. I would highly recommend taking a leap and trying coding for yourself.
The step by step instructions from SheCodes made it easy to understand how websites are built and gave me the tools to built my own simple website.

This was an incredible introduction to coding! The lessons provided were really easy to follow, and I felt as though they gave a very good basis of knowledge. They also made me really excited to learn more and want to continue my education.
My work has progressively led me down a more tech-based path. I was frustrated with navigating unfamiliar software, managing websites, and learning the correct language to describe navigation issues with support persons. I signed up for the SheCodes free course, and it planted a seed. Not only is it creating ease in communication with our technology support persons, but it's also feeding my creativity and love of problem-solving. I am so happy I had the opportunity to take the Basic Course and am even more excited for the next eight weeks for the Pro Course.

I was kind of nervous going into this but I love this way of learning. Everything was explained perfectly without any confusion. I enjoyed completing my projects and challenges.
I love how flexible this program was with my busy schedule! I barely had to utilize the Slack chat to get answers to my questions because this workshop was laid out so nicely - very user-friendly. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to learn the basics of front-end coding.
I loved it. I really enjoyed learning React, especially because everything is broken into components which makes it a little easier visually. It was tough but worth it!

SheCodes Basics really helped be dive into coding..and I absolutely love it! I knew nothing about coding before taking Matt's class and now I am wanting to change careers 😅 Matt is a really thorough instructor with lots of helpful insights.
I'd highly recommend SheCodes! I've been interested in learning how to code for the past year and while there are tons of free resources, I couldn't motivate myself to finish and there was no one to look over my work so there wasn't any consequences for being sporadic with my studying. With SheCodes, I have deadlines to follow, structure that keeps me organized, challenges and homework that gets marked and projects that really make you work independently and test the skills you learn. I learned so much from Matt already and am excited to move onto the rest of the course. He teaches thoroughly efficiently and doesn't waste time. Additionally, the Slack community is active so getting help and giving help happens 24/7.
