All my life I've tried new things. After countless fails and attempts, I eventually began to tell myself I wasn't good enough when approaching any new opportunity. Entering in, I knew I was way in over my head. But when SheCodes taught me how to code, for the first time in a lifetime I felt confident and proud of myself. I began dreaming about my projects and the code I've been working on. I began talking to myself in the shower about how I can fix the bug I've been working on. I became so intrigued on how other websites were made. Not only did SheCodes help me find my passion, but it helped me become smarter and grow mentally! My thinking process improved, my observations skills enhanced, I grew more patients while taking in information from people. SheCodes became my family and I couldn't be more happy to have it in my life.
That was my first coding experience and I like it a lot. I never thought that coding could be fun, but with SheCodes all the learning process was awesome. Tasks were challenging, but lessons are very clear and detailed. I definitely would recommend this course for beginners like me.
I've always been interested in the tech field since I was in college but never really had the guts to try coding. I really like how Matt makes it easy for us newbies to understand no matter how complex the topic is, and how the SheCodes team/community is always there to help us out when we mess up. I never thought coding would be this fun!

I am a mom of 3 that is currently unemployed and looking for a career change into technology development. SheCodes.io appeared to be the right answer from the outside and after the basics program, I know I made the right choice. Matt is such a brilliant teacher that you know more than you realize by the time you finish. Highly recommend.
I am new to IT and was a little scared since I didn't know anything about it, but I am happy I did it. Matt explains everything so easily, and because of this, I want to keep learning more about coding
SheCodes Basics has been a great introduction to coding. I have developed a basic understanding of the overall concept as well as CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. I love that there is a slack group where everyone can work together when they run into issues.
Learning how to code has been something I've been putting off for years. And although I know a very minimal scope of some of these languages, it was a TON of fun to get back into the groove of learning the basics! Excited to learn more and grow my skill sets!

The SheCodes Basics Workshop is an easy, fun and fast way to learn code. Specifically, how to create the HTML skeleton of a webpage β οΈ design and prettify sites with CSS π and interact with webpage visitors using JavaScript π. I feel so fortunate that these workshops are explicitly available for women πββοΈ
I'm glad I took the leap to start coding with SheCodes! This course was easy to follow along at my own pace and complete. I'm excited to continue the following coding journey and grow my skills with the help of SheCodes!

The SheCodes Basic workshop was an incredible beginners guide to coding. Matt made it easy to understand, the content was concise, and the homework was perfectly challenging. There was a great amount of support on the Slack channel which made it easy to find assistance when running into any kind of problem or question. I am honestly surprised with the skills I've learned and the basic websites I've built. I'm super excited to continue my coding journey with SheCodes!

I didn't know what to expect, but the course turned out to be more fun than I could have imagined. So much was learned in the three weeks and it was paced in a way that didn't take over my life. I came here to just try and see something. Now, I may continue on.

Each week, I committed myself to a new challenge, and appreciated the support from the She-Codes community when I was stuck. I highly recommend this program for anyone wanting a new challenge or for the simple curiosity of learning.

I delved into a little bit of coding over 20 yrs ago and came back. I never understood what it all was until I took the SheCodes Basic course. Iβm delighted to say that Mattβs courses are very easy to understand and has a great staff to assist when any problems arise while doing homework or challenges. I recommend anyone wanting to even dabble in coding to try SheCodes. You wonβt regret it.

Having very little experience with coding before taking this course, I was a little apprehensive about taking it. There was no need to be apprehensive as Matt did a great job in the videos of explaining how everything works! And I had fun learning and making the final project.
After taking the previous workshops with Shecodes, this add-on workshop helped me really sharpen my vanilla CSS skills and made me more comfortable with its tools. It helped me strengthen my web design fundamental skills. Workshop went at a comfortable pace while also pushing you to build a webpage in a few days.
I can't describe how useful and practical this course was for me. As someone who had no knowledge of coding, I was able to easily learn and apply the concepts. The positive point of this course was that it was divided into short sessions. There were also very good challenges that helped to consolidate the content in my mind. Thanks, Matt! This SheCodes workshop is AWESOME! Coding, even as seemingly basic as HTML, CSS and JavaScript, can take you so far, and I am so grateful to have had the chance to learn through SheCodes. Very easy to follow and challenging!
I felt nervous to start this at first, but after, I fall in love with coding. I felt like I was able to create an application that could make a huge difference in our everyday life. I will continue to learn more about the different types of language in coding, and I hope to make my goal come true. This was, in fact, an amazing experience for me.

This workshop has been really eye-opening. I wanted to try coding, but I didn't want to have to make a huge commitment, only to decide that I didn't enjoy it. But this three-week course has given me the confidence to believe that I can do so much more with this. I would love to pursue more and hopefully switch full-time to a career in tech!
The pace of the workshop was great. Each week built off the previous in a manageable and never overwhelming way.
I need to learn more and continue practicing , they give you all you need , but without practicing is not possible to be a Coder.
This workshop was really fun and interesting! I feel like I learned a lot! I relearned many things in a different and more simple way than I did in my first semester of my web design and development classes in my university. I also learned many things or ways I never knew before! Overall, this workshop was really useful, interesting, and fun! It really reinforced the basics I already knew and taught me so much more. I hope to continue learning more in the other workshops and improving my skills and knowledge further and further!

Matt is a natural teacher. He uses the format of "I do, we do, you do" to give gentle practice time. The learning felt engaging and natural, more like solving a puzzle or playing a game than what I've come to expect from online courses. Between the well-designed lessons, ample opportunities to practice, and the community of support in the Slack channel, it's really easy to see why SheCodes has such a high completion rate.

I think this class was interesting. I didn't know how much I could really learn in 3 weeks. I did wish that there were more instructions on certain things but overall, I'm very glad I took this class and can't wait to get into the world of tech more!
SheCodes Plus was a great, yet challenging, program! I was able to stick with it and complete the program ahead of schedule; with the help of the Slack chat and online resources when I became "stuck". There is nothing quite like the satisfaction of completing the course and seeing your final project LIVE!!!

The Workshop was perfect for people who want to learn the very basics of coding. The instructor's approach was engaging, simple and clear. This workshop was an awesome introduction to coding! I have some coding aspects that are part of my job and I wanted to be able to familiarize myself and better comprehend HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The course was super engaging and informative--I definitely learned a lot and am excited to try another workshop next!
I have been curious about coding and enjoyed the free class from SheCodes so much that I signed up for my first workshop with them! The content is easy to follow, while the challenges and projects are challenging in a good way, the perfect balance for me to learn. I also liked that we could reach out to other students and support staff if we had questions, and I love that SheCodes helps women from all around the world. :)
I learned a lot about coding and had a lot of fun while doing so. I am definitely planning on furthering my understanding of coding and am excited to learn more! I can see this being integrated into what I am learning in school and using it in my career in the future.

This coding class was fun. I had a bit hard time with javascript but overall it was good review for HTML and CSS and allowed me to experiment and play around with three different types of coding.
