I am amazed at this program! I have coded in the past but mostly HTML + CSS with no JavaScript. This beginner course really solidified my passion for coding and web design. Matt is such a great teacher, the logic and the structure of the program made it so easy to learn the basics. All the lessons were just long enough to give you context and the challenged we're so well done. I enjoyed how some challenged added elements we hadn't learned into them, allowing us to learn in the wild and be more resourceful. The resources provided were great, and I am truly ready to dive deeper into the SheCodes program. Thank you for such an amazing experience and program. I am looking forward to continuing my journey. There's still so much to learn! π

Great starting course for anyone who is just getting started or needs a quick refresher.
I recently move to a new role as a Product Delivery Manager and had very little background in coding. I took this course to learn some basic knowledge around code to better understand the engineers I work with daily. I've been amazed at how much information was provided in the Basic course. This course was a great introduction into code.
I have learned so much with this course! I'm a visual learner, so watching the lessons enabled me to gain a deeper understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript that I can build upon.

SheCodes was an excellent workshop for me as a beginner. I hardly knew anything about coding and decided to take SheCodes Basics which was a great choice. However, I really struggled with JavaScript and after multiple attempts at trying to master it, I still need more practice. This will not stop me from learning more about coding as I enjoyed gaining a new skill!
It was fun! I really enjoyed the basics workshop! Before that, I was afraid of the word "javascript," but now I'm confident I can do a lot more. I like the structure of lessons and homework as it allows me to manage my time and work-life-study balance perfectly. Excited to start a new workshop!

Thereβs a lot of information online nowadays that it can be hard to know where to start. SheCodes ended up being a good place for me to start because of how itβs structured. After finishing the Plus workshop, I was able to learn more about how to use API's, push to Github and host on Netlify.
I had so much fun! It was a challenge initially because everything was new to me, but after a few classes, I was super excited to keep learning. All the classes and challenges were super helpful to learn. I'm excited to keep developing my coding skills!!
SheCodes gave me the best introduction to coding. I think it can be difficult, especially when one small error can cause a piece of code to not run. Everyone should sign up, and the fact that it is affordable yet informative is amazing. I'm excited to keep going.
SheCodes gave me the confidence to enter my coding journey with *zero* experience. The lessons are comprehensive and aren't super long which makes it easy to knock out lessons and begin to implement what you've learned. I never saw coding as an "easy" thing to do, but SheCodes makes it incredibly accessible to everyone. Hello, I think taking Shecode workshop was defiantly a great decision. At first I was a little hesitant because Iβm a busy mom of two toddlers. I spent about 1-2 hrs per day on the lessons. Matt is at amazing teacher he really breaks down each lesson for easy understanding. This workshop was 3 weeks long and it covered the fundamentals . I would defiantly take more shecodes workshops.
I enjoyed learning how to build a page from scratch. This experience was the best. I have a perfect understanding of how everything has a function.

To have been able to go from not knowing really anything about putting an engaging webpage together, to implementing the information right away in challenges and hw projects. It was that kind of practice that really solidified the material for me. I feel like I can just sit around and whip up a quick and simple landing page from start to finish, while getting really creative with it's interaction with the user visually as well as functionally!

I really enjoyed this 3 week class! It definitely requires your time and attention but the course is easy to digest as its split into separate short courses, with challenges to ensure you have retained the information.

The lessons are easy to understand and there are a lot of resources provided for students to get assistance with their assignments. Solution videos were really helpful and the ability to re-do assignments for each lessons made it possible to grasp concepts even more.

I enjoyed learning about different programming languages other than R and Python, having experience in both helped me understand HTML, CSS, and Javascript more easily. I greatly enjoyed the creative aspect of CSS with all of the aesthetics that could be altered for the project. I also both hated and enjoyed functions in JavaScript and enjoyed learning from both Matt and looking for information and tutorials online. This was an enlightening experience and I have to say - more fun than function writing in Python.

I joined SheCodes to learn a new skill, and during the process, I found that I was really interested in coding and I hope to become a front end developer one day.
I've tried courses from other websites and I will say that I've retained information for topics I had trouble with the easiest with SheCodes.

SheCodes provided simple and easy to understand tools, demonstrations, and platforms to use to ensure my success. Each lesson is broken down into short tutorials which held my attention and made it easier for me to refer back to specific topics when I needed to. As a busy mother who has to stop and go throughout the day, I did not feel overwhelmed with the lessons and challenges and I was actually excited to learn more and more each day. Our instructor, Matt, also allows us to learn from our mistakes and get into the practice of breaking down and inspecting code, so we gain as much understanding as possible. 100% recommend to ANY busy mother or woman who wants to jump into tech!

When I first heard about SheCodes, I wanted to see what it was really about. I purchased just the basic a few months ago, unfortunately I gotten behind. However, When I had the time to really study, that's when I went for it again. I never thought I would enjoy self paced course until I saw Matt's Videos. I was struggling with JavaScript at first but now I understand it. The videos are very informational and I like the fact you can complete exercises. I've signed up all the way to SheCodes Max. SheCodes has been the best coding program! It's a 10/10 for me. In only three weeks I have learned so much information, but it never felt overwhelming since all the projects are fun and engaging!
