Ladies and non-binary folks, if you're looking to get your feet wet in the world of coding, SheCodes is where it's at! I recently completed their Basics course, and had such a great time that I decided to level up and try out their SheCodes Plus program. Let me tell you, some of those later sections were a real brain-bender, but the experience was totally worth it. If you're a newbie to coding, I'd definitely recommend practicing your JavaScript skills and dabbling with APIs a bit before diving in. But with a little bit of elbow grease and a lot of patience, you'll be coding up a storm in no time. A huge shoutout to Matt and the whole SheCodes team for putting together such a fantastic program - you guys rock!

SheCodes felt very empowering for me as women. I did the intro to coding and lets just say I had so much fun learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I want to continue to learn and progress my knowledge. With that being said, I will be back SheCodes!
I really enjoyed this workshop so much! The videos are easy and clear to understand. The challenges at the end of each lesson really help put the skills to practice and the final projects have been challenging and a lot of fun to code. This workshop made me more interested in coding.

I would highly recommend, SheCodes. As a UX Designer trying to break out into development, this is a great way to learn. Matt and the whole team have been super helpful with any questions. This has been a great start for me into coding. I have gained a lot of confidence in myself just through these three weeks. The format is really user friendly. I urge anyone who is thinking about taking the course, just jump! You won't regret it.
Great Beginners course
A great introductory course into the basics of web development. I liked the pace and the content I was able to learn in 3 weeks.

I am 25 and a stay at home mom. I came across SheCodes on a social platform. I really appreciated that they had a free 1 hour class to discuss what they do, how they work, and how easy it can be to learn coding, through them. Being a stay at home mom has its difficulties, and I really appreciated that it wasn't time consuming. It did still take lots of effort, but I finished the basic course, and really LOVED my entire experience. I have found a new love in the world of coding and the opportunities it can bring me and my family. I cannot wait to see what's to come after this. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in transitioning into the tech world or for those that just need a refresh. This was a great introductory course, with each with each lesson being accompanied with a challenge and video explanation. It was very hands-on, which is great for ensuring that you truly understand the material.

This is one of the best online courses I have taken so far. With their AI called Athena, fixing my codes was so easy. The best part about it is that I was able to get a strong explanation each time I made an error.
I am a lot of things, a designer a model, a dreamer... the list could go on but ultimately I am a creative. A few months before this course I did some learning on freecodecamp.org and then moved to shecodes.io just to experiment with the idea before committing to an actual degree in Web Systems. I am currently studying in college and I am so much ahead in my courses I am taking all thanks to the help of SheCodes. I've taken some time in the world to decide what I want in life and within that process I found a love for coding. I specifically want to pursue a career in cloud computing. I also want to learn/experiment with the integration of animation in web sites. I look forward to learning more and plan to do many more workshops to further my knowledge! I came back to this extra project after finishing SheCodes Plus, half as a refresher and the other half to complete an extra project. And I'm glad I did, because I learn a number of new tips and tricks in the extra project I would have otherwise had to struggle with. So glad I signed up for the Max package to be able to do these extra fun projects!
That was an interesting course for learning the basics, with having no coding background I liked the setting and the presentations. Sometimes, I felt overwhelmed by the amount of content, but actually it is not a big deal. You get help through Slack and Athena Al are terrific helpers; Athena Al walks through more details. I cannot believe how Matt makes it so easy to learn how to code, the multiple challenges and interactive videos make it easy for us to follow and implement what we learn as we go. My confidence in my abilities went from zero to almost 100% when it came to applying the concepts taught. I would recommend this course to all women around the world it is truly worth it.

I am a stay at home mom and I was scrolling tik tok one night when I came across a video for She Codes. I am not computer or tech savvy at all. However I found it interesting and decided to watch the free 60 minute coding session. After that I started the She Codes Basic and I LOVED IT!!! The whole set up was great. I loved the short videos they were so easy to follow, and challenges were so fun. I am excited to start another workshop!!!
I thought that the course was well taught, although I did struggle a bit I will definitely be signing up for the plus course :).
I had 0 experience in coding and was afraid to take this class. But after my 3rd week, I'm so happy I took the first step to learning how to code with SheCodes! I'm learning what it takes to code and becoming closer to reaching my career goals.

This workshop was super fun and easy to follow. I like being able to put the skills learned into a portfolio to use for future employers. Matt walks you through step by step to help you create your project and makes learning to code fun. If you have taken the first 2 courses, don't hesitate to continue with this one. The skills and techniques you learn to make things responsive and more are well worth it!
I decided to come back to coding after doing so many other programs. I just could'nt get it. Until I saw an ad for SheCodes. That's when I knew it was a sign to join. SheCodes Basics was extremely exciting and fun to learn. Very easy to follow.
Feels really good to be actually completing the course. Definitely not easy but not impossible either,My coding journey doesn't end here its just the beginning.

I have been stressing for about a year now with what career to have for the rest of my life. I wanted to take this course to see if i would like fullstack and get a general basis of what it was all about. I generally surprised myself and enjoy the creativity behind this kind of career. This course was amazing! As an introduction into the world of tech , this was the perfect pace for me . The instructor Matt delivers the information in a way that simple and easy to understand. Being able to go back and watch a lesson was a huge comfort as well as being able to reach out for help through slack . I honestly give this a 10/10 and recommend anyone who is interested but sure where to start to take this class ! Imso happy I did , and I will be continuing to the next course after this one !!

She code in my knowledge is an essential key component in the coding industry. I have been out of the coding world since last few years. She codes helped me recollect all the old and new coding languages very smoothly with help of the class and projects.
