The Basics Add-on was just the extra touch I needed for more practice on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I'm happy to add to my portfolio and am excited about future lessons.
Who knew coding could be so much fun?! Had a wonderful experience learning with SheCodes. The information was broken down into weekly lessons which made planning lessons into my work week easily manageable. I look forward to continuing my education with SheCodes!
Course was easy to learn, challenging and fun
This has been a great start for me into coding. I have gained a lot of confidence in myself just through these three weeks. The format is really user friendly. I urge anyone who is thinking about taking the course, just jump! You won't regret it.
Great Beginners course
A great introductory course into the basics of web development. I liked the pace and the content I was able to learn in 3 weeks.
It was a great intro class and I will probably be signing up for a longer course.

Building the Basics Add-On project taught me many valuable skills to level up a website design making the visual aspect layered and the site more interactive. I recommend this course as the logical next step in developing coding proficiency. And did I say it was a lot of fun!

I am 25 and a stay at home mom. I came across SheCodes on a social platform. I really appreciated that they had a free 1 hour class to discuss what they do, how they work, and how easy it can be to learn coding, through them. Being a stay at home mom has its difficulties, and I really appreciated that it wasn't time consuming. It did still take lots of effort, but I finished the basic course, and really LOVED my entire experience. I have found a new love in the world of coding and the opportunities it can bring me and my family. I cannot wait to see what's to come after this. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in transitioning into the tech world or for those that just need a refresh. This was a great introductory course, with each with each lesson being accompanied with a challenge and video explanation. It was very hands-on, which is great for ensuring that you truly understand the material.

This is one of the best online courses I have taken so far. With their AI called Athena, fixing my codes was so easy. The best part about it is that I was able to get a strong explanation each time I made an error.
I am a lot of things, a designer a model, a dreamer... the list could go on but ultimately I am a creative. A few months before this course I did some learning on freecodecamp.org and then moved to shecodes.io just to experiment with the idea before committing to an actual degree in Web Systems. I am currently studying in college and I am so much ahead in my courses I am taking all thanks to the help of SheCodes. I've taken some time in the world to decide what I want in life and within that process I found a love for coding. I specifically want to pursue a career in cloud computing. I also want to learn/experiment with the integration of animation in web sites. I look forward to learning more and plan to do many more workshops to further my knowledge! I came back to this extra project after finishing SheCodes Plus, half as a refresher and the other half to complete an extra project. And I'm glad I did, because I learn a number of new tips and tricks in the extra project I would have otherwise had to struggle with. So glad I signed up for the Max package to be able to do these extra fun projects!
That was an interesting course for learning the basics, with having no coding background I liked the setting and the presentations. Sometimes, I felt overwhelmed by the amount of content, but actually it is not a big deal. You get help through Slack and Athena Al are terrific helpers; Athena Al walks through more details. I cannot believe how Matt makes it so easy to learn how to code, the multiple challenges and interactive videos make it easy for us to follow and implement what we learn as we go. My confidence in my abilities went from zero to almost 100% when it came to applying the concepts taught. I would recommend this course to all women around the world it is truly worth it.

I am a stay at home mom and I was scrolling tik tok one night when I came across a video for She Codes. I am not computer or tech savvy at all. However I found it interesting and decided to watch the free 60 minute coding session. After that I started the She Codes Basic and I LOVED IT!!! The whole set up was great. I loved the short videos they were so easy to follow, and challenges were so fun. I am excited to start another workshop!!!
I thought that the course was well taught, although I did struggle a bit I will definitely be signing up for the plus course :).
I had 0 experience in coding and was afraid to take this class. But after my 3rd week, I'm so happy I took the first step to learning how to code with SheCodes! I'm learning what it takes to code and becoming closer to reaching my career goals.

This workshop was super fun and easy to follow. I like being able to put the skills learned into a portfolio to use for future employers. Matt walks you through step by step to help you create your project and makes learning to code fun. If you have taken the first 2 courses, don't hesitate to continue with this one. The skills and techniques you learn to make things responsive and more are well worth it!
I decided to come back to coding after doing so many other programs. I just could'nt get it. Until I saw an ad for SheCodes. That's when I knew it was a sign to join. SheCodes Basics was extremely exciting and fun to learn. Very easy to follow.
Feels really good to be actually completing the course. Definitely not easy but not impossible either,My coding journey doesn't end here its just the beginning.

I have been stressing for about a year now with what career to have for the rest of my life. This course was amazing! As an introduction into the world of tech , this was the perfect pace for me . The instructor Matt delivers the information in a way that simple and easy to understand. Being able to go back and watch a lesson was a huge comfort as well as being able to reach out for help through slack . I honestly give this a 10/10 and recommend anyone who is interested but sure where to start to take this class ! Imso happy I did , and I will be continuing to the next course after this one !!

She code in my knowledge is an essential key component in the coding industry. I have been out of the coding world since last few years. She codes helped me recollect all the old and new coding languages very smoothly with help of the class and projects. It helped develop a sense of individual thoughts to come up with the projects that govern my way of thinking about using codes outside of the teaching environment. This course taught HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The course was well-structured and easy to follow, with fun little projects that kept me engaged and motivated. The instructors on Slack were knowledgeable, available to answer any questions I had and being able to talk to the community was great. The course provided a great introduction to web development and gave me the foundation to continue learning. Overall, I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning to code and developing their web development skills.
I'm always trying to learn new skills to keep myself competitive in my career. I didn't know much about coding at first, but I'm so glad I chose to learn through SheCodes.
