This Workshop was a lot fun and I learned so much! I feel more confident in my coding journey. I think that I may even start freelancing soon.
Shecodes really made learning coding basics a breeze. I always thought coding was something too difficult for me, but the lessons broke down concepts in a very understandable way. I love how coding feels like a game of tetris, and when you find the right block everything fits perfect!
This workshop was quite challenging, but the team at SheCodes was always helpful in getting me back on track.
I was skeptical about the workshop at first, and I doubted myself that I was going to be able to learn even the basics because I've never coded in my life before, but I am glad to say that I made it, and the course really makes the difference! Matt has a way of teaching that makes the learning process easier, and the SheCodes Team replies in a timely manner any inquiry and that's a PLUS! I highly recommend it and looking forward to join more workshops! 💕

I was surprised by the amount I was able to learn in such a short time! Matt's instruction was clear, easy to follow and fun. I am proud of my final project. Since I work full time and go to college I was afraid of adding more to my plate, but the self pace of the course worked out perfectly as I was able to get a lot done when I have time, and take a day or two break if I need it. I've really enjoyed SheCodes Basic. The classes are easy to understand, you can manage how much time and effort you want to dedicate to go at your own pace, the resources are excellent, and the support from the community and the SheCodes team has been amazing. I wasn't sure that I could accomplish it, but I did it and I found a new love for coding in the process. I'm so excited to learn more!

I am so happy to have begun my coding journey with SheCodes! SheCodes was an easy way to explore coding without any prior experience. The hands on nature of the entire course is my favorite part as it allowed me to exercise my skills in real time with the instructor. Every concept was explained in a clear and efficient way whilst making the coursework fun. I was excited to see the fruits of my work through the coding project completed at the end of the course. Will certainly be expanding my knowledge with SheCodes in the future!

I really enjoyed learning the basics for HTML, CSS and Javascript. Some of it was challenging, and I loved working it out. Slack helped alot as well as being able to review the lessons.

I am amazed to discover a world that exists that most people know nothing about. When we use our phones and look at apps or websites we don't bat an eye. But that had to come from somewhere and that is all thanks to coding. It is a world beneath the surface. It is a technological art form! I initially decided to take this class to see if I would even be interested in coding. In my current job, I don't do anything like this. I do have a side business that could benefit from the knowledge I've gained here. I am very happy with how much content was provided, that asking for help was welcome, and finding your own solutions was encouraged! I recommend this basic workshop for anyone who wants to get a taste for what coding is like. But be warned... you will not want to stop!

This additional project was extremely beneficial to really hone in my skills. I feel as if I have a really good base knowledge of React and have been set up for success in future projects.
I just finished the SheCodes Plus workshop and it was such a great experience. I learned so much from this course and I really love the way the lessons are laid out. They are clear and easy to follow and there is always support when you need it. I also love that there are weekly homework deadlines to try and meet, in order to help keep you accountable, but there is also a lot of flexibility if you need it (which, as a mom of a toddler, is essential!). The flexibility to be able to ask for extensions when you need them, to me, shows that SheCodes really takes into consideration the different lifestyles/schedules that each individual has. Before SheCodes, I had absolutely no knowledge of coding, but as soon I joined I felt very welcomed and instantly became a part of this community of amazing women around the world with shared dreams and ambitions of learning to code. Being a part of this supportive community, especially for a complete beginner like me, has given me a lot of confidence and inspiration to continue my coding journey.
I really enjoy the little add-ons to each section. This one we created another useful project and Matt is always teaching new things. This add-on had a lot of good extra information that will be useful anywhere. Don't hesitate, it is worth it.
I feel these three past weeks I had learned more than my entire life! Enrolling in SheCodes certainly had been the best decision ever. Can't wait to finish up then entire course!
Building a world clock app using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in 2 days(!) was a great experience for me :) I extremely enjoyed learning new techniques and approaches to building apps while being creative with the user interface. So satisfied with the result!

The Basics Add-On helped solidify the things I learned in SheCodes Basics, as well as taught me a few new ways of coding things in CSS and JavaScript.
I started SheCodes basic because I wanted to experience 1) if I would enjoy coding, 2) if I could keep up, and 3) if I could understand the concepts from a beginner's POV. I am happy to say that making a button work has sparked a joy that I did not know could be possible. I enjoyed myself so much! I learned and experienced the joy of solving a puzzle I was unsure about. I would highly recommend trying it out!

Thoroughly enjoyed this SheCodes course! I really appreciated the mini assignments along the way and the homework assignments & final project were so much fun to put together.
In this course, I experienced a lot of challenges that discouraged me but with careful inspection and lots of reflecting on previous assignments I figured it out.
