This was greatest challenge I've taken for myself in a long time. I dropped out of college 10 years ago and this was a great way to recover that chapter of my life. I am a hands on and visual learner, this workshop was user friendly and simple for a beginner. I was able to maneuver through being a full time single mom, full time employee and other projects. This was great I look forward to moving forward to the next SheCodes workshop.
I always saw myself working as a nurse in healthcare; so the idea of me trying to become a coder; I could not fathom. I am glad to start this journey and can't wait to one day apply at my first job as a professional coder. 😊

The best part of SheCodes Workshop for me was it's well designed practices after each lesson. They are not too hard nor too easy. They make discovery and curiosity sense which leads to a strong willingness for practicing.

As someone who had tried and failed to learn coding on my own, this course was such a huge help. I was able to follow along, rewind the parts I was confused about, reach out for help, and felt like I was accomplishing things I had never understood before. Not only does Matt Delac challenge you to experiment, but he shows you how to code in a way that truly helps the concepts make sense.
I was a product engineer with background in chemical engineering but I was not enjoying what I was doing. I'd recently quit my job and that when I found SheCodes. During the workshops I found that I was enjoying the class and even though some things were challenging, finding out how the answers to those questions was part of the fun. This workshop does an excellent job of walking you through the project, step by step. It gives you the support you need to learn the coding skills, but also allows you to depart from the instructions to add your own style to your project.

It has been a fun ride learning with SheCodes! It feels surreal how easier it was to learn from what I had previously thought. I had so much fun building new projects and getting to see them come together in code and design!
This was a challenging but rewarding course! Matt explained everything so well, and the help I got on Slack was quick and useful. I came across the SheCodes website while browsing YouTube and decided to try the free workshop. I've always wanted to learn to code and even tried doing it on my own, however it was very difficult. The SheCodes Basics Workshop was incredibly valuable- we learned a lot more than I expected but somehow still managed to keep everything we learned relevant and accessible for all levels of understanding. The amount of support and resources offered really helped me along the way.
I started SheCodes Basic with no prior experience coding or in any area of tech. Matt really breaks down the info into easy to follow lessons. I like that each lesson gave you the opportunity to actually practice coding. This workshop has really inspired me to continue my tech education! 10/10 would recommend this workshop for someone who is looking to start learning front end development from the very beginning.
I like SheCodes because it gives me all of the information/steps I need in order to become successful in the coding field. Matt has been great! One of the things I appreciate most about this program is that I can work at my own pace, on my own time, which has made it possible for me to fit learning into my busy schedule. What I have found particularly helpful is the supportive team of experts who are always available to answer my questions and provide guidance. As a result of my experience with "She codes", I have learned so much about coding and am excited to pursue a career change in this field. I was able to advance my skills by enrolling in the SheCodes Fundamentals program as a marketing specialist. In addition, the training gave me a foundational understanding of JavaScript, which helped me along my learning curve for Servicenow's low-code framework.
