This was a great program. I knew nothing about coding and was unfamiliar with languages like JavaScript and CSS. However, the lessons were so clear and concise that it was easy to follow. Even if I faced some hiccups along the way I never felt intimidated to ask for help thanks to their Slack team!β¨

A wonderful course with fast help through Slack. There was a shift in the course format where we didn't have challenges and mostly just videos, and I was hoping for more challenges since they really help you internalize the concepts. Overall, a pleasant learning experience.

I am a Full Time Registered Nurse at the bedside that has been looking for an alternate career path. I decided to dip my toes into the tech world with SheCodes because it let me do just that without committing to an entire 8-24 month long commitment at a formal university; and I am so glad I did it because I'm learning how much projects matter more than an institution name and 4 year programs! I also love that they offer shorter workshops to try out coding before committing to a larger investment, which many alternatives require of prospective students without them even having tried coding. The learning segments are easy to digest, homework and challenges are very straight forward and they teach you real life ways to find help before reaching out to their technical support. It is very organized and easy to follow. All in all, I have to say I'm impressed. I've only done the 3 week workshop and already have a project that I can put on my portfolio and that has given me the confidence to proceed with the SheCodes Max. Thank you for being so generous with your craft Matt!
I really enjoyed plus. It deep dived into JS and taught me another level of coding. It was challenging but encouraged me to want to go above and beyond with learning. Can't wait for the next class.
This course was a lot of fun! Overall, it was easy to understand the material as presented and look up anything I didn't know. I will need a lot of practice before I feel as though I "know" html, css, or javascript, but this was a great start!
Umm... It was a tough few weeks! It was way more challenging then basic one, Of course I should of known that. But it was fun. I got to learn how to make a "Weather App", now that was cool. I had never considered coding as a hobby or career option, now I can see both in my future. Coding is fun! I'm so glad to be learning coding with SheCodes and Amazing Teacher "Matt".
React felt very daunting before starting it but I am really happy with what I was able to accomplish with this course, it was delivered very well!
I embarked on coding the Weather App for SheCodes Plus with enthusiasm, and it turned out to be an incredible learning journey. The challenges were plentiful, especially when integrating the API and managing asynchronous data. Overall, the course provided hands-on experience and problem-solving opportunities. The skills gained in overcoming these challenges have not only enhanced my coding abilities but also boosted my confidence in tackling real-world projects. I really enjoyed it! It was affordable and easy to complete over the span of a few weeks. I have a very complex schedule, and taking the time out for an in-person course/live course would not have worked for me. I was able to stop and pause with SheCodes, and still learn coding.

I have not coded since about circa 2000 when I was on myspace. I have a few girlfriends who are in tech. One of these friends has pushed me in particular in the last year. I've had a great time during the three weeks rekindling a passion I had for learning to code. This class was perfect length and price to see if I wanted to pursue coding further.

This SheCodes Responsive Portfolio project was so much fun to build. I love that I can go back and add more as I continue to code and make more projects. Being able to design web pages that are friendly not just to the desktop but also to the mobile device is essential in today's web development field. This is one I enjoyed building and I can't wait to learn even more.

SheCodes Responsive was a lot more challenging, but still a good experience learning new material. This course encourages me to do more with the Add-on courses, and later to learn about React. I'm continually improving myself. I highly recommend trying more than one course!
The SheCodes Plus workshop has taught me so so much. There's no way in a million years that I thought I could learn code enough to create my own app. Now I am proud to say that I have learned the skills to create my own web application and I have a project to prove that. This workshop is filled with a wealth of information and you get to build your project from scratch right alongside Matt's teachings so you never feel lost. I highly recommend this workshop for those that are wanting to go from beginner to intermediate.

An essential course for coding beginners! I was already familiar with basic HTML and CSS through my web design background and back-end customization, but I now feel even more confident knowing the fundamentals of all 3 (HTML, CSS, and JS) and being more involved in the coding process for my clients. The lessons were all very informative and digestible. The Slack chat was also extremely helpful for any questions that I had.
As I know I am not alone in this crazy world, I am glad that I decided to dive into something foreign to continue to develop my future for the better! <3

After five months of being out of work, and falling deeper into my depression I started taking this course believing that at the very least I can learn a new skill. I had a bachelor's degree that I wasn't using and as a work-from-home mom, I was looking for a career change. I was looking for something that could interest me but also fit my needs of working from home to watch my children. I signed up for the SheCodes Basics course to dip my foot in the water of the Tech field.
I really enjoyed learning about CSS, HTML, and Java π€ Time-wise the course is manageable and the assignments are fun!

I had a blast learning how to create a weather application, though I must admit the course was a bit challenging. Nevertheless, it was totally worth it since I learned so much from it!
I have always wanted to learn to code and this workshop helped me grasp the fundamentals of coding. The lectures are not too long, providing enough time for other daily activities or studies. The challenges/homework help you learn how to quickly apply the material you learned within 10 minutes max. I wish the basics could have included Python also, but I am still glad for learning the basics. Thank you SheCodes for helping me learn the basics of coding!

LOVED this course. I have always preferred self paced courses due to life's natural pivot to chaos. SheCodes has TONS of resources for when you run into a confusing section on a assignment, personal project, or you decide to take creative liberties elsewhere. The classes were very well organized to where I could go back to a previous lesson to help me understand what I'm doing incorrect outside of the course. I was able to learn so efficiently that I was hospitalized for a few days, bed rest for a month, and came back into the coursework with excitement and understanding. Matt's sense of humor was also a PLUS. Happy Codingππ€οΈ10/10

Before enrolling in SheCodes, I was enrolled in a different coding workshop which I did not succeed in. I was left feeling discouraged, disappointed and incapable of learning to code. Since enrolling in SheCodes, my entire attitude has changed. The way the lessons are structured allows me to practice at my own pace and feel excited when problems arise. I am eager to begin the add-on projects and develop my own portfolio, which is something I never before saw possible. Overall, I would recommend SheCodes to anyone seeking my guidance! Without having enrolled, I am not sure I would have gotten this far in my learning. With SheCodes, I feel as if the possibilities for my career in coding are endless.
