It's amazing the amount of knowledge I've gained in the past 2 months. I have gained so much confidence in my skills. Most of the challenges are becoming easier, and I feel capable of branching out from the basics to add personal touches to what I create. I still get stuck on occasion, but the staff is amazing about helping find a solution.
The SheCode plus add on was very cool to work with. It showed me a different way to code and to use use international time.
The basics add-on workshop was slightly challenging for me but I'm grateful I took the time to take it and understand a little more about how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript can better flow with each other. You do learn a few new techniques that come in handy especially with the end project.
A nice add-on to the Basics course with an opportunity to elevate the cleanliness of the code you learned in Basics.
I learned how to link external websites like YouTube and Instagram in my code and how to use Grids, so this workshop was very productive. Thank you, Matt!

This was the greatest experience ever! I feel more " in the know" now with my children and at work. For this to be a basics coarse I feel 10 steps ahead and love it! This was the best decision and I can't wait to learn more!

This workshop provided an opportunity to practice the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with the support of the SheCodes community. The lessons were short and easy to follow, making it possible to digest all the information at a good pace. It is exciting to see the result of your code on a screen!
React seemed like a massive change from the previous workshops at first, but Matt explains it so well and it's easy to follow along.

Yay! Finishedddd! React got a bit easier, honestly I prefer it more than just the original HTML and CSS, since it's less code haha.

Explanations of lectures are very simple to understand, and assignments are fun to accomplish while improving skills and providing assistance on slack. the course was highly engaging with explanations that was straightforward. This workshop was such a blast to work through! The layout was straightforward and simple, which I loved. The program is easy to follow and the instructor explains the lessons very well. This addon course built my confidence in working with JS.
I have always been intimidated to learn how to code. It always seemed too difficult to understand. I am glad I did my research and came across this program. I wanted to see how much I'd enjoy taking the Basics course so I signed up. I know there's still a lot to learn but I can see just how far I've come in using HTML, CSS, and JS. I'm really proud of my final project and even added in more features not required just to see if I could do it! I come from a heavy sales background so transitioning into this field may take more time for me to consider. Although I'm not sure where this will take me, I do feel confident if I ever wanted a developer career, that I'd be more than ready to take on a front-end role (as that still seems daunting to me at the moment). If you're unsure, at least give the basics a chance, especially considering the price point for the Basics program alone. It would be well worth it to explore this industry to make sure it's something you like or not.

I started this course as a "true beginner" and I feel like I've learned SO much so far! The lessons and challenges are tricky BUT very manageable. I definitely recommend this course to women who work full-time and are looking for a course to take that works with their schedule.
I enjoyed this class. I had a lot of fun building websites and working more with styling techniques, responsiveness, and SEO. I also liked the section on website accessibility. This is not an area that I had experience with or understood the importance of previously.
It was a good intro to tech!, highly recommend
SheCodes is a great start to figure out if you like coding. This helped me decided if I want to pursue coding and allowed me to learn skills that is useful!

I've been trying to learn how to code for the last year but couldn't really get the hang of it. I also wasn't sure where to start or what I should focus on as there is so much to learn. I finally decided to enroll in SheCodes and have really enjoyed the coursework thus far. It's very easy to understand and the projects are enjoyable to work through. It can be a challenge at times but once my work is done, I love being able to see what I've created.
I LOVED SheCodes! I had a great time learning everything and can't wait to implement it. Thank you all for so much fun and I can't wait to continue my coding journey!

This was an excellent experience, I learned a lot and I would definitely keep doing all the courses in SheCodes. Matt is a great instructor, every topic is very well explained. I am currently studying UX and I'm excited to put to use all the tools when it comes to create a prototyping design, mobile apps, or websites.

Interesting additions to the Basics course
This first class was definitely difficult but once you get the understanding of what you're doing and practice it becomes much easier. It can be a bit hard to get at first but it's absolutely worth it. This was such a lovely class and I can imagine much easier than other longer term courses from other agencies. Thank you SheCodes I'll absolutely be upgrading!
