Great workshop to get more foundation on web development.
I really enjoyed the Response workshop! It was clear and easy to follow along. Learning how to build a website was fun and also very useful for what I want to pursue in my career. The classes really helped me strengthen my skills and inspired me to improve my own business's site.
This workshop provided me with many additional techniques to help take my code to the next level.
SheCodes has been such an amazing experience for me! This is my third workshop with them, and I appreciate how much each workshop builds on the last. Having the videos available, as well as cheatsheets if I want to try on my own first, makes me feel more confident in my skills as a front end dev.
This was another great challenge. Simple idea, but with lots of new material to learn. Some concepts I previously stuggled with suddenly made way more sense and I can see where I can improve my code even more now. 😍

I really liked how we dove more into Bootstrap and Responsiveness. I think it's very important to keep up with the most recent information that's being used.

I had a little bit of HTML knowledge before joining SheCodes and have always really enjoyed coding, but as I learn more and more with these workshops, I'm enjoying it so much more and can't wait to see what I'm able to do with my new-found knowledge once I complete all of the workshops.
SheCodes Basics is great for beginners! Very important detail.. this program is SELF PACED!! The lessons and challenges are very organized and easy to follow. You'll be able to complete the workshop within 1-3 weeks, depending on how much time you set aside each day. The team is very helpful and even allow extensions if you need more time to complete the homework. Overall, great program & I highly recommend!

Great course. Explains everything and is to the point. Not super long videos so it's easy to follow along and get straight onto hands on work. Definitely moving onto the other courses.
This workshop was very hands-on by putting all these skills we've learned into making a portfolio that can be used professionally. At this point, I feel very confident creating this portfolio on my own and not needing as much guidance. It's been a lot of work, but very satisfying figuring things out more independently while still knowing I had support when I got stuck. The videos are always very clear and helpful. I even feel more confident looking things up on my own through google and other resources.
Second course was a bit tougher but so much fun! I feel so fired up! Can't wait for SheCodes Plus Workshop!

I recently graduated from college in May 2022 and received my degree in Informatics with a concentration in Data Science and a certificate in Creative Writing and Technical Writing. After I graduated, I felt burned out from coding and decided to pursue my new grad career in UX Writing. I enjoy being a UX Writer, but I started to miss coding. Out of curiosity, I researched different boot camps, and they were all costly. I looked up boot camps that were good for women on TikTok and came across someone speaking about SheCodes. I was interested and went on the SheCodes website and was amazed at what the program offered at a lower price. I believed it would be a great way to get back into coding and go at it at my own pace. I am delighted with my decision to choose SheCodes.

My webpage is about saving animals facing extinction. There is a heading and sub-heading showing what the page is about. There is also an image in the center showing hands protecting animals and wildlife which gives us a visual representation of the theme of the page. There is also a brief paragraph at the bottom explaining a little bit about endangered animals and it cites sources and facts.
Learning to code is possible and SheCodes helped me start my path to coding. I completed all of the workshops from Basic to React and I learned so much and had fun while doing it. I have gained many skills that I can build on and I appreciate this community. Thank you SheCodes family!

Really this was the best way to learn on my own time, each lesson is so accessible and easy to follow. Even when I was confused I was well-equipped to search for my own solutions. I love being able to show off my cute weather app too! I feel really proud of myself to know even this basic level of React.
SheCodes has made the journey of learning to code very exciting & easy. Learning React is not an easy task. I appreciate how this workshop focuses on key elements and models each step to creating a working weather app. There's still so much to learn, but I now have the foundational knowledge to figure out how to make functional React apps.

Wow, this class was intense. I enjoyed learning React; you can do many neat things, and the code looks prettier. It was a very challenging class, especially figuring out how to transfer my CSS to the correct file, and which parts of your code you should leave or move into the next component to keep the design how you want it. If you take this class, utilize the Slack channels to help solve any issues you may come across. Overall it was super fun and I am excited about the next section.
Although I encountered significant challenges with a previous coding boot camp, I remain committed to pursuing my dream of becoming a developer. That's why I was thrilled to discover SheCodes on International Women's Day and decided to enroll in their Basics package. It was, without a doubt, one of the best decisions I've ever made. As I did with the other workshops I have gone through so far, I loved this one! I felt as though I was touching on really important and current skills that are necessary in order to develop my skill-set even further, and I enjoyed feeling like I already knew what I was doing.
