I am 25 and a stay at home mom. I came across SheCodes on a social media platform. I really appreciated that they had a free 1 hour class to discuss what they do, how they work, and how easy it can be to learn coding, through them. Being a stay at home mom has its difficulties, and I really appreciated that it wasn't time consuming. It did still take a lot of effort, but I finished the basic course, and really LOVED my entire experience. I have now completed the plus course, I truly feel I have found a love for coding and am excited for the opportunities it can bring me and my family. I can't wait to see what's to come after this. Thank you to Matt Delac and the rest of the SheCodes team!

SheCodes Basics was soooo fun! I found it very interesting how HTML elements and javascript works. Exploring all CSS options, color palettes and gradients was super fun playing around with the colors and refreshing the page to see what it looks like! I would totally recommend SheCodes to all women who work with developers and who wants to learn how to create web pages. I am 💯 keen on learning more & participating on the monthly challenges! 🤓 SheCodes has really opened a whole new world for me! I think I'm a little addicted to coding now! 😆 Thank you Matt Delac & SheCodes team! 🫶

SheCodes Basic was an excellent experience for me. The instruction videos were clear and easy to follow, and the challenges after each lesson were helpful in building up coding skills by focusing on specific components (such as if/else statements or classes). The homework assignments and final project pulled together all of the skills developed in the challenges without being overwhelming. I look forward to starting the next workshop!

As a professional Marketer, I have always been fascinated with website building and design. Thanks to SheCodes, I discovered a fun and accessible way to learn a new valuable skill. What I appreciate about SheCodes is how user-friendly the platform is. The lessons and challenges are designed in a way that gradually built up my coding skills, so I never feel like I'm in over my head. Plus, the community of fellow students and mentors is always there to lend a helping hand and offer support. What sets SheCodes apart is the practical approach they take to teaching coding. They focus not only on theory but on real-world applications. As a result, I have acquired the skills and confidence I need to succeed in the marketing and tech industries.
This was really great! I'm very visual so getting to really customize the app was fun. Some of the features took me almost all day to figure out sometimes but ultimately it worked! And as usual, Matt is a great instructor. It's great to have the individual sections and build on each.
I am so glad I completed the Plus Add-On workshop. I learned how to use more advanced javascript and css, flexbox, moment js and timezones and I'm really proud of myself for completing this project.
These workshops just keep getting better and better. I had such a wonderful time building this new vanilla app and learning the bits of code along the way. I cannot express how much I love Matt's teaching style. His approach to code is easy to follow and a great way to learn. I cannot wait to start my next workshop.

This workshop was so much fun to complete! It added more insight to what I learned in the Basics workshop last week.
Completing this workshop has dramatically increased my confidence in creating websites. I find myself not only thinking about the current project, but also how I could adapt previous projects using my new skills to make them even better.
The course it's the right amount between challenging and fun
The Basics Add-on course was great! I found it to be so helpful to work along Matt while he was coding the different lessons. This add-on course was also great as it was a good refresher to the lessons we learned during the Basics course.

This workshop was a wonderful introduction to the world of coding. The way the lessons and challenges are set up it breaks these big ideas down into smaller and more understandable steps.

I ABSOLUTELY enjoyed this workshop, I've learned so much following Matt's in-depth videos. Working on my project was very exciting and learning all the cool tools made feel like i can really achieve my goal in becoming a software engineer someday
This project was my favorite, while working on it, it made me crave to jump on a plane and explore the cities I have picked out for my world clock.
Very well organized and conceived. By following the course, I was able to learn and build on the concepts with minimal questions or frustration.

This responsive add-on class was such a pleasure to complete. It gave me the extra experience I needed in responsive design and has helped me build my portfolio. It was one of the easier classes to follow that allowed for a little more creativity in your design. Using Matt's Figma design also gave me experience using that design tool as a developer. This has been one of my favorite add-on classes. I would definitely recommend this add-on class.

I enjoyed the three week basic course. It was a nice introduction to coding. I will say that I am glad I had taken some free HTML and CSS courses. It doesn't go as in-depth as I would have liked. But, it is a great intro and I loved the projects!
I think it's great to constantly be reviewing and learning new items to better improve your coding skills.
Great workshop after the last great workshop. It was fun and very useful to be able to incorporate every thing learned so far in a project that you can be proud of making! I gained a lot of knowledge from this Plus add-on and enjoyed it, despite some of the material being quite advanced. Overall, it was very inspiring.
I was so intimidated by the idea of coding, but Matt explains it so well and there's such a great community at SheCodes! So many others are willing to help and share if you get stuck. I was never stuck for long and this course simplified coding! It made coding a lot less scary and a lot more fun.
I decided to do that add-ons to get back into working on personal projects and build my portfolio outside of work. And I really enjoyed this one.

I am currently a Content Manager / Financial Counselor who is passionate about learning new things. I am a working mother and have been trying to break into web development for a couple of years. Many employers require an education in Computer Science or a Certification in Web Development, but I have neither. SheCodes has provided me with the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge at my own pace. I hope to enter the field as a Front-End Developer soon after graduating from SheCodes Max.
I love the add on lessons, they really helped reinforce what I had learned while still learning new techniques.

As a homeschool mom of 2 I wasn't sure if I would have the time to try to learn to code. I've been out of college and the workforce for a few years now and I looked at a handful of possible bootcamps to try. I'm so glad I went with SheCodes. Not only is it perfect for people who need to do lessons at random, odd hours, but the content is great and easy to understand. Matt is seriously the best instructor I've come across so far in this field. I've done a few self learning courses and youtube tutorials and other things but learning from Matt's videos have definitely been the best experience I've had in the last 2 years of me trying to decide if I wanted to do this or not. It's really great to be able to do this around my schedule and to learn in short, user friendly lessons with fun projects. I highly recommend SheCodes.

I HIGHLY recommend SheCodes. I took the free workshop and immediately wanted to take the 3-week course. I come from a teaching background so I was very nervous, yet excited to learn coding. SheCodes was a lot of fun and not as intimidating to learn than I thought. Matt explains things explicitly and in digestible chunks where you can apply your knowledge in challenges.
