I can't believe I've made it this far in my coding journey. It has been challenging but never impossible to understand. Matt is a great teacher and everyone on the SheCodes team is always very kind and helpful. I'm happy to have made the decision to learn coding.

I had so much fun while learning codeβa well-made Course. The good part is there is so much content online if you want to learn by yourself, primarily Javascript but Shecodes only focuses on important things, which seems less confusing. Thanks!

The Basics Add On workshop was a great follow up to the Basics. It was more challenging but still very understandable.
Great introductory course to coding. All of the lessons are broken up into very small, manageable lessons, with accompanying learning checks to ensure understanding.
The videos were very informative without being too long or overwhelming. This was a great experience to see if this could be a new career moving forward.
Another SheCodes workshop down and I cannot recommend them enough for someone looking to get started with coding. Every week is a new adventure of creating and I love it!
This is my second workshop with SheCodes and I continue to be impressed and grateful for the step by step lessons and challenges for every lesson.
I would like to thank Matt and his team at SheCodes for making this challenging but effective introduction to coding a possibility. It is affordable and easily accessible. It has given me the confidence to know that learning to code is possible under any circumstance and at any age. Having come from a varied background but with the intense desire to understand the basics, made this challenge interesting and very impactful. SheCodes Basics is fast paced and detailed. The numerous resources available make it a very comprehensive introduction to coding. I am grateful to have been through this course and would highly recommend it. Happy coding!
Enrolling in the SheCodes Basics workshop was such a great experience. I've always been intimidated by coding, but Matt and the SheCodes team made the learning process so approachable by breaking down concepts into bite-sized pieces. I've learned so much more in the 3 weeks of the workshop than I did after months on other platforms. The support through the Slack channel I received throughout the workshop was invaluable. I love walking away from the workshop with a complete project to demonstrate my new skills and look forward to continuing my coding journey.
Absolutely loved it ! Was able to learn how to code, get my certificate all while working a full-time job. Loved the flexibility of the classes and the video sessions. What started as learning to code out of curiosity became a skill-set
I really enjoyed the way this workshop was laid out. It was really helpful to watch the lesson video first and then do a challenge myself. That is the best way to learn. Plus the slack conversations are always open for assistance. I never felt alone on my journey. I would totally recommend this to anyone who wants to learn coding!
I had so much fun trying out the Basics course. It definitely challenged me but was very do-able given that you have chat support and AI to help around the clock. I would like to continue on furthering my coding skills from here!
I enjoyed doing the Basics Add-On project. I definitely struggled a little with learning how to change the background when selecting the button. This project challenged me for sure!

SheCodes Basics was a great way to learn coding from the beginning, as I had no prior knowledge coming in. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone interested in learning the basics of coding!

This add-on project was challenging, but walking through the project together as a reference helped me complete my project and understand how to correct my mistakes, and get the styling and functions to render correctly.
I'm so grateful for something like this because I thought I'd never be able to accomplish so much in such a short period of time! I had the most fun learning. :)
It was a challenge but I understood it eventually.
I enjoyed the SheCodes Plus Add-On. I learned new ways to add HTML and now know how to use the replace and split methods when needed. I also learned all about moment.js. I hope to learn more as I continue my journey!
I had good expectations going into the workshop, and they were not only met, but exceeded. I learned so much, and felt genuinely invested in what I was doing the entire time. Will be upgrading to the max workshop, and am excited to start!

The Basic Add-On is a great exercise to enhance my skills thus far.
I like this coruse the most because I got to make my own profile for the first time and it was amazing. It was easy to understand.
I really enjoyed this workshop. I learned a few new methods, and I had a really fun time creating the World Clock project.
This was one of the most fun projects to work on, I knew more and had a great time polishing my skills.
Learning how to build a weather app from Mat proved to be a steep learning curve. Analytical thinking and slowing down to break things into logical steps is a must-have skill for anyone wanting to be successful in writing code. Mat showed us that it can be done, and that coding is fun. If you want to learn the fundamentals of coding, you are in the right place.
This class had some great ideas for building your network. It also was helpful on what to include in your resume and on your portfolio website. I would not consider this an essential class, but it was helpful.
LOVED IT. I took this course already having some knowledge(self-taught) on html, CSS and javascript. This course provided all the tools I needed and broke it down in a simplified way that was very easy to retain. I would highly recommend and am certainly thinking of enrolling in another SheCodes course!

This add on workshop was so much fun! I felt like I learned so much and really enjoyed it.
As someone who's just getting started with coding, this add-on course was exactly what I needed. It covered all the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and the final project that I worked on was really helpful for reinforcing what I learned in the Basics course. I really appreciated the structure of the materials and the content was engaging. Overall, I feel much more confident in my coding abilities now than I did before the course.

With SheCodes, I've learned that coding is something I truly enjoy! it reminds me of learning a new language. The SheCodes platform have made it extremally easy and convenient to not only follow along but also be apart of a community willing to make sure you have what you need to keep up to speed. Not to mention the beauty of helping women land roles within a space we don't typically dominate.

This has been an incredible experience; being able to code an entire website from scratch is something I never imagined myself doing. I am able to display all my projects proudly and for everyone to see. This is such a useful project for really getting your coding abilities out there.

Things get even more interesting with SheCodes Plus. Here, we start building on the foundations learnt in SheCodes Basics and also start applying real data. There's a lot to learn but the course structure is well-paced and you never feel overwhelmed with information. SheCodes Plus is more challenging for sure but that's where the fun lies.
SheCodes is amazing, love doing this lessons, project, just brings another view of yourself.

I just finished my second project with SheCodes! The workshops are so easy to follow and I love the flexibility of it all. I signed up for the SheCodes Max workshop so two projects down five more to go! :)
Iβve had a lot of fun completing this course! Iβm very thankful for the ability to complete it at my own pace, and re-watch the lessons when needed. The lessons were super informative and well presented with clear instructions, while leaving just enough out for one to need to problem-solve to finish the project. I enjoyed it immensely and look forward to starting the next course!

Coding is challenging but rewarding to learn! I had a good experience learning along with a wonderful community and support team!
The lessons were explained very well with examples. It didn't feel intimidating at all. The challenges after every new lesson enhanced my learning experience and spiked more of my curiosity in adding more features to projects. I look forward to enrolling again soon and using this as training to a possible career change in tech!

I definitely appreciate the Add-On for the Basics Workshop. It helped me understand HTML, CSS & JavaScript at a deeper level. The add-on project answered any and all questions I had left on the concept of these different languages. I believe that it gave me a challenge to solidify all doubts and concerns on my knowledge, in which I did, resulting in an extra project that I am proud of.
The SheCodes responsive course is great, but the add-on is a less desirable experience. The videos are easy to follow but not challenging enough. The course becomes repetitive. But learning is always present.
I loved learning to code and cannot wait to apply my new skills to my current position!
I did had a great time and I learnt a lot though I had little or no time to study sometimes but I was able to sail through. Matt made it easier and a fun moment whenever he is teaching, that really gives me more courage and I had fun while coding. I'm really grateful for this opportunity!!
I enjoyed this Workshop the most out of all the workshops thus far. I was able to use all of the techniques learned before and really see how much progress I have made personally by starting my portfolio page from scratch. I recommend this workshop to anyoneβespecially designers like me who want to code their design. I think classes are very well structured, with videos and resources and good examples of digesting. Also, help is always there to ask questions and debug the code. This was a super helpful course to me, but now I am curious about what comes next :)

This workshop was a very challenging one for me. Although, I did learn a lot and enjoyed it very much. Definitely worth taking the extra step to learn so much more. SheCodes Basics opened my eyes to how creative and rewarding coding can be. I became addicted! The SheCodes class format is highly-structured, which is especially beneficial when doing a course on your own time at home. Matt is great at breaking down each coding concept step by step, adding new bits of information to steadily build upon what you have already learned. The mini-challenges after each lesson helped me practice the newly introduced skills, which reinforced my knowledge. I am registered for SheCodes Plus and I am so excited to further my coding abilities!

This was a fun extension to solidify web design skills in order to understand what is happening if I use a tool like bootstrap.
Coding is challenging and something I never dreamed I'd be able to learn but I had so much fun working through these projects and learning that I could do it. I feel confident enough in what I've learned to use this knowledge as a creative outlet and I'm very excited to start building my own designs and projects.
SheCodes Responsive was by far my favorite learning workshop so far. I felt I was able to dive into my creative side and also my coding side to develop my portfolio website. It was fun, challenging and I was able to learn a lot about what a responsive website is whether for a mobile phone or tablet.
Project Completed! I am so exited that I have now finished SheCodes Responsive! My first multipage website of many to come is done. This program was challenging in such a new direction. I loved becoming familiar with Bootstrap and GitHub to see everything come together slowly but surely.
Great addition to the basics course! It was very helpful to be walked through the project as I was doing it.
I find SheCodes to be a super cool resource for those who are about to learn how to code - all the instructions and guidelines are easy to understand, support is great, and you feel encouraged to learn more and more every time. It's fascinating because today I'm submitting my first important project -- I had to use my knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS -- and two weeks ago I didn't know anything about coding! I highly recommend SheCodes! :)
The clock app was tricky but fun! Lots of new techniques discovered. Honestly, I re-did this probably 3 times because I was trying one way and then went another. As always, great course!
SheCodes was definitely not an easy course. It was fun and a really great experience to understand a bit of what front-end developers do on a daily basis! I will continue to learn if time lets me! I did learn a ton and Matt is great instructor!
