I really enjoyed my time learning the basics of web development. I've been very unsure whether I wanted to pursue a a career in tech and was looking to test the waters and I can't believe how Matt made this transition as smooth and digestible! Learning a new skill such as Tech can be very daunting but with these easy to follow lesson Matt helped make this journey fun! I found myself smiling several times when I was able to complete a homework or challenge accurately! Thank you Matt!
The SheCodes Responsive workshop was absolutely awesome! I learned many things about how to build up-to-date websites that are actually responsive. The mentor is super cool and made everything easy to understand, which makes it easy to follow along even if you're not experienced in coding.

The Introduction to HTML Training class offers a comprehensive understanding of HTML coding basics and is a great starting point. The class was a well-designed course that exhibited some of the best examples of instructional design that I have seen. Iβm looking forward to using everything I learned in the real world.

This was incredibly fun. I enjoyed learning many more responsive coding methods. In this workshop, I learned so many more advanced ways to code! I learned more HTML and CSS methods to create more responsive elements on a webpage on various devices. I had so much fun researching and figuring out how to bring ideas to life that I didn't even learn in the workshop.

Been in the hospitality business going on six years now am I'm already physically feeling the repercussions pf my decision. Now that I'm a mother, I realized that this field is demanding( physically, emotionally, and mentally), I'm looking to be able to find something that I can both work and grow as well as being able to take care of my daughter.

With SheCodes Basic I learned how to build simple and functional websites to kick off a new journey! Thanks to the self-paced nature of the program, I was able to complete it in a timely manner and with all the available resources, I was able to clarify any misunderstandings in my assignments.
Matt is an amazing educator, and I have enjoyed each lesson. The lessons have got harder, however, I have been coached through each process. This is a course that any beginner can do.

I would say just take the basics and then do another more advanced course that is not shecodes. These courses have no progression. I'm started getting taught at a fourth grade level and I'm still being continually taught in fourth grade level. Website continually disappoints me, it's not a very well working website. And anytime I've asked a question it was never actually answered , except for one time I believe there was a male who answered my question and it was answered correctly.
This was a great refresher, I feel confident moving on to shecodes plus!

The Responsive workshop was the icing on the top of all the SheCodes workshops. I learned how to optimize my webpages to become easier to view on various viewports and incorporate SEO friendly metrics. It was really fun putting all my past projects together into my personal portfolio. I can't wait to start the #React workshop and add to my portfolio.

I enjoyed this workshop a lot. Learned a lot of new things and though it was challenging, completing the project was rewarding.
I wanted something different, something that will be a career and not just a job. This field looked like the way to go but I wasn't sure if I could do it. That was until I came across SheCodes and it just fit and fell into place.
In my honest opinion, each workshop just seems to be better than the last. The world clock project in this add-on was beyond fun to code and also one that allowed me to stretch the skills that I have already picked up. I loved this challenging little project. I cannot wait to start the next workshop in this series.

I am proud of myself and my fellow SheCodes classmates for completing the React course. I liked the challenge of this course and our projects. I find the videos very helpful to refer to when I'm stuck on a problem or missed an important point.

Creating this hobby project was quite fun and has helped me feel more confident in my coding skills! This mini-course taught a few more advanced HTML, CSS, and Javascript skills. Learning how to create a CSS grid, animations, and a dark theme toggle was especially useful and exciting.
I absolutely loved building a world clock and with my love for travel and all the places I'v been, it just hit home. I am looking forward to continue my coding journey as I just want to keep learning and trying new things and more knowledge to write cleaner code. As always, Matt is amazing with how he breaks things down and I just appreciate his honesty and great personality. As we're getting more advanced there is lots of trial and error and what a relief to hear Matt say that sometimes it can take an entire day to write two lines of code! I am 25 and a stay at home mom. I came across SheCodes on a social media platform. I really appreciated that they had a free 1 hour class to discuss what they do, how they work, and how easy it can be to learn coding, through them. Being a stay at home mom has its difficulties, and I really appreciated that it wasn't time consuming. It did still take a lot of effort, but I finished the basic course, and really LOVED my entire experience. I have now completed the plus course, I truly feel I have found a love for coding and am excited for the opportunities it can bring me and my family. I can't wait to see what's to come after this.
